  • Load content while scrolling a div with jquery

    - by enfix
I need to load content while scrolling a div, not window. That's my CSS code: #sidebar{ width:30%; float:right; height:455px; } #video_list{ height:100%; overflow:auto; } And this is my html code: <div id="sidebar" > <!-- other --> <div id="video_list"> </div> </div> Video_list is scrollable and the content is loaded by ajax call. When I go to the end of scrollbar i need to load content again. How can i determine the height of scrollable div ? I tried this: if ($("#video_list").scrollTop()==$("#video_list").height()){ loadContent(); } but it doesn't work !

  • Not catching all mouse events with wxWidgets

    - by Stef
    Hi I am am trying to catch mouse movements for a MouseOver function in an app created with Code::Blocks using the wxSmith plugin. I have stumbled upon a puzzling problem. EVT_MOUSEWHEEL calling the function in the EventTable works well, but all other macros have no result at all. And the mousewheel is not really want I want (I just used it to test...) Here is a the basic problem code (mostly generated by the fantastic wxSmith plugin) MouseMain.h #include <wx/frame.h> #include <wx/statusbr.h> //*) class MouseFrame: public wxFrame { public: MouseFrame(wxWindow* parent,wxWindowID id = -1); virtual ~MouseFrame(); private: //(*Handlers(MouseFrame) void OnQuit(wxCommandEvent& event); void OnAbout(wxCommandEvent& event); void OnButton1Click(wxCommandEvent& event); void MouseOver(wxMouseEvent& event); //*) //(*Identifiers(MouseFrame) static const long ID_BUTTON1; static const long ID_STATICBITMAP1; static const long ID_PANEL1; static const long idMenuQuit; static const long idMenuAbout; static const long ID_STATUSBAR1; //*) //(*Declarations(MouseFrame) wxButton* Button1; wxStaticBitmap* StaticBitmap1; wxPanel* Panel1; wxStatusBar* StatusBar1; //*) DECLARE_EVENT_TABLE() }; #endif // MOUSEMAIN_H ...and MouseMain.cpp #include "wx_pch.h" #include "MouseMain.h" #include <wx/msgdlg.h> //(*InternalHeaders(MouseFrame) #include <wx/bitmap.h> #include <wx/intl.h> #include <wx/image.h> #include <wx/string.h> //*) //helper functions enum wxbuildinfoformat { short_f, long_f }; wxString wxbuildinfo(wxbuildinfoformat format) { wxString wxbuild(wxVERSION_STRING); if (format == long_f ) { #if defined(__WXMSW__) wxbuild << _T("-Windows"); #elif defined(__UNIX__) wxbuild << _T("-Linux"); #endif #if wxUSE_UNICODE wxbuild << _T("-Unicode build"); #else wxbuild << _T("-ANSI build"); #endif // wxUSE_UNICODE } return wxbuild; } //(*IdInit(MouseFrame) const long MouseFrame::ID_BUTTON1 = wxNewId(); const long MouseFrame::ID_STATICBITMAP1 = wxNewId(); const long MouseFrame::ID_PANEL1 = wxNewId(); const long MouseFrame::idMenuQuit = wxNewId(); const long MouseFrame::idMenuAbout = wxNewId(); const long MouseFrame::ID_STATUSBAR1 = wxNewId(); //*) BEGIN_EVENT_TABLE(MouseFrame,wxFrame) EVT_RIGHT_DCLICK(MouseFrame::MouseOver) EVT_MOUSEWHEEL(MouseFrame::MouseOver) EVT_MOTION(MouseFrame::MouseOver) EVT_RIGHT_DOWN(MouseFrame::MouseOver) //(*EventTable(MouseFrame) //*) END_EVENT_TABLE() MouseFrame::MouseFrame(wxWindow* parent,wxWindowID id) { //(*Initialize(MouseFrame) wxMenuItem* MenuItem2; wxMenuItem* MenuItem1; wxMenu* Menu1; wxMenuBar* MenuBar1; wxFlexGridSizer* FlexGridSizer1; wxMenu* Menu2; Create(parent, id, wxEmptyString, wxDefaultPosition, wxDefaultSize, wxDEFAULT_FRAME_STYLE, _T("id")); Panel1 = new wxPanel(this, ID_PANEL1, wxPoint(144,392), wxDefaultSize, wxTAB_TRAVERSAL, _T("ID_PANEL1")); FlexGridSizer1 = new wxFlexGridSizer(0, 3, 0, 0); Button1 = new wxButton(Panel1, ID_BUTTON1, _("TheButton"), wxDefaultPosition, wxDefaultSize, 0, wxDefaultValidator, _T("ID_BUTTON1")); FlexGridSizer1->Add(Button1, 1, wxALL|wxALIGN_CENTER_HORIZONTAL|wxALIGN_CENTER_VERTICAL, 5); StaticBitmap1 = new wxStaticBitmap(Panel1, ID_STATICBITMAP1, wxNullBitmap, wxDefaultPosition, wxSize(159,189), wxSUNKEN_BORDER, _T("ID_STATICBITMAP1")); FlexGridSizer1->Add(StaticBitmap1, 1, wxALL|wxALIGN_CENTER_HORIZONTAL|wxALIGN_CENTER_VERTICAL, 5); Panel1->SetSizer(FlexGridSizer1); FlexGridSizer1->Fit(Panel1); FlexGridSizer1->SetSizeHints(Panel1); MenuBar1 = new wxMenuBar(); Menu1 = new wxMenu(); MenuItem1 = new wxMenuItem(Menu1, idMenuQuit, _("Quit\tAlt-F4"), _("Quit the application"), wxITEM_NORMAL); Menu1->Append(MenuItem1); MenuBar1->Append(Menu1, _("&File")); Menu2 = new wxMenu(); MenuItem2 = new wxMenuItem(Menu2, idMenuAbout, _("About\tF1"), _("Show info about this application"), wxITEM_NORMAL); Menu2->Append(MenuItem2); MenuBar1->Append(Menu2, _("Help")); SetMenuBar(MenuBar1); StatusBar1 = new wxStatusBar(this, ID_STATUSBAR1, 0, _T("ID_STATUSBAR1")); int __wxStatusBarWidths_1[1] = { -1 }; int __wxStatusBarStyles_1[1] = { wxSB_NORMAL }; StatusBar1->SetFieldsCount(1,__wxStatusBarWidths_1); StatusBar1->SetStatusStyles(1,__wxStatusBarStyles_1); SetStatusBar(StatusBar1); Connect(ID_BUTTON1,wxEVT_COMMAND_BUTTON_CLICKED,(wxObjectEventFunction)&MouseFrame::OnButton1Click); Connect(idMenuQuit,wxEVT_COMMAND_MENU_SELECTED,(wxObjectEventFunction)&MouseFrame::OnQuit); Connect(idMenuAbout,wxEVT_COMMAND_MENU_SELECTED,(wxObjectEventFunction)&MouseFrame::OnAbout); //*) } MouseFrame::~MouseFrame() { //(*Destroy(MouseFrame) //*) } void MouseFrame::OnQuit(wxCommandEvent& event) { Close(); } void MouseFrame::OnAbout(wxCommandEvent& event) { wxString msg = wxbuildinfo(long_f); wxMessageBox(msg, _("Welcome to...")); } void MouseFrame::OnButton1Click(wxCommandEvent& event) { } void MouseFrame::MouseOver(wxMouseEvent& event){ wxMessageBox(_("MouseOver event!")); } So my big question: Why are EVT_MOTION, EVT_RIGHT_DOWN or EVT_RIGHT_DCLICK not calling MouseFrame::MouseOver(wxMouseEvent& event) in the way EVT_MOUSEWHEEL does?

