    Hi, I am trying to implement HttpSessionListener so that users of this listener can register implementation of ISessionEvent interface to session Events.code is below: public class MySessionListener implements HttpSessionListener{ @Resource ISessionEvent sessionEvent; public ISessionEvent getSessionEvent() { return sessionEvent; } public void setSessionEvent(ISessionEvent sessionEvent) { this.sessionEvent = sessionEvent; } @Override public void sessionCreated(HttpSessionEvent arg0) { sessionEvent.SessionCreated(arg0.getSession()); } @Override public void sessionDestroyed(HttpSessionEvent arg0) { sessionEvent.SessionDestroyed(arg0.getSession()); } } When user implement ISessionEvent and add as a bean, SessionCreated and SessionDestroyed functions of implementation will be called when these events occured. You can ask why dont you just write inside listeners methods, i dont i'm just trying. It gives Warning: mysql_real_escape_string() [function.mysql-real-escape-string]: A link to the server could not be established. .... I went to php.net and look it up "Note: A MySQL connection is required before using mysql_real_escape_string() otherwise an error of level E_WARNING is generated, and FALSE is returned. My questions are: 1-why they put single quotation around mysql_real_escape_string ? 2-They should establish a connection first, then use the $filter array statement with mysql_real_escape_string ?

  • Cannot change the height of a combo box in the VS Dialog Editor

    Any combo box I create seems to be stuck at 12 dialog units in height. Microsoft's guidelines for spacing and sizing of controls in dialog boxes state that a combo box should be 14 dialog units high. I have even tried editing the resource file in notepad and recompiling in Visual Studio without opening the resource editor - but the combo boxes are still the wrong size! Any ideas?

    I have an app in which I need to use ImageButtons.The app has tabs, and when I click on a tab the ImageButton should be calling setBackgroundResource(), and when I click on another tab the imageButton should call setBackgroundColor() instead. The problem is that once the resource has been set (in my case a shape with round corners, a stroke and a transparent background), any use of setBackgroundColor() will just recolor the shape, and not the whole button. Is there a way to reset/clear the resource of an ImageButton?
