  • Custom EntityNotFoundDelegate

    Hi all, I get a org.hibernate.ObjectNotFoundException when I want to delete an object which doesn't exist anymore via hibernate. I just want this exception to be ignored. I could catch the exception and ignore, this would be a solution maybe. But, since there is a hibernate support for ignoring this exception through org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration#entityNotFoundDelegate, I would like to use its advantage and control it using configuration. The question is then, how can I introduce my own/custom implementation of EntityNotFoundDelegate to the org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration? Does anybody have a sample code for me? Just an additional tip, I use Spring Framework as well in my project.     Hi, I participate in a TDD Coding Dojo, where we try to practice pure TDD on simple problems. It occured to me however that the code which emerges from the unit tests isn't the most efficient. Now this is fine most of the time, but what if the code usage grows so that efficiency becomes a problem. I love the way the code emerges from unit testing, but is it possible to make the efficiency property emerge through further tests ? Here is a trivial example in ruby: prime factorization. I followed a pure TDD approach making the tests pass one after the other validating my original acceptance test (commented at the bottom). What further steps could I take, if I wanted to make one of the generic prime factorization algorithms emerge ? To reduce the problem domain, let's say I want to get a quadratic sieve implementation ... Can you tell if the memory occupied by list stored in invertedIndex is released as well? Or does java allocate new memory for list when assigning list = invertedIndex.get( 1 );

    Hi. We are porting a simple Java application between Tandem NonStop systems, from G-Series to H-Series. Java version is 1.5.0_02. When performing basic I/O tasks like getting output stream from or opening a client socket, we receive exceptions like java.io.IOException: Value out of range or java.net.SocketException: Value out of range ("value out of range" is Tandem native jargon for, well, quite everything I suppose).     I have a player sprite (playerTexture) and a crosshair sprite (crossTexture) in my game. I need to make the player sprite always face towards the crosshair. Does anyone know how to do this? I have tried doing it myself but the math involved boggles my mind. I know there's a rotation parameter in the spriteBatch.Draw() method but I'm unsure how to use it. Thanks!

    Hi, I am trying to talk to a SOAP web service using SUDS and Python. After lots of messing around learning Python (yes I am new to this) and working out how to use SUDS I have come across a problem. The signature of the web method I am calling, according to suds, is (FWTCaseCreate){ ClassificationEventCode = None Priority = None Title = None Description = None Queue = None DueDate = None AssociatedObject = (FWTObjectBriefDetails){ ObjectID = (FWTObjectID){ ObjectType = None ObjectReference[] = <empty> } ObjectDescription = None Details = None Category = None } Form = (FWTCaseForm){ FormField[] = <empty> FormName = None FormKey = None } Internal = None InteractionID = None XCoord = None YCoord = None } So I use SUDS to create the classes that I want and send it to the method. However I get an error. So I turned logging on and I can see that the XML that is being sent is not correct which is causing a deserialize error.   • Installshield cannot find Vista Network drive : Recommended solution

    Our installer writes common files, shared betweeen users, to a user-selectable location. However, in Vista (and maybe in win7 too), the installer does not see any network drives or network locations. This is because in Vista, the drive is mapped to the current user, and the installer starts elevated, as administrator. I can't imagine i'm the first to experience this problem, so what's the recommended solution for this ? Just ignore it, and provide your own "Copy database folder to network" method in the software ?