  • Simple form not working anymore, since adding jquery tablesorter on same page

    - by Michael
    Hi, I'm using jquery and tablesorter plugin to sort a table in a php-page, which works flawless. Further I have this form in it: <form name="newrs" id="newrs" action="edit.php" enctype="multipart/form-data" method="POST" onSubmit=""> <input class="btn" id="bbtnNew" name="button" type="submit" value="New Recordset" /> </form> But since I added the jquery/tablesorter functionality, the form doesn't work anymore. (If I click on submit, nothing happens. What causes this behaviour? And how can I overcome this? Thanks in advance for your suggestions! .... Initializing the tablesorter with this code: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $("#myTable").tablesorter( { sortList: [ [4,1] ] , widgets: ['zebra'] } ); } ); </script>

  • jQuery Cycle plugin z-index float problem

    - by Antony Carthy
When I try to place an element on top of my jQuery Cycle element, it doesn't work. The element is always behind the jQuery cycle element. I use float: right; to position the element, and set its z-index to 100000, to no avail. Firebug sees the Cycle element and its children as having low z-indexes, and shows the floating element to be in the right place. The element never shows above the Cycling images. <!-- the cycling set --> <div id='headerimages'> <img src='images/header1.jpg' alt='' style='' /> <img src='images/header2.jpg' alt='' style='' /> <img src='images/header3.jpg' alt='' style='' /> </div> <!-- the floating element --> <img src='images/logotransparent.png' alt='' id='logo' />

  • BlackBerry Simulator & BIS Push Service

    - by Submerged
I am hoping that someone knows if you can use RIMM's push service with BIS WITHOUT a hand held device. I have registered for the push evaluation and I want to program a push server that will send out notifications to BB clients. I got my email this morning containing: Server: Application: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Pwd: xxxXXXXX CPID (Content Provider ID):xxx Start Date (MM/DD/YYYY): X/X/XXXX Expiry Date (MM/DD/YYYY):X/X/XXXX First Name:XXXXXXX Last Name:XXXXX Email:[email protected] Account Type:Plus Source IP:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Usage:BIS AND Client: Application Credentials (for use in your client application): Application ID:XXX-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Push Port:xxxxx I am hoping someone can tell me where to get started - as an iPhone developer, I have to say, there is much more information. Lastly, if I DO need a device, does that device have to have a dataplan? I wanted to be able to serve my clients from WiFi as well, does the BB push system work only on Cell networks? Thank you

  • php doctrine last identifier issue

  • Javascript - find swfobject on included page and call javascript function

    - by Rob
I’m using the following script on my website to play an mp3 in flash. To instantiate the flash object I use the swfobject framework in a javascript function. When the function is called the player is created and added to the page. The rest of the website is in php and the page calling this script is being included with the php include function. All the other used scripts are in the php 'master'-page var playerMp3 = new SWFObject("scripts/player.swf","myplayer1","0","0","0"); playerMp3.addVariable("file","track.mp3"); playerMp3.addVariable("icons","false"); playerMp3.write("player1"); var player1 = document.getElementById("myplayer1"); var status1 = $("#status1"); $("#play1").click(function(){ player1.sendEvent("play","true"); $("#status1").fadeIn(400); player4.sendEvent("stop","false"); $("#status4").fadeOut(400); player3.sendEvent("stop","false"); $("#status3").fadeOut(400); player2.sendEvent("stop","false"); $("#status2").fadeOut(400); }); $("#stop1").click(function(){ player1.sendEvent("stop","false"); $("#status1").fadeOut(400); }); $(".closeOver").click(function(){ player1.sendEvent("stop","false"); $("#status1").fadeOut(400); }); $(".accordionButton2").click(function(){ player1.sendEvent("stop","false"); $("#status1").fadeOut(400); }); $(".accordionButton3").click(function(){ player1.sendEvent("stop","false"); $("#status1").fadeOut(400); }); $(".turnOffMusic").click(function(){ player1.sendEvent("stop","false"); $("#status1").fadeOut(400); }); }); I have a play-button with the id ‘#play1’ and a stop-button with the id ‘#stop1’ on my page. A div on the same page has the id ‘#status1’ and a little image of a speaker is in the div. When you push the playbutton, the div with the speaker is fading in and when you push the stopbutton, the div with the speaker is fading out, very simple. And it works as I want it to do. But the problem is, when a song is finished, the speaker doesn’t fade out. Is there a simple solution for this? I already tried using the swfobject framework to get the flash player from the page and call the ‘IsPlaying’ on it, but I’m getting the error that ‘swfobject’ can’t be found. All I need is a little push in the right direction or an example showing me how I can correctly get the currently playing audio player (in flash), check if it’s playing and if finished, call a javascript function to led the speaker-image fade-out again. Hope someone here can help me

