The problem is that for each member I would like to construct a new object and then map it, and not simply copying the existing one.   I have to connect to a poorly implemented server that only understands Content-Type(capital-T) and not Content-type. How can I ask my jax-ws client to send Content-Type? I've tried Map<String, List<String>> headers = (Map<String, List<String>>) ((BindingProvider)port).getRequestContext().get(MessageContext.HTTP_REQUEST_HEADERS); but headers is null. What am I doing wrong?

• Android GPS timeout

  I'm writing an Android application that, among other things, needs to send the current GPS coordinates to a server when the user tells it to. From a context menu, I run the service below. The service is a LocationListener and requests updates from the LocationManager. When it gets a location (onLocationChanged()), it removes itself as a listener and sends the coordinates off to the server. All of this is working. However, if GPS coordinates are not quickly available, my service just keeps running until it gets some. It holds up the UI with a progress dialog, which is annoying. Worse, if the user has moved since starting the service, the first GPS coordinates might be wrong and the app will send bad data to the server. I need a timeout on the service. Is there a good way to do that? I'm not very experienced with threads. I think I can run a Runnable in the onStartCommand() method that will somehow count down 30 seconds and then, if there is no GPS result yet, call my service's stop() method. Does that sound like the best way to do this? Alternatively, is it possible to tell if the GPS cannot get a fix? How would I go about doing that?   Trying to specify the assembly name like this: Type.GetType(string.Format("{0}.{1}, {0}", widget.Assembly, widget.Class)); Throws this: The requested assembly version conflicts with what is already bound in the app domain or specified in the manifest Trying it without the the assembly: Type.GetType(string.Format("{0}.{1}", widget.Assembly, widget.Class)); Returns null. I am looking for a way to instantiate a class using it's fully qualified name in Silverlight 4.0. Thanks.

• GLFW 3 initialized, yet not?

  I'm struggling with creating a window with the GLFW 3 function, glfwCreateWindow. I have set an error callback function, that pretty much just prints out the error number and description, and according to that the GLFW library have not been initialized, even though the glfwInit function just returned success? I think I'm getting the error because of the setup isn't entirely correct, but I've done the best I can with what I could find around the place I downloaded the windows 32 from glfw.org and stuck the 2 includes files from it into minGW/include/GLFW, the 2 .a files (from the lib-mingw folder) into minGW/lib and the dll, also from the lib-mingw folder, into Windows/System32 In code::blocks I have, from build options - linker settings, linked the 2 .a files from the download. I believe I need to link more things, but I can figure out what, or where I should get those things from.

  I'd like to use Joda's DateTime for query parameters in Jersey, but this isn't supported by Jersey out-of-the-box. I'm assuming that implementing an InjectableProvider is the proper way to add DateTime support. Can someone point me to a good implementation of an InjectableProvider for DateTime? Or is there an alternative approach worth recommending? (I'm aware I can convert from Date or String in my code, but this seems like a lesser solution). Thanks.   Hello. I'm developing an ASP.NET application with C# and Visual Studio 2008 SP1. I'm using WebForms. I have an ASPX page with two UpdatePanels, one on the left that holds a TreeView and other on the right where I load dynamically user controls. One user control, that I used on right panel, has a FileUpload control and a button to save that file on server. The ascx code to save control is: <asp:UpdatePanel ID="UpdatePanelBotons" runat="server" RenderMode="Inline" UpdateMode="Conditional"> <ContentTemplate> <asp:Button ID="Save" runat="server" Text="Guardar" onclick="Save_Click" CssClass="button" /> </ContentTemplate> <Triggers> <asp:PostBackTrigger ControlID="Save" /> </Triggers> </asp:UpdatePanel> I make a full postback to upload the file to the server and save it to database. But I always getting False on FileUpload.HasFile. I problem is the right UpdatePanel. I need it to load dynamically the user controls. This panel has three UpdatePanels to load the three user controls that I use. Maybe I can use an Async File Uploader or delete the right Update Panel and do a full postback to load controls dynamically. Any advice? UPDATE: RegisterPostBackControl works... the second time I click on save button. First time FileUpload.HasFile is FALSE, and second time is TRUE. Second Update On first click I also check ScriptManager.IsInAsyncPostBack and is FALSE. I don't understand ANYTHING!! Why?
