xforms: how to prevent xxforms:default value from over-writing user input

I have a dropdown to display status, which can be Enabled(true) or Disabled(false). Here is my xml instance. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <page> <file-name></file-name> <status></status> </page> By default, status should be true. So I have set it in binding as follows. <xforms:bind nodeset="./status" xxforms:default="true()" /> When user chooses Disabled in the dropdown, the status should get saved as false. Here is the xml that gets saved when I save the form. <page> <file-name>StatusDisabled.xml</file-name> <status>false</false> </page> When I open the form in edit mode, this is the xml I get in the XML inspector widget. <page> <file-name>StatusDisabled.xml</file-name> <status>true></status> </page> Status gets set to true because of xxforms:default, even though the xml is saved with a false value for status. How can I fix this? Unable to get values in ftl from value stack in custom Result Type

Hello, I am unable retrieve value from value stack in FTL file. Here is the code. But FTL is throwing an exception Expression name is undefined on line 1, column 3 in sample.ftl I tried with passing session instead of value stack and I could get the value in FTL. I am using a map inside another map, The key of the outer map is Integer and the value is another Map. I get the values as expected but I don't know how to get the key and value of teh inner map. This might be a little complicated. See code below. When image is clicked I want to change "MY-ID-NUMBER" in "value" and "src" of object. But I want the other information to remain. When link is clicked I want to restore "value" and "src" so I can use the same function for next image that is clicked. Is it possible? Please help! Dependencyproperty doesn't have value on load

My problem is this, I have a UC called profile that contains another UC called FollowImageControl. In my Profile.xaml i declaretively bind a property of FollowImageControl called FollowerId to a CurrentUserId from Profile.xaml.cs. Problem is that I CurrentUserId is assigned in Profile.xaml.cs; the Profile.xaml code-behind. This means that I do not initially get the FollowerId. how to filter text of the selected value in drop down

I have a drop down menu. Has product types. Product types have associated value (from drop down) values correspond to machine groups. So each option should have three variables--Machine name, values, machine group. I can get the Machine name and I can get the machine value (and display them in a different field)...what I have not been able to figure out is how to change the value into the Machine group. jQuery('#MachineName').bind('change', function() { //get selected value from drop down; var selectedValue = jQuery("#MachineName").val(); //populate a text field with the selected drop down value jQuery("#MachineValue").val(selectedValue); What I would like to do is keep that MachineValue but then populate another text field with the sorted MachineGroup I have been trying to run it through something like switch(jQuery(this).val()){ case "236" : newVal = "8"; break; But I don't want to "change" the value I just want to do an "if then" type filter, so maybe something like: '236' => "8", '237' => "5", I just don't know how to properly say "assign the MachineGroup based on the MachineValue" (and then have it populate a different text field) In the end I would have three fields. The drop down, the MachineValue and the MachineGroup. Drop down and value are done, I just need to do Group. (And I can sort Group based on MachineName...just not sure which would be easier)

Java - multithreaded access to a local value store which is periodically cleared

I'm hoping for some advice or suggestions on how best to handle multi threaded access to a value store. My local value storage is designed to hold onto objects which are currently in use. If the object is not in use then it is removed from the store. A value is pumped into my store via thread1, its entry into the store is announced to listeners, and the value is stored. Values coming in on thread1 will either be totally new values or updates for existing values. A timer is used to periodically remove any value from the store which is not currently in use and so all that remains of this value is its ID held locally by an intermediary. Now, an active element on thread2 may wake up and try to access a set of values by passing a set of value IDs which it knows about. Some values will be stored already (great) and some may not (sadface). Those values which are not already stored will be retrieved from an external source. My main issue is that items which have not already been stored and are currently being queried for may arrive in on thread1 before the query is complete. I'd like to try and avoid locking access to the store whilst a query is being made as it may take some time.