  • Routing to the actions with same names but different parameters

    - by zerkms
I have this set of routes: routes.MapRoute( "IssueType", "issue/{type}", new { controller = "Issue", action = "Index" } ); routes.MapRoute( "Default", // Route name "{controller}/{action}/{id}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Home", action = "Index", id = UrlParameter.Optional } // Parameter defaults ); Here is the controller class: public class IssueController : Controller { public ActionResult Index() { // todo: redirect to concrete type return View(); } public ActionResult Index(string type) { return View(); } } why, when i request http://host/issue i get The current request for action 'Index' on controller type 'IssueController' is ambiguous between the following action methods: I expect that first one method should act when there is no parameters, and second one when some parameter specified. where did i made mistake? • Soapui & populating database before

    - by mada
SoapUi & database data needed Hi, In a J2ee project( spring ws + hibernate +postgresql+maven 2 + tomcat),We have created webservices with full crud operations. We are currently testing them with SoapUi (not yet integrated in the integration-test maven phase ). We need tomcat to test them. Actually before the phase test, with a maven plugin, only one time, some datas are injected in the database before the launch of all tests through many sql files. But the fact is that to test some webservices i need some data entry & their Id (primary key) A- What is the best way to create them ? 1- populate one of the previous .sql test file. But now we have a big dependency where i have to be careful to use the same id use in a insert in the sql file in SoapUi too. And if any developper drop the value, the test will broke. 2- create amongst the .sql file test a soapui.sql where ALL data needed for the Sopaui test will be concentrated. The advantage is that the maintenance will be much more easy. 3-because i have Ws available for all crud operations, i can create before any testsuite a previous testsuite called setup-testsuiteX. In this one, i will use those Ws to inject datas in the databse & save id in variables thanks to the feature "property transfer" 4-launch the soapui test xml file with a junit java test & in the Setup Method (we are using spring test), we will populate the database with DbUnit. Drawback: they are already data in the database & some conflicts may appear due to constraint. And now i have a dependency between: - dbUnit Xml file (with the value primary key) - sopaui test where THOSe value of primarykey will be used advantage: A automatic rollback is possible for DbUnit Data but i dont know how it will react because those data have been used with the Ws. 5- your suggestion ? better idea ? Testing those Ws create datas in the DB. How is the best way to remove them at the end ? (in how daostest we were using a automatic rollback with spring test to let the database clean) Thanks in advance for your hep & sorry for my english, it is not my mother thongue. Regards.

  • Mouse over effect with jQuery in richfaces datatable and datascroller combo

    - by John
Hi, I'm problem with defining a mouse over effect for my datatables. I have <a4j:form> <rich:dataTable id="dataTable"> ... </rich:dataTable> <rich:datascroller id="dataScroller" for="dataTable" /> </a4j:form> <rich:jQuery selector="#dataTable tr" query="mouseover(function(){jQuery(this).addClass('active-row')})"/> <rich:jQuery selector="#dataTable tr" query="mouseout(function(){jQuery(this).removeClass('active-row')})"/> which are working fine on the very first page. However if I use the datascroller to goto another page, the mouseover effect is gone. I've tried reRendering the table or the jQuery components, that didn't help with the problem at all. Any suggestion on how I can get this working? Thanks!

