Is my login method wrong? Do I pass the right URLs. Do I encode and send the parameter string correctly? Is there any addition valuable data from these POSTs I should take? But if I refresh the page or visit another url and go back the current content is away and I see the old content under the first menu tab. Now I have to solve this problem. However, I would like to also save the identical data to a second archive table.   • Cross domain secure cookie usage?

    I have a website that came with a SSL site for HTTPS but its on a different server. Example being my website: http://example.com my SSL site: http://myhostingcompany.com/~myuseraccount/ So I can do transactions over HTTPS and we have user accounts and everything but it is located on a different domain. The cookie domain is set for that one. Is there a way I can check on my actual site to see if a cookie is set for the other one? And possibly grab its data and auth a user? I think this violates a major principle of security and can't be done for good reasons, but am i wrong? is this possible?

  • Sessions not sticking linux server

    I have just moved the dev site over to my linux server for production but the sessions don't seem to be sticking for very long. I am guessing it is the server settings and not the php because it does the same thing with the plesk panel. Whenever a script is executed the sessions seems to get unset. I see nothing in the error log so not sure what it is. It all worked fine on wamp. Anyway I uploaded the php.ini file which was in the wamp server as it had all the settings i needed and all was working on localhost. Not sure what the problem is and this is the final thing that I have to sort out before going into production. And just too add the sessions are being started as they last for a little bit just don't stick around long.     Google App Engine (GAE) Java SDK uses eclipse as main IDE. IDE runs a server app when I launch debugging session. And it runs another server app when I launch debugging session again. It closes the server app when I stop the debugging session, but it doesn't when I re-launch debugging session. Re-launching means stop and launch again. Why does it stop existing app? So I have to close the server app manually at each time. Is there a way to close existing running app when re-launching debugging session?

    im an intern at a database mngmt company and the boss is training me in access...i took the access tutorials and were definitely not enough info involved to do a what seems a simple task.my problem is this: i have a simple table with contact info with 16 colums (Local_Utility, Requested_User_Type, First_Name, Last_Name, Address 1, Address 2, Country, State, City, Zip, Phone_Number, Username\Email, Password, Confirm Password, and Parcel_Number), with 6 rows of names (keep in mind this is just a test to help me from the boss) I created a form and with 2 drop down boxes (Last Name and State) and im trying to create a view button to view an individual report for a query i made for just simple contact info with 6 colums (Last_Name, First_Name, Address1, City, State, and Phone_Number) Problem1 is that i can view the query with the view by name or state button but cant view a simple individual report from the query using the button Problem2 is that for criteria on the query i put Forms!frmMyparamForm!txtMyStateParamField for the state drop box it works, but when i use Forms!frmMyparamForm!txtMyNameParamField it doesnt and that annoying parameter box pops up Problem3 is that after i close the query, all the states and names in my dropdown box on the form disappear Im a beginner at this please help me

  • I call session_start() the script hangs and nothing happens

    I am running php5, however as soon as I call session_start() the script hangs and nothing happens. Is anyone else experiencing this problem, or am I doing something incorrectly? I am using session_start() on index.php and for some reason sometimes it'll fail. No warnings, no errors, no notices, not even after prepending error_reporting(E_ALL) and ini_set('display_errors', TRUE) before session_start() do I see anything, it just plain dies.

  • How to distinguish between new and returning anonymous Drupal users?

    Is there an easy way (or a module) in Drupal to distinguish between anonymous users who have never created an account versus those who are returning but are not currently logged in? For non-returning (ie, completely new) users, I'd like to have a front page that is very streamlined and focused on registration as the call-to-action. However, if someone is a returning user but not currently logged in, I'd like to present a lot more information on the front page and have login as the main call-to-action. I realize both pages would still need to have both login and register options available, I just want to make the focus significantly different between the two.

  • Scripting an automated SQLServer 2008 DR move

    Hi All We use the built in logshipping in SQLServer to logship to our DR site but once in a month do a DR test which requires us to move back and forth between our Live and BAckup servers. We run multiple (30) databases on the system so manually backing up the final logs and disabling the jobs is too much work and takes too long. I though no problem, I will script it but have run into trouble with it always complaninig that the final logship is too early to apply even though I dont export the final log until putting the database into norecovery mode. Firstly, does any one no a simple and reliable way of doing this? I have lokoed at some 3rd party software (redgate sqlbackup I think it was) but that didnt make it easy in this situation either. What I want to be able to do is basically run a script (a series of stored procedures) to get me to DR and run another to get me back with no dataloss. My scripts are very simplistic at the moment but here they are: 2 servers Primary Paris Secondary ParisT The StartAgentJobAndWait is a script written by someone else (ta) and just checks the jobs have finished or quits it if it never ends.     I have a server running OpenLDAP. When I start a ssh-session I can log in without problems, but an error appears in the logs. This only happens when I log in with a LDAP account (so not with a system account such as root). Any help to eliminate these errors would be much appreciated.
