    I am using the Google Client API and the GoogleAuthUtil.class to get access to the user's Google Drive Account. String scope = "oauth2:" + DriveScopes.DRIVE; String token = GoogleAuthUtil.getToken(getContext(), account.name, scope); This is the whole magic. It worked the whole day but since a couple of hours I receive the following message when sending API calls: com.google.api.client.googleapis.json.GoogleJsonResponseException: 403 Forbidden { "code": 403, "errors": [ { "domain": "usageLimits", "message": "Daily Limit for Unauthenticated Use Exceeded. Continued use requires signup." } I dont know how to use a API Key from the console instead of an oauth2 authentication. There are two different "getToken()" messages. One has four parameters and the description for the last one says: extras: Bundle containing additional information that may be relevant to the authentication scope. But what do these information should look like? What informations do I have to put in the Bundle?

  • White dialog theme

    I've noticed some apps have a dialog with white background, including along the title border, as opposed to the default black. I know how to make the background white but the whiteness doesn't extend to the dialog's title border. I mainly use AlertDialog.Builder to make my dialogs so ideally something I can easily to that.

  • NullPointerException using EndlessAdapter with SimpleAdapter

    Hello, I am using EndlessAdapter from commonsguy with a SimpleAdapter. I can load data when I make a scroll down without problems, but I have a NullPointerException when I make a scroll up. The problem is in the method @Override public View getView(int position, View convertView,ViewGroup parent) { return wrapped.getView(position, convertView, parent); } from the class AdapterWrapper. The call to wrapped.getView(position, convertView,parent) raises the exception and I don´t know why.   • How to solve JavaScript origin problem with an application and static file server

    In a system that I'm building I want to serve Static files (static HTML pages and a lot of images), and Dynamic XML generated by my servlet. The dynamic XML is generated from my database (through Hibernate) and I use Restlets to serve it in response to API calls. I want to create a static file server (e.g. Apache) so that this does not interfere with the dynamic server traffic. Currently both servers need to run on the same machine. I've never done something like this before and this is where I'm stuck: The static HTML pages contain JavaScript that makes API calls to the dynamic server. However, since the two servers operate on different ports, I get stuck with the same origin problem. How can this be solved? As a bonus, if you can point me to any resources that explain how to create such a static/dynamic content serving system, I'll be happy. Thanks!

    I need to search through a list of folders that could have more folders inside it, and add a new folder depending what folder is its parent.(the path is stored as a String for eg = "root/MyCom/home/") Then i fill in a field with a new folder name and add it to the final folder(eg "home/"). Below as you can see , I can navigate to the right location and add the new folder to a current folder, My trouble is that i cannot ensure that currentFolder element is placed back in the list it came from how could i add a folder to a list of folders, that could be within a list of folders,that could be within a list of folders and endless more?   • Alpha animation bug on button

    I have animations that fade in a Button (alpha from 0 to 1) and fade out a button (alpha from 1 to 0). This part is all working fine. Button A triggers the fade in of Button B. Button B triggers the fade out of itself. Button B totally covers up Button A. The idea is that Button B contains an image that is used like an information popup. Button A is touched and Button B fades in on top. When Button B is touched it fades itself out again. Initially, Button B's visibility is set INVISIBLE and when the fade in animation is complete, it is set to VISIBLE. When Button B is clicked it fades out and then I set the visibility to INVISIBLE. The problem is that after Button B has faded out, and it is set INVISIBLE, it is still clickable and even though it is not visible, and touches are not received by Button A. I have tried removing Button B from the parent and re-adding it after the animation is completed, and this allows for touches to reach Button A, but only once. After that button B is not longer touchable.

  • Using Ant how can I dex a directory of jars?

    I have a directory full of jars (felix bundles). I want to iterate through all of these jars and create dex'd versions. My intent is to deploy each of these dex'd jars as standalone apk's since they are bundles. Feel free to straighten me out if I am approaching this from the wrong direction. This first part is just to try and create a corresponding .dex file for each jar. However when I run this I am getting a "no resources specified" error coming out of Ant. Is this the right approach, or is there a simpler approach to just input a jar and output a dex'd version of that jar?   • How to (unit-)test data intensive PL/SQL application

    Our team is willing to unit-test a new code written under a running project extending an existing huge Oracle system. The system is written solely in PL/SQL, consists of thousands of tables, hundreds of stored procedures packages, mostly getting data from tables and/or inserting/updating other data. Our extension is not an exception. Most functions return data from a quite complex SELECT statementa over many mutually bound tables (with a little added logic before returning them) or make transformation from one complicated data structure to another (complicated in another way). What is the best approach to unit-test such code? There are no unit tests for existing code base. To make things worse, only packages, triggers and views are source-controlled, table structures (including "alter table" stuff and necessary data transformations are deployed via channel other than version control). There is no way to change this within our project's scope. Maintaining testing data set seems to be impossible since there is new code deployed to the production environment on weekly basis, usually without prior notice, often changing data structure (add a column here, remove one there). I'd be glad for any suggestion or reference to help us. Some team members tend to be tired by figuring out how to even start for our experience with unit-testing does not cover PL/SQL data intensive legacy systems (only those "from-the-book" greenfield Java projects).