  • Outer Join is not working in Linq Query: The method 'Join' cannot follow the method 'SelectMany' or is not supported

    - by Scorpion
I am writing the Linq query as below: But on run its throwing the following error: The method 'Join' cannot follow the method 'SelectMany' or is not supported. Try writing the query in terms of supported methods or call the 'AsEnumerable' or 'ToList' method before calling unsupported methods. LINQ from a in AccountSet join sm in new_schoolMemberSet on a.AccountId equals sm.new_OrganisationId.Id into ps from suboc in ps.DefaultIfEmpty() join sr in new_schoolRoleSet on suboc.new_SchoolRoleId.Id equals sr.new_schoolRoleId where sr.new_name == "Manager" where a.new_OrganisationType.Value == 430870007 select new { a.AccountId, a.new_OrganisationType.Value } I am expecting the result as below: I never used the Outer join in Linq before. So please correct me if I am doing it wrong. Thanks

  • Adobe Flex Datagrid: addEventListener MouseEvent.CLICK

    - by JonoB
    I have a datagrid with a custom label itemrenderer (basically it makes the label look like a traditional html hyperlink). <mx:DataGridColumn id="itemId"> <mx:itemRenderer> <mx:Component> <controls3:HyperlinkLabel text="{data.doc}" /> </mx:Component> </mx:itemRenderer> </mx:DataGridColumn> The above works perfectly. I'd like to try add an event listener to this itemrenderer, but I'm not sure how to do this given that I cant specify an id for the itemrendered itself. I tried the following, but it doesnt seem to work: itemId.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, onItemSelect);

  • jquery click event handler is called twice for a checkbox

    - by Martin
I have a problem with the following code in an ASPX page: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $('.test').click(function() { alert("click") }) }); </script> <asp:CheckBox runat="server" Text="Checkbox XYZ" CssClass="test" ID="cb1" /> In the browser (FF3.5 / IE8) I have the following problem: if I click the checkbox (the small square), it works as expected if I click the checkbox's text ("Checkbox XYZ"), then the click event is fired twice, and the alert is shown twice I guess this has to do with the way the checkbox is rendered to HTML, which is like this: <span class="test"> <input id="ctl00_c1_cb1" type="checkbox" name="ctl00$c1$cb1" checked="checked" /> <label for="ctl00_c1_cb1">Checkbox XYZ</label> </span> How do I correctly setup the click event handler to prevent it from being called twice?

  • Error "403 Forbidden" on Sharepoint Search Settings Page

    - by user21924
Hello I thought I had solved this nightmare by re-entering the values in my SSP properties set up, however accessing the Search Settings page error has reared it ugly head again. Now all solutions point to this method listed here * http://www.routtlogics.com/blog/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=6 * http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/f00651cd-e452-45b9-b19e-90e89c3c3ad4 * http://blogs.technet.com/sushrao/archive/2009/03/26/microsoft-office-sharepoint-server-2007-moss-403-forbidden-error-when-clicked-on-search-settings-page.aspx The above workaround(s) basically states that granting the local group WSS_WPG read and write permission to the Task folder in the Windows directory would solve the problem, however whenever I try to change to the permission attribute of this folder I get an access denied message, even when logged in as a Domain administrator, Enterprise and even the SharePoint Farm administrator. Please guys how do I get around this access denied issue. Thanks

  • MySQL Query Select using sub-select takes too long

    - by True Soft
I noticed something strange while executing a select from 2 tables: SELECT * FROM table_1 WHERE id IN ( SELECT id_element FROM table_2 WHERE column_2=3103); This query took approximatively 242 seconds. But when I executed the subquery SELECT id_element FROM table_2 WHERE column_2=3103 it took less than 0.002s (and resulted 2 rows). Then, when I did SELECT * FROM table_1 WHERE id IN (/* prev.result */) it was the same: 0.002s. I was wondering why MySQL is doing the first query like that, taking much more time than the last 2 queries separately? Is it an optimal solution for selecting something based from the results of a sub-query? Other details: table_1 has approx. 9000 rows, and table_2 has 90000 rows. After I added an index on column_2 from table_2, the first query took 0.15s.