Hello, I am using wpf and its C sharp! I have this in my Animal.cs clas private string _animalName; public string AnimalName { get { return _animalName; } set { if(_animalName!= value) { _animalName= value; this.NotifyPropertyChanged("AnimalName"); } } } I could also write: public string AnimalName {get;set;} There is no difference in binding and validation. Everythings works as before when I exchange the code. Is this due to the fact that I only create new animals but I do not allow to update the animals name in my application ? So I need to call the propertyChanged("AnimalName"); only when I want to change its property value? I am a c# beginner ;)

my config file below: very strange, i have spent a day to find out where i am wrong, but still not working, it still not log anything in the database,but i can output them using RollingFileAppender. Also, the store procedure WriteLog is working well.(I have tested it using sql server studio). I have tried to change the connectionType but not working. Unfortunately I dont have sql server 2000/2005 to test, my log4net version should be the latest one: log4net 1.2.10. I have already do the test using AbstractDependencyInjectionSpringContextTests and it works but in spring 3 it is deprecated, so I decided to try @ContextConfiguration but spring say that default constructor is not found, I check and the class doesn't have any constructor. PropertyInfo SetValue and nulls

If I have something like: object value = null; Foo foo = new Foo(); PropertyInfo property = Foo.GetProperties().Single(p => p.Name == "IntProperty"); property.SetValue(foo, value, null); Then foo.IntProperty gets set to 0, even though value = null. It appears it's doing somemething like IntProperty = default(typeof(int)). I would like to throw an InvalidCastException if IntProperty is not a "nullable" type (Nullable< or reference). I'm using Reflection, so I don't know the type ahead of time. How would I go about doing this?

HI volks, I try to set some hidden form field values with an onclick event. Ok, after I did something like this: document.getElementById('hidden_field').value = 123; I can output the value with the firebug console by entering this: alert(document.getElementById('hidden_field').value); So the values are definitely set. But now when I submit the form, the hidden field values are still empty. Do you have any idea whats going wrong? Thx for your answers.

I have written a script that checks if an SVN Repo is up and running, the result is based on the return value. import subprocess url = " validurl" def check_svn_status(): subprocess.call(['svn info'+url],shell=True) def get_status(): subprocess.call('echo $?',shell=True) def main(): check_svn_status() get_status() if __name__ == '__main__': main() The problem I'm facing is that if I change the url to something that does't exist I still get the return value as 0, but if I were to run this outside the script, i.e go to the terminal type svn info wrong url and then do a echo $? I get a return value of 1. But I can't re-create this in the python. Any guidelines ?

Tools for retrieving and modifying multi-value attributes in Microsoft ActiveDirectory

Most attributes in MSAD are single-valued and pose no problem. I am familiar with the dsquery user -samid jdoe | dsmod -webpg "http://some.url/" method. However, some attributes are multi-valued, such as telephone number and webpage. These values can be managed through the Active Directory Users & Computers Microsoft Console (dsa.msc) via the dialogue shown by clicking on the "Other..." button, but I'd really rather script the modifications. It seems to me that dsmod & dsget do not support multi-value retrieval and editing; only the first value of the set seems to be accesible. Am I correct? If I am not correct, I would appreciate a syntax example. If I am correct, would you please recommend an alternative scriptable tool that can handle multi-value attributes? The more "official and supported" the tool, the better.

Default browser hangs

Intermittent hangs would occur when I would use Internet Explorer to open a new main page or new tab to a site I know would be up. The browser would open and say "Waiting for site example.com" and do nothing more. If I closed the window and reopened it it would immediately connect. Over time I would have to close and reopen the window to get to the page. This would happen to any page, including Google. Got sick of it and started using Chrome. I recently upgraded my anti-virus and am now experiencing the same issue with Chrome. I use AVG for my antivirus. Empirically it seems that if I don't make Chrome my default browser I don't experience the issue. I tested this theory for over two hours yesterday. Possible issues I have found this could be but not confirmed yet: MTU settings are not correct. I am infected but my antivirus has not caught it (unlikely but possible) ?? I would like to think this is related to my antivirus but I am unsure how to verify. I don't like the idea of killing my antivirus if #2 is a possibility. I am looking for tips on how I can troubleshoot possible issues.

