  • Which accessType should I use when calling InternetOpen?

    According to the MSDN, you can specify an access type parameter to InternetOpen. Two of the options for the dwAccessType parameter are: INTERNET_OPEN_TYPE_DIRECT - Resolves all host names locally. INTERNET_OPEN_TYPE_PRECONFIG - Retrieves the proxy or direct configuration from the registry. Which of these should I use? I don't know which would be "better". We don't want our application to do anything clever, all we want it to do is access the internet in a normal way.

  • How can I quickly set the iPhone deployment target in Xcode?

    I was reading this great article about Base SDK and Deployment targets and decided to try it out myself. The Deployment target seems to be buried in the Build settings, and not that easy to access compared to the Base SDK target (which is right there in the General tab of the project settings). To get to the Deployment settings now I have to Get Info, go to the Build tab, then search for "Deployment". Is there a quick way to check and access the Deployment target in Xcode that I'm missing?

Provided I can only have this view to work with, how can I achieve this programmatically or there's some settings that I am not aware of in Drupal. P/S: I am aware of the access settings under basic settings in View but that would restrict access to the whole view, not field level.

    The C# Language Reference on MSDN defines that protected internal as "Access is limited to the current assembly or types derived from the containing class". But from the semantic point of protected internal" sounds to me like both protected and internal which means the member will accessible only to those derived classes with in the same assembly. Is there any access modified that has a meaning to the same effect?

Am running into a SharePoint.dll not found issue and upon looking it up(including previous posts in StackOverflow), it seems its available in the server. For this I have created two tables, "menu" and "rights": menu - id - section_name rights - id - menu_id (references column id from menu table) - user_id (references column id from users table) How can a query be written in order to get all menu sections and mark the ones where a given user has access.     This works fine: NSString *myVariable; - (IBAction) doFirstAction { myVariable = @"123456789"; } - (IBAction) doSecondAction { NSLog(@"%@",myVariable); } However, if I do this (substituting the @"123456789" for some code which returns the same value ie "123456789") I cannot access the value in doSecondAction. NSString *myVariable; - (IBAction) doFirstAction { myVariable = [imageNode getAttributeName:@"value"]; } - (IBAction) doSecondAction { NSLog(@"%@",myVariable); } Any clue as to why I cant access myVariable outside of doFirstAction?

    I'm probably going about this the wrong way but... I’ve added a field to the User Profile called profile_real_name which is required by the user. Is there a way to access the details in CCK? For example in CCK when creating a new field I can access the user’s username with the ‘User reference’ Field type and setting the ‘Widget type’ to ‘Autocomplete text field’.     I have a non-contiguous range on rows (example address of myRange: $2:$2,$4:$205,$214:$214) and I would like to access a specific row and column within the range. I have tried the following: 'Get the value of the 2nd row, 1st column within the range myRange.rows(2).Cells(, 1).Value However, this is giving me the value of the 2nd row in the WorkSheet, and NOT in the range - meaning it is giving me address $3$1 - and not $4$1 Can someone please explain how I can access the values within in my range? (It may have to do with different areas) Thank You