  • JAXB XmlID and XmlIDREF annotations (Schema to Java)

    - by kipz
I am exposing a web service using CXF. I am using the @XmlID and @XmlIDREF JAXB annotations to maintain referential integrity of my object graph during marshalling/unmarshalling. The WSDL rightly contains elements with the xs:id and xs:idref attributes to represent this. On the server side, everything works really nicely. Instances of Types annotated with @XmlIDREF are the same instances (as in ==) to those annotated with the @XmlID annotation. However, when I generate a client with WSDLToJava, the references (those annotated with @XmlIDREF) are of type java.lang.Object. Is there any way that I can customise the JAXB bindings such that the types of references are either java.lang.String (to match the ID of the referenced type) or the same as the referenced type itself?

I have the following class: public class Day { public int Date { get; set; } public String DayName { get; set; } public Day() { } public Day(int date, string dayName) { Date = date; DayName = dayName; CommandManager.RegisterClassCommandBinding(typeof(Day), new CommandBinding(DayClick, new ExecutedRoutedEventHandler(OnExecutedDayClick), new CanExecuteRoutedEventHandler(OnCanExecuteDayClick))); } public static readonly RoutedCommand DayClick = new RoutedCommand("DayClick", typeof(Day)); private static void OnCanExecuteDayClick(object sender, CanExecuteRoutedEventArgs e) { ((Day)sender).OnCanExecuteDayClick(e); } private static void OnExecutedDayClick(object sender, ExecutedRoutedEventArgs e) { ((Day)sender).OnExecutedDayClick(e); } protected virtual void OnCanExecuteDayClick(CanExecuteRoutedEventArgs e) { e.CanExecute = true; e.Handled = false; } protected virtual void OnExecutedDayClick(ExecutedRoutedEventArgs e) { string content = String.Format("Day {0}, which is {1}, was clicked.", Date.ToString(), DayName); MessageBox.Show(content); e.Handled = true; } } I am using the following DataTemplate (that is in a ResourceDictionary) to render it: <DataTemplate DataType="{x:Type local:Day}"> <Grid> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition/> <ColumnDefinition/> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <Rectangle Grid.ColumnSpan="2" x:Name="rectHasEntry" Fill="WhiteSmoke"/> <TextBlock Grid.Column="0" x:Name="textBlockDayName" Text="{Binding DayName}" FontFamily="Junction" FontSize="11" Background="Transparent" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" Margin="0,2,0,0"/> <TextBlock Grid.Column="1" x:Name="textBlockDate" Text="{Binding Date}" FontFamily="Junction" FontSize="11" Background="Transparent" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" Margin="0,2,0,0"/> <Rectangle Grid.ColumnSpan="2" x:Name="rectMouseOver" Fill="#A2C0DA" Opacity="0" Style="{StaticResource DayRectangleMouseOverStyle}"> </Rectangle> </Grid> </DataTemplate> No problems so far, I can get it on screen. What I want to be able to do is assign a Command, or use an event, so that when the user clicks on the Day it will notify the parent of the Day object that it has been clicked. I've tried the following: <Rectangle.CommandBindings> <CommandBinding Command="{x:Static local:Day.NextDay}" Executed="{x:Static local:Day.OnExecutedDayClick}" CanExecute="{x:Static local:Day.OnCanExecuteDayClick}"/> </Rectangle.CommandBindings> to try and bind the commands that are in the Day class but it didn't work. I got an error stating: 'ResourceDictionary' root element requires a x:Class attribute to support event handlers in the XAML file. Either remove the event handler for the Executed event, or add a x:Class attribute to the root element. Which I think means that there is no code-behind file for a ResourceDictionary, or something to that effect. In any event, I'm not sure if I should be using Commands here, or somehow tying events to the Rectangle in question, or if this is even possible. I've seen various places where it sure looks like it's possible, I'm just unable to translate what I'm seeing into something that actually works, hence this post. Thanks in advance.

