  • How to Compute a Database Column in .NET

    I have a Database named CarsType.accdb there are four fields in the data base Item_Name, Item_Num, Item_Qty, Item_Cost. I am able to get the database to display my data in VisualBasic but I am not sure how to get the total cost to appear in my label (lblTotalCost). I prefer doing it in VB versus writing in my access program. All I am wanting to do it multiply item_qty * Item_Cost How would I go about doing that?

    I'm just programming a little function that toggles a content by fading it in and out. this.advancedSearch = function(fieldset, triggerBtn){ fieldset.hide() triggerBtn.click(function(){ fieldset.toggle(function(){ $(this).stop(false, true).fadeIn(300) }, function(){ $(this).stop(false, true).fadeIn(300) }) }) } if just I use toggle() it works, but when i insert the two functions nothing happens and no error is thrown. Is there something i have done wrong?

    Hey, I would like to write a code involving automatic selection of a best composite model using ETS as well as autoregressive models. What is the criteria I should base my selection on? Also if I'm using the auto.arima function for deducing number of AR terms and corresponding coefficients from the forecast package in R, does my input series necessarily have to be stationary? or the value for d would be automatically selected thus returning a non-stationary model? Let's say I have an user table in declarative mode: class User(Base): __tablename__ = 'user' id = Column(u'id', Integer(), primary_key=True) name = Column(u'name', String(50)) When I know user's id without object loaded into session, I update such user like this: ex = update(User.__table__).where(User.id==123).values(name=u"Bob Marley") Session.execute(ex) I dislike using User.__table__, should I stop worrying with that?   • WebRequest using c# (VS2008) is perfectly working but not on JAVA (Ecplise)

    Hi, I'm trying to read data from a webpage, and I have to do it using JAVA. When I try to do it in Eclipse using JAVA i'm getting time out error: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect (Using HttpURLConnection) In order to understand where is the problem I tried doing the same task using c# and VS2008, and it worked perfectly fine, no time out at all.