Change the default route without affecting existing TCP connections

Let's say I have two public network addresses on my server: one NAT through an ISP (192.168.99.0/24), and a VPN through a different ISP (192.168.1.0/24), already configured with a per-host route to the VPN server through my ISP. Here is my initial routing table. I am currently routing through my ISP on subnet 192.168.99.0/24. $ route -n Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 0.0.0.0 192.168.99.1 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 eth1 55.66.77.88 192.168.99.1 255.255.255.255 UGH 0 0 0 eth1 192.168.99.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 eth1 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 tap0 Now, I want new TCP connections to switch to my 192.168.1.0/24 so I type the following: $ route add -net 0.0.0.0 gw 192.168.1.1 dev tap0 When I do this, it causes some long-standing TCP connections to hang. Is there a way to I safely change the default interface for new connections, while allowing existing TCP connections to use the old route (i.e. do I need enable some sort of stateful routing table)? I am okay with a solution that only works with established TCP connections, and I don't care how hacky it is. For example, if there is a way to add temporary iptables rules for existing connections to force them over the old route. But there has to be some way to do this. EDIT: Just a note about a simple "route add -host ... " for existing connections: this solution would work if I am fine with leaving a subset of IPs on the old interface. However, in my application, this actually doesn't solve my problem because I want to allow new connections to come on the new interface even if they have the same source IP. I'm now looking at using the "ip route" command to set source-based routing rules.

How to Change the Kerberos Default Ticket Lifetime

Our KDC servers are running either Ubuntu Dapper (2.6.15-28) or Hardy (2.6.24-19). The Kerberos software is the MIT implementation of Kerberos 5. By default, a Kerberos ticket lasts for 10 hours. However, we'd like to increase it a bit (e.g. 14 hours) to suit our needs better. I had done the following but the ticket lifetime still stays at 10 hours: 1) On all the KDC servers, set the following parameter under [realms] in /etc/krb5kdc/kdc.conf and restarted the KDC daemon: max_life = 14h 0m 0s 2) Via "kadmin", changed the "maxlife" for a test principal via "modprinc -maxlife 14hours ". "getprinc " shows that the maximum ticket life is indeed 14 hours: Maximum ticket life: 0 days 14:00:00 3) On a Kerberos client machine, set the following parameters under [libdefaults], [realms], [domain_realm], and [login] in /etc/krb5.conf (everywhere basically since nothing I tried had worked): ticket_lifetime = 13hrs default_lifetime = 13hrs With the above settings, I suppose that the ticket lifetime would be capped at 13 hours. When I do "k5start -l 14h -t ", I see that the end time for the "renew until" line is now 14 hours from the starting time: Valid starting Expires Service principal 04/13/10 16:42:05 04/14/10 02:42:05 krbtgt/@ renew until 04/14/10 06:42:03 "-l 13h" would make the end time in the "renew until" line 13 hours after the starting time. However, the ticket still expires in 10 hours (04/13 16:42:05 - 014/14 02:42:05). Am I not changing the right configuration file(s)/parameter(s), not specifying the right option when obtaining a Kerberos ticket, or something else? Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Linksys router cannot change default password

My wireless internet suddenly stopped working today. I have Windows 7 and Lindsys WRT54G router. I tried to log into the Linksys setup router page by typing in www.192.168.1.1 into firefox and it prompted me for a username and password as usual. The problem is when i tried to enter my regular username and password it did not work. I finally solved my problem when I came across this post here and the very last post solved my problem. It suggested I try username: root / password: admin. For some reason the username and password has been changed. When i tried username: root / password: admin , it worked and allowed me to get into the Linksys setup page. The problem is I can't change the username or password anymore. Every time I want to log into my Linksys setup page I have to enter username: root / password: admin. I can't change the "WPA shared key" (password). For the security settings I selected WPA2Personal + AES. Also the post said "If the firmware was upgraded to non-linksys firmware - the default will be different" . The problem is I didn't update anything and I'm worried that someone installed a virus or something or somehow changed the firmware on my router. How did I get non-Linksys firmware on my router? EDIT: I figured out how to change the password when I log into the Lynksys setup page. Administration -- Management -- password. I still don't understand if my router firmware was changed or who changed it or if it happened by mistake.