  • How to get texts in ListBox using AutoIt

    - by Carlos_Liu
I am using Autoit to create an auto-install app. There is an dialog which contains a ListBox control, and in the listbox there are some choices for user (the detailed choices depends on user's machine, for some users there maybe only one choice, for some users there may be 3 choices etc), so I want to get the texts in the listbox to make the decision. I have tried the following code but it did not work ; 2223 is the ID of listbox $txt = ControlGetText("Select Web Site", "", "[ID:2223]") Msgbox(0, "", $txt) after execution the $txt is null So what should I do to get the texts in Listbox?

  • Interesting SQL Sorting Issue

    - by rofly
It's crunch time, deadline for my most recent contract is coming in two days and almost everything is complete and working fine (knock on wood) except for one issue. In one of my stored procedures, I'm needing to return a result set as follows. group_id | name A101 | Craig A102 | Craig Z101 | Craig Z102 | Craig A101 | Jim A102 | Jim Z101 | Jim Z102 | Jim B101 | Andy B102 | Andy Z101 | Andy Z102 | Andy The names need to be sorted by the first character of the group id and also include the Z101/Z102 entries. By sorting strictly by the group id, I get a result set as follows: A101 | Craig A102 | Craig A101 | Jim A102 | Jim B101 | Andy B102 | Andy Z101 | Andy Z102 | Andy Z101 | Jim Z102 | Jim I really can't think of a solution that doesn't involve me making a cursor and bloating the stored procedure up more than it already is. I'm sure a great mind out there has an elegant solution and I'm eager to see what the community can come up with. Thanks a ton in advance.

  • printing in the same line in java.

    - by sil3nt
Hi there, I have a base class called Items and 3 derived classes, and within the Items base class i have a print function of the form public void print(){ System.out.println("ID " + id + " Title " + title + " <" + year + "> "); } and within every derived class I call the Items print function through super.print(); which is followed by a specific print function relating to the derived class. My problem is, whenever the printing is executed from one of the derived classes the printed text is not on the same line. So super.print() will be in the line above the derived class print function. How do I get them both to be on the same line?

  • Segue Popover won't behave properly

    - by CStreel
I'm trying to use Segue to present then dismiss a Popover view a UIBarButtonItem is clicked. I've created a generic Segue that is not anchored to anything but the view and given it a name I've Anchored the UIBarButtonItem in the Interface Builder to: - (IBAction)clickedSettings:(id)sender { if(self.popSegue != nil) { [self.popSegue.popoverController dismissPopoverAnimated:YES]; } else { //Current says only a button may [self performSegueWithIdentifier:@"Settings" sender:sender]; } } But when ever i click the button to display the Segue it gives me an error: Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'UIStoryboardPopoverSegue must be presented from a bar button item or a view.' It doesn't even hit my -(void)prepareForSegue:(UIStoryboardSegue *)segue sender:(id)sender I've read the following questions on stack: iOS:How to dismiss Popover UIBarButtonItem + popover segue creates multiple popovers But i still get the same error. For the life of me i can't figure out what is going wrong

  • Nesting resizable elements

    - by Travis
I am using jQuery UI's resizable for nested divs, like so: <div id="resizable1"> <div id="resizable2"> </div> </div> I'm running into a problem where disabling resizable 1 also disables resizable 2. So, if I call the following... $("#resizable1").resizable("disable"); ...then I can no longer resize resizable2 either. Has anyone else encountered this, and know of a way around this behaviour? Thanks, Travis