  • What mutex/locking/waiting mechanism to use when writing a Chat application with Tornado Web Framewo

    We're implementing a Chat server using Tornado. The premise is simple, a user makes open an HTTP ajax connection to the Tornado server, and the Tornado server answers only when a new message appears in the chat-room. Whenever the connection closes, regardless if a new message came in or an error/timeout occurred, the client reopens the connection. Looking at Tornado, the question arises of what library can we use to allow us to have these calls wait on some central object that would signal them - A_NEW_MESSAGE_HAS_ARRIVED_ITS_TIME_TO_SEND_BACK_SOME_DATA. To describe this in Win32 terms, each async call would be represented as a thread that would be hanging on a WaitForSingleObject(...) on some central Mutex/Event/etc. We will be operating in a standard Python environment (Tornado), is there something built-in we can use, do we need an external library/server, is there something Tornado recommends?   • Building an application that includes a DB, and need recommendations

    I'm going to build a little system for personal use, and I want it to save data to a database. The language is going to be C#, and so I'd like to use this opportunity to get my head around LINQ to SQL. I have some DB experience and I know my SQL, but it was all in school using Access, which is giving me trouble, and so I'd like to use another DB, something that is small in size, easy to install, and should work with LINQ to SQL. The problem is: I don't know any except Access, and am looking for recommendations. To sum it up: I need a lightweight, easy to install, linq-to-sql supporting database for a small system on a home computer, any recommendations?

  • caching images that are retrieved

    Hi, I am retrieving a list of images and text from a web service. The images are getting displayed in the list view. But the problem is, when i scroll down the list the entire images are getting loaded once again. When i scroll twice or thrice there is a OutofMemory occuring... Can anyone tell me how to cache the images and also to avoid the loading of the images that are already loaded when i scroll down. I have tried to increase inSampleSize but it didnt work...   • Can't correctly stream x264 video to mobile via RTSP

    Hello! I'm trying to stream video compressed with x264 and NeroAAC and hinted with MP4Box. When i'm playing it with VLC player streaming works fine, as expected. When i'm trying to open URL with my HTC Hero, it switches to player mode, then starts "loading video" animation, then after some time it shows "unable to connect to server". Sample movies provided with DSS streamed fine regardless bitrate. I tried few encoding options, but always the same result. I suspect nocabac and level=11 but it didn't changed nothing. Is there some more specific encoding options for such type? Thank You!

    Hi, We have setup continuos integration in our development environment using SVN, CC.Net, MSBuild and Nunit. Now, we want to automate the process of moving (copying) builds from one stage to another like this: Whenever a new build succeeds in Dev, that should be copied automatically to the QA server (a folder on the QA server, to be exact) Whenever a QA build succeeds tests in QA, that QA build should be copied to the UAT server (a folder on the UAT server, to be exact). This should be implemented as a process (a CC task, for example) which we can start when QA succeeds. Whenever a UAT build succeeds tests in UAT, that should be copied to the PROD server (a folder on the PROD server, to be exact). This should be implemented as a process (a CC task, for example) which we can start when UAT succeeds. How do I implement this? Can this be done using CC.Net alone?   • Not able to get data from Json completely

    i am getting JSON data from http://abinet.org/?json=1 and displaying the titles in a ListView. the code is working fine but the problem is, it is skipping few titles in my ListView and one title is being repeated. You can see the json data from url given above by copy paste it in JSON editor online http://www.jsoneditoronline.org/ i want titles in the "posts" array to be displayed in ListView, however it is being displayed like this: if you see the JSON data from the link above, its missing like 3 titles (they should come between the first and second title) and 5th title is being repeated. Dont know why this is happening. What minor adjustments i need to do?   • Can't access font resource in Silverlight class library

    I have a reasonably large Silveright 3.0 project on the go, and I'm having issues accessing a couple of custom font resources from within one of the assemblies. I've got a working test solution where I have added a custom font as a resource, and can access it fine from XAML using: <TextBlock Text="Test" FontFamily="FontName.ttf#Font Name" /> The test solution consists of the TestProject.Application and the TestProject.Application.Web projects, with all the fun and games obviously in the TestProject.Application project However, when I try this in my main solution, the fonts refuse to show in the correct type face (instead showing in the default font). There's no difference in the way the font has been added to project between the test solution and the main solution, and the XAML is identical. However, there is a solution layout difference. In the main solution, as well as having a MainApp.Application and MainApp.Application.Web project, I also have a MainApp.Application.ViewModel project and a MainApp.Application.Views project, and the problem piece of XAML is the in the MainApp.Application.Views project (not the .Application project like the test solution). I've tried putting the font into either the .Application or .Application.Views project, tried changing the Build Action to Content, Embedded Resource etc, all to no avail. So, is there an issue accessing font resources from a child assembly that I don't know about, or has anyone successfully done this? My long term need will be to have the valid custom fonts being stored as resources in a separate .Application.FontLibrary assembly that will be on-demand downloaded and cached, and the XAML controls in the .Application.Views project will need to reference this FontLibrary assembly to get the valid fonts. I've also tried xcreating this separate font library assembly, and I can't seem to get the fonts from the second assembly. As some additional information, I've also tried the following font referencing approaches: <TextBlock Text="Test" FontFamily="/FontName.ttf#Font Name" /> <TextBlock Text="Test" FontFamily="pack:application,,,/FontName.ttf#Font Name" /> <TextBlock Text="Test" FontFamily="pack:application,,,/MainApp.Application.Views;/FontName.ttf#Font Name" /> <TextBlock Text="Test" FontFamily="pack:application,,,/MainApp.Application.Views;component/FontName.ttf#Font Name" /> And a few similar variants with different assembly references/sub directories/random semi colons. And so far nothing works... anyone struck this (and preferably solved it)?