Win7 - Some pinned program's icons are corrupt, show default

I have both FF 3.6 & Chrome pinned to my taskbar in win7. The icons for these two programs show up as the ugly default icon from yesteryear. Strange. Is there some way to force an icon refresh for pinned programs? When I first added them they showed properly, but several days later they reverted to this state Un-pinning the program causes the icon to show up properly, and re-pinning it causes it to break again. These other proggies show up fine: Media Center, Media Player Classic HC, Hulu Desktop, WMP, and the folders. I have 2 user accounts on this box, and both are showing this behavior. I have tried changing the taskbar icon size to 'small' and back, but to no effect. Edit (Add) The icons show up as broken in the start menu too, but I can navigate to the EXE directly. When I click "change icon" in the properties for the start menu entry I get the error : Can not find %ProgramFiles%\Google\Chrome...\chrome.exe.

Apache2 Manage Server default

I'm trying to setup two domains correctly. I have some issues I hope you can help me. Site one's conf: <VirtualHost myipaddress:80> ServerName www.domain1.com ServerAdmin [email protected] DocumentRoot /home/domain1/public_html </VirtualHost> My other domain conf is: <VirtualHost myipaddress:80> ServerName www.domain2.com ServerAlias *.domain2.com domain2.com ServerAdmin [email protected] DocumentRoot /home/domain2/public_html </VirtualHost> The default site is disabled. The problem is that when accessing "domain2.com" from my browser, it always redirects to "www.domain1.com". It only works when I excplicitly access "www.domain2.com". I have also other domains like "domain1.net", "domain1.info" pointing to my server but at this moment are not configured either setup on Apache yet I can access from browser and always accessing to "www.domain1.com". By the way is there any possible configuration over Apache to handle IP only, I mean if I type "http://myipaddress/" I get the "www.domain1.com"... Arrgh.

CentOS - mdadm raid1 drive won't mount to default location

I'm running CentOS 5.5, the system, boot, swap, etc. is all on /dev/sda and I have two identical single-partition drives /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdc1 that are configured in RAID1 (using mdadm). It was working fine (configured to mount to /mnt/data in the fstab file) and I recently let yum install a couple of automatic updates without paying attention to what they were, and now it doesn't work. Raid is working fine (dmesg shows it gets loaded correctly). mdstat shows: # cat /proc/mdstat Personalities : [raid1] md0 : active raid1 sdc1[1] sdb1[0] XXXX blocks [2/2] [UU] unused devices: <none> Additionally, I can mount it anywhere other than its default directory (i.e. the following works, and I can read data off the drives). # mount /dev/md0 /mnt/data2 EXT3-fs warning: mounting fs with errors, running e2fsck is recommended But when I run the following I get: # mount -a mount: /dev/sdb1 already mounted or /mnt/data busy It says nothing is mounted when I try to umount /dev/sdb1 or umount /mnt/data, so I assume it's the second of those errors. However, lsof | grep mnt shows nothing. The weird thing is that I can save files in /mnt/data. So something is obviously mounted there, but when I try to umount it I get the error that nothing is mounted. /etc/mtab doesn't mention any of the partitions or files I am trying to work with, and fstab just has that one line I mentioned above that is supposed to mount my raid partition. Again, it was all working fine until I On Google I've found a few things about dmraid interfering with mdadm after an update, but I yum remove'd dmraid and rebooted and it didn't help. I'm really confused and need to get this working to get on with my work!

Appears to be "randomly" switching between the acl matched backend and the default backend

I have HAProxy acting as a proxy in front of: An NGinx instance An in-house load balancer in front of multiple dynamic services exposed with socket.io (websockets) My problem is that from time to time my connections are proxied correctly to my socket.io cluster, and then randomly it fallsback to routing to NGinx which obviously is annoying and meaningless since NGinx isn't mean't to handle the request. This happens when requesting for URLs of the format : http://mydomain.com/backends/* There's an ACL in the HAProxy config to match the '/backends/*' path.
