jQuery .closest returns undefined

I've got the code below which works fine, however the jquery to add the items doesnt find the data-parent-room value and just returns undefined. Success function not being called when form is submitted

Stuff Im suspecting: Should i be using jsonp instead of json? Im new to this. Is there a problem with my php file? Perhaps I need to include some more javascript files in my html file? Pagination links do not work after first page

How can I generate XML application configuration using Zend_Tool?

When creating a new project using zf create project myproject it will create a default project layout with an application.ini in the configs folder. Where can I change these default settings so that it generates (and uses) an XML file (application.xml)? I've looked at the documentation for Zend_Tool (http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.tool.html), but there seems to be no information on how to do this. And suppose you'd like to use a different default folder layout (ie. use htdocs instead of public as your document root), is there a way to specify this as well? Any pointers to relevant information (btw I've looked at the Quickstart, nothing relevant is mentioned there unless I'm overlooking it)? edit I already tried creating a profile (stored in .zf/project/profiles), and used that to create a project (using zf create project myproject myprofile) but that doesn't change anything, even though the .zfproject.xml file in the root of the new project does contain the <applicationConfigFile type="xml"/> setting... Hover image - part of forms appears untill hover another How?

Im trying to make part of my form/questionnaire appears when hover on image and stay active untill hover another image next to it. and repeat it on 7 images. Of course I need the cheched checkboxes to stay after they'll be hidden so you can come back to them by hover the image and for ex. correct answers and so on.. JQuery Dynamic Element - In DOM but unable to bind

Hi All, I'm new to using JQuery so bear with me. I had implmented some code based on a js file that I found online which enables a series of div tags within a nested structure on my page to step through and show each one individually on the page. This all works great when I define the div tags as static entries in the masterpage. I should add that this is being implemented in a SharePoint master page. Ultimately though, with a static collection of div tags ideally containing an image with some descriptive text, and a hyperlink its not very flexible. Roll on my changes to make this a little more configurable. I have implemented some additional code that will read from a SharePoint list via an ajax call to the lists web service. For each entry in the list I am building a div tag that contains the information required dynamically. For testing, I am only pulling the title through at present. I have used the following code: $('#beltDiv').append(divHTML) to append the divs in the loop that are created to my nested structure on the page. I figured that this would cause the fade code to work as expected but I was wrong. It doesn't do anything at all. When check the source on the page, the div tags are not shown. They are however available in the DOM model when viewed through the IE developer toolbar. The issue (I think) looks to be that the initiation of the featureFade code is not working due to the div tags being unavailable. Is there a way to address this? Why is this UL and inline JS giving errors during HTML validation?

I've just run the homepage of a site I'm working on through the w3c HTML validator and it's come back with 3 errors and 2 warnings. I've taken a look at them but can't see why they would be causing a problem. I've pasted them in below (I've removed URL's/strings etc as the site isn't quite ready to be made public yet). This is being validated against XHTML Transitional by the way. How do would you use jQuery's .each() to apply the same script to each element with the same class?

I have a with multiple cart items listed. I have a "x-men logo" looking remove button that I want to fade-in next to the item when the customer hovers over a cart item. I had no issue getting this to work when there is only one item in the list. However, when there are multiple items in the cart, the jQuery operates funky. It still does the fade in, but only when I hover over the last item in the cart, and of course all of the "remove X" images become visible. Argh... So i searched around and think the .each() is my savior. I have been trying to get it to work, with no luck. My script just breaks when I attempt to implement it. Anyone have any pointers on this *.each() thing and how to implement it into my script?* I have tried putting a cartItem.each(function(){ around the mouseEnter/mouseLeave events (and used some $(this) selectors to make it "make sense") and that didn't do anything. Tried some other things as well with no luck... jquery for each function

CSS Position Help (horizontal sidebar showing up when animate content over)

Let me try my best to explain what I'd like to have happen, show you the code I have an hopefully I can get some help. So, I'm trying to do a sliding navigation UI from the left side of the screen (like a lot of mobile apps). The main content slides over, displaying the navigation menu beneath. Right now the browser thinks the screen is getting wider and introduces a horizontal scroll bar. However, I don't want that to happen... How do I get the div to animate off screen but not enlarge the width of the screen (i.e. keep it partially off screen)? strange behavior while including a class in php

I'm experiencing a strange behavior with PHP. Basically I want to require a class within a PHP script. I know it is straight forward and I did it before but when I do so, it change the behavior of my jquery (1.8.3) ajax response. I'm running a wamp setup and my PHP version is 5.4.6. The strange thing is that my result always fall under the default switch statement and the ajax response fit both present statement. I noticed then if I just paste the Container class on the top of the handler.php file, everything works properly but it kind of defeat what I try to achieve. I tried different way to include the Container class but it seem to be than the issue is specific to this current scenario. Javascript form validation only works in firefox

Hello, I am relatively new to Javascript so I'm hoping this is a simple mistake. I building a generic form validation function that is called on the form's onSubmit. The function loops through all the form's child elements, looks for certain classes, and analyzes the contents of the appropriate fields. If it finds something missing or erroneous, it displays the appropriate error message div and returns false, thus preventing the form from being submitted to the php page. It works well in firefox 3.6.3, but in every other browser I've tested (Safari 4.0.4, Chrome 4.1, IE8) it seems to ignore the onSubmit and jump straight to the php processing page. Perl - Reading .txt files line-by-line and using compare function (printing non-matches only once)

I am really struggling and have spent about two full days on this banging my head against receiving the same result every time I run this perl script. I have a Perl script that connects to a vendor tool and stores data for ~26 different elements within @data. There is a foreach loop for @data that breaks the 26 elements into $e-{'element1'), $e-{'element2'), $e-{'element3'), $e-{'element4'), etc. etc. etc. I am also reading from the .txt files within a directory (line-by-line) and comparing the server names that exist within the text files with what exists in $e-{'element4'}. The Problem: Matches are working perfectly and only printing one line for each of the 26 elements when there is a match, however non-matches are producing one line for every entry within the .txt files (37 in all). So if there are 100 entries (each entry having 26 elements) stored within @data, then there are 100 x 37 entries being printed. So for every non-match in the: if ($e-{'element4'} eq '6' && $_ =~ /$e-{element7}/i) statement below, I am receiving a print out saying that there is not a match. 37 entries for the same identical 26 elements (because there are 37 total entries in all of the .txt files). The Goal: I need to print out only 1 line for each unique entry (a unique entry being $e-{element1} thru $e-{element26}). It is already printing one 1 line for matches, but it is printing out 37 entries when there is not a match. I need to treat matches and non-matches differently.
