  • wsgi-served page does not refresh

    I recently got my first app to work in uWSGI with Cherokee. I used the following code taken from the uWSGI docs: def application(environ, start_response): start_response('200 OK', [('Content-Type', 'text/plain')]) yield 'Hello World\n' The page correctly reads Hello World. When I change that text to New Thing and refresh, nothing changes. What am I forgetting? What I've tried: clearing browser history and cache stopping and starting Cherokee

  • PHP Form checkbox question

    Hello, I have a form that takes the following inputs: Name: IBM Surface(in m^2): 9 Floor: (Checkbox1) Phone: (Checkbox2) Network: (Checkbox3) Button to send to a next php page. All those values above are represented in a table when i press the submit button. The first two (name and surname) are properly displayed in the table. The problem is with the checkboxes. If i select the first checkbox the value in the table should be presented with 1.     How can I interact with objects I've created based on their given attributes in Ruby? To give some context, I'm parsing a text file that might have several hundred entries like the following: ASIN: B00137RNIQ -------------------------Status Info------------------------- Upload created: 2010-04-09 09:33:45 Upload state: Imported Upload state id: 3 I can parse the above with regular expressions and use the data to create new objects in a "Product" class: class Product attr_reader :asin, :creation_date, :upload_state, :upload_state_id def initialize(asin, creation_date, upload_state, upload_state_id) @asin = asin @creation_date = creation_date @upload_state = upload_state @upload_state_id = upload_state_id end end After parsing, the raw text from above will be stored in an object that look like this: [#<Product:0x00000101006ef8 @asin="B00137RNIQ", @creation_date="2010-04-09 09:33:45 ", @upload_state="Imported ", @upload_state_id="3">] How can I then interact with the newly created class objects? For example, how might I pull all the creation dates for objects with an upload_state_id of 3? I get the feeling I'm going to have to write class methods, but I'm a bit stuck on where to start.

    The stack is initialized with a int MaxSize =3. Then I push one int onto the list. " Pushed:" is returned to the console. Program crashes here. I think my logic is flawed but unsure. Maybe an infinite loop or unmet condition? Thanks for your help. I'm trying to traverse the list to the last node in the second part of the full() method.   • media.set_xx giving me grief!

    New guy here. I asked a while back about a sprite recolouring program that I was having difficulty with and got some great responses. Basically, I tried to write a program that would recolour pixels of all the pictures in a given folder from one given colour to another. I believe I have it down, but, now the program is telling me that I have an invalid value specified for the red component of my colour. (ValueError: Invalid red value specified.), even though it's only being changed from 64 to 56. Any help on the matter would be appreciated! He told me to use this method as a constructor. Which I did: CCard::CCard() { m_Sperre = false; m_Guthaben = rand() % 1000; /* Work */ /* Convert them */ ssPIN >> m_Geheimzahl; ssBN >> m_Nummer; } All variables with m_ are member variables. However, the constructor works when I initialize the card normally CCard card(); at the start of the program. However, I also have a function, that is supposed to create a new card and return it to the user, this function is now broken. The original command: card = newCard(); isn't available anymore, and card = new CCard(); doesn't work. What other options do I have? I have a feeling using the constructor won't work, and that I probably should just create a class method newCard, but I want to see if it is somehow at all possible to do it the way the teacher wanted. This is creating a lot of headaches for me. I told the teacher that this is a stupid idea and not everything has to be classed in OOP. He has since told me that Java or C# don't allow code outside of classes, which sounds a little incredible. Not sure that you can do this in C++, especially when templated functions exist, or generic algorithms. Is it true that this would be bad code for OOP in C++ if I didn't force it into a class?

With the code upon, When i click the button, it redirects to the homepage.     hi all, I am encountering the following bug. I have a class Foo . Instances of this class are stored in a std::vector vec of class B. in class Foo, I am creating an instance of class A by allocating memory using new and deleting that object in ~Foo(). the code compiles, but I get a crash at the runtime. If I disable delete my_a from desstructor of class Foo. The code runs fine (but there is going to be a memory leak).
