In order to tidy this table up, I need to get this information as a date range rather than a row per day as it currently is. I can obviously do this with Min and Max aggregates easily but the ranges overlap and other business code expect non-overlapping ranges. I also tried to achieve this with self joins and row_number(), but without much success... Now let say one worker role Takes this message from queue Takes row from table Amount += 10 Updates Row in Table And Fails After a while message is available in queue again. So next worker role: Takes this message from queue Takes row from table Amount += 10 Updates Row in Table Removes message from queue Those actions results in Amount += 20 instead of Amount += 10. How can I avoid such situations?

I have a nib with a NSTableView with three columns (with the right identifiers set) and a class named ShortcutsTableController. In the nib I have a NSObject with class value ShortcutsTableController. I also connected the NSTableView to my controller as I usually do.   I seem to be having an issue with Jax-WS and Jax-b playing nicely together. I need to consume a web-service, which has a predefined WSDL. When executing the generated client I am receiving the following error: javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: javax.xml.bind.MarshalException - with linked exception: [com.sun.istack.SAXException2: unable to marshal type "java.lang.String" as an element because it is missing an @XmlRootElement annotation] This started occurring when I used an external custom binding file to map needlessly complex types to java.lang.string. I was unable to successfully map between the objects without the custom binding. Finally, one other thing I tried was setting a globalBinding definition: <globalBindings generateValueClass="false"></globalBindings> This caused the server to through an argument mismatch exception since the Soap Message was using xs:string xml types instead of passing the defined complex types, so I abandoned that idea. Any insight into what is causing the MarshalException or how to go about solving the issue of calling the webservice and mapping these objects more easily, is greatly appreciated. I've been searching for days and I sadly think I am stumped.

  I am creating a self-related table: Table Item columns: ItemId int - PK; Amount money - not null; Price money - a computed column using a UDF that retrieves value according to the items ancestors' Amount. ParentItemId int - nullable, reference to another ItemId in this table. I need to avoid a loop, meaning, a sibling cannot become an ancestor of his ancestors, meaning, if ItemId=2 ParentItemId = 1, then ItemId 1 ParentItemId = 2 shouldn't be allowed. I don't know what should be the best practice in this situation. I think I should add a CK that gets a Scalar value from a UDF or whatever else. EDIT: Another option is to create an INSTEAD OF trigger and put in 1 transaction the update of the ParentItemId field and selecting the Price field from the @@RowIdentity, if it fails cancel transaction, but I would prefer a UDF validating. Any ideas are sincerely welcomed.

  Hi, I'm doing a project for a college class I'm taking. I'm using PHP to build a simple web app that classify tweets as "positive" (or happy) and "negative" (or sad) based on a set of dictionaries. The algorithm I'm thinking of right now is Naive Bayes classifier or decision tree. However, I can't find any PHP library that helps me do some serious language processing. Python has NLTK (http://www.nltk.org). Is there anything like that for PHP? I'm planning to use WEKA as the back end of the web app (by calling Weka in command line from within PHP), but it doesn't seem that efficient. Do you have any idea what I should use for this project? Or should I just switch to Python? Thanks

• Using constructor to load data in subsonic3?

  I'm getting an error while trying to load an record through the constructor. The constructor is: public Document(Expression<Func<Document,bool>> expression); and i try to load a single item in like this var x = new Document(f=>f.publicationnumber=="xxx"); publicationnumber isn't a key but tried making an it an unique key and still no go.. Am i totally wrong regarding the use of the constructor? and can someone please tell me how to use that constructor? • Insert some data at later point once serialization(binary serialization) is done for a class

  My application is written in C# and I am a newbie to C#. I am facing with a problem during serialization. The problem is as follows. There are many classes in my project and when serialization is called on one of the main class object it serializes itself and during this process many of the member objects are also get serialized. This whole serialization is done in to a file with extension say ".bin". This bin file size should be of size max 20MB. In this process of serialization one of my other class also gets serialized to a stream, this class is having a big array. The size of this array or list can be of 80 MB or more. So during serialization i have serialize all the objects other than this array and depending upon the size left in the 20MB I need to add in between the serialization the number of array elements which can fit in the remaining memory. For the other array elements left out I have to create a similar kind of .bin file with all the objects serialized and in between need to insert the number of array elements that can fit there. The main problem here is the array elements get inserted at runtime and this list keeps on increasing. So i should be creating .bin files continuously until my application runs. Any ideas how can i implement a solution for this problem? Thanks in Advance.

• AJAX get data from large HTML page as the large HTML page loads

  Not entirely sure whether this has a name but basically I have a large HTML page that is generated from results in a db. So viewing the HTML page (which is a report) in a browser directly does not display all contents immediately but displays what it has and additional HTML is added as the results from the DB are retrieved... Is there a way I can make an AJAX request to this HTML page and as opposed to waiting until the whole page (report) is ready, I can start processing the response as the HTML report is loaded? Or is there another way of doing it? Atm I make my AJAX response it just sits there for a minute or two until the HTML page is complete... If context is of any use: The HTML report is generated by a Java servlet and the page making the AJAX call is a JSP page. Unfortunately I can't very easily break the report up because it is generated by BIRT (Eclipse reporting extension). Thanks in advance.

  I have a class ToolTipProvider which has a method string GetToolTip(UIElement element) which will return a specific tooltip for the UIElement specified, based on various factors including properties of the UIElement itself and also looking up into documentation which can be changed dynamically. It will also probably run in a thread so when the form first fires up the tooltips will be something like the visual studio 'Document cache is still being constructed', then populated in the background. I want to allow this to be used in any wpf form with the minimum effort for the developer. Essentially I want to insert an ObjectDataProvider resource into the Window.Resources to wrap my ToolTipProvider object, then I think I need to create a tooltip (called e.g. MyToolTipProvider) in the resources which references that ObjectDataProvider, then on any element which requires this tooltip functionality it would just be a case of ToolTip="{StaticResource MyToolTipProvider}" however I can't work out a) how to bind the actual elemnt itself to the MethodParameters of the objectdataprovider, or b) how to force it to call the method each time the tooltip is opened. Any ideas/pointers on the general pattern I need? Not looking for complete solution, just any ideas from those more experienced

  I am using the RAD (also on Eclipse) Test and Performance Monitoring. I monitor CPU performance time with it, on particular methods, etc. It is a good tool for my monitoring my applications but I can't copy/paste or export the output to a text file format. So I can send to the others. There has to be a way to export this? Also, I can save the output to file but it is '*.trcxml' binary file? has anyone seen a parser for this file format?

  I asked this question in the Ext JS forums, but I received no responses, so I am asking here. I have a TreePanel (code below) that uses a TreeLoader and an AsyncTreeNode. In my API method specified by the TreeLoader's dataUrl, I return a JSON array to populate the tree. This works great, of course. However, I need to return an additional item--an integer--in addition to the array, and I need to display that value somewhere else in my UI. Is this possible? If not, what else would be a good solution? • VSTO outlook data issue through exchange sync

  I wrote an addin for outlook, It will popup appointment's LastModificationTime while I click button the button eventhandler like this Outlook.ApplicationClass outlook = new Outlook.ApplicationClass(); Outlook.NameSpace ns = outlook.GetNamespace("MAPI"); Outlook.MAPIFolder folder = ns.GetDefaultFolder(Outlook.OlDefaultFolders.olFolderCalendar); Outlook.Items FolderItems = folder.Items; DateTime MyDate = DateTime.Now; List<Outlook.AppointmentItem> Appts = ( from Outlook.AppointmentItem i in folder.Items where i.Start.Month == MyDate.Month && i.Start.Year == MyDate.Year select i).ToList(); foreach (Outlook.AppointmentItem Appt in Appts) { System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox.Show(Appt.LastModificationTime.ToString()); } the issue is happened while I changed appointment in my mobile phone, then sync it to the outlook through exchange server steps which makes issue: click button, get LastModificationTime as "time1" change start date as "start1" in my mobile phone, sync to outlook through exchange server click button, get LastModificationTime, still "time1" change start date as "start2" in outlook, but the appointment is still in "start1" date. restart outlook click button, get new LastModificationTime as "time2", and appointment is in "start1" date, "start2" is gone. steps without issue click button, get LastModificationTime as "time1" 1.1. restart outlook change start date as "start1" in my mobile phone, sync to outlook through exchange server click button, get LastModificationTime, "time2" It looks like List Appts is never been refreshed to latest value if the appointment is changed through exchange server. Is there any solution for this issue? or other reason to make it happened?

• Finding duplicate rows in SQL Server

  I have a SQL Server database of organizations, and there are many duplicate rows. I want to run a select statement to grab all of these and the amount of dupes, but also return the ids that are associated with each organization. A statement like: SELECT orgName, COUNT(*) AS dupes FROM organizations GROUP BY orgName HAVING (COUNT(*) > 1) Will return something like orgName | dupes ABC Corp | 7 Foo Federation | 5 Widget Company | 2 But I'd also like to grab the IDs of them. Is there any way to do this? Maybe like a orgName | dupeCount | id ABC Corp | 1 | 34 ABC Corp | 2 | 5 ... Widget Company | 1 | 10 Widget Company | 2 | 2 The reason being that there is also a separate table of users that link to these organizations, and I would like to unify them (therefore remove dupes so the users link to the same organization instead of dupe orgs). But I would like part manually so I don't screw anything up, but I would still need a statement returning the IDs of all the dupe orgs so I can go through the list of users. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
