  • ASP.NET MVC SSL POST Error

    - by RyanFetz
    I have a Logon page in a MVC (1.0) application that I am securing with SSL, I have an attribute that inspects the request for the page and redirects to a https uri when it is requested with http. This all works, however when I post the form content i get the following error: The parameters dictionary contains a null entry for parameter 'rememberMe' of non-nullable type 'System.Boolean' for method 'System.Web.Mvc.ActionResult LogOn(System.String, System.String, Boolean, System.String)' in 'DAC.US.Web.Portal.Controllers.AccountController'. To make a parameter optional its type should be either a reference type or a Nullable type. Parameter name: parameters here is the controller code... // // GET: /Account/LogOn [RequiresSSL] public ActionResult LogOn(string ReturnUrl) { if (TempData["Message"] != null) ViewData["Message"] = TempData["Message"]; TempData["Message"] = null; ViewData["ReturnUrl"] = ReturnUrl ?? "/Home"; return View(); } Again, the RequireSSL Attribute works, but the POST from that SSL uri does not. What is not working?

  • Using Facebook Graph to simply post a wall message with just javascript

    - by Glycerine
    Hey guys, Now I know this question has been asked similarly a lot of times but I'm really struggling here. Its a simple thing I need to do: I would like to post a message onto a users wall saying "I scored 8/10 on objects game" then a URL Thats it. I don't mind if facebook needs to authenticate and then post the message. and I really don't want to have to use the full API - as I don't want to handle user login details. Is it possible using the new Graph API and javascript. Uber thanks guys this'll allow me to sleep tonight.

  • post commit hook fail

    - by jarad mayers
    I have Master/Slave setup using Win2k8R with SVN 1.6.9 and using TortoiseSVN 1.6.7. The access is through Apache and using http. Everything works but when I commit I get the following message: Error: post-commit hook failed (exit code 1) with output: Error: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. This happen when using multiple TortoiseSVN dialog for committing the files in rapid succession. If I use one TortoiseSVN dialog and wait till the commit reply is back then I won't see the problem. In other words, committing one at the time cause no issue. The post-commit script output is logged. Even though I get the above error but when I check the Master and Slave repository the files have been replicated okay with no issue. I am wondering how this issue can be solved.

  • Full page reload on Post/Redirect/Get ignoring cache control

    - by Kristof Neirynck
    I have a page that loads a lot of images, css and javascript. I've added a far future Expires header and set Cache-Control to public on these external dependencies so they should be cached. But every time I do a Post/Redirect/Get chrome tries to load these again. This behavior is very similar to reloading the page. I've added ETags and handle the If-None-Match header which helps a bit, but it still generates too many useless requests. How do I tell chrome and safari to get the files from cache? chrome NOK safari NOK firefox OK ie OK Also see Full page reload on Post/Redirect/Get ignoring cache control on the google support forum.

  • php cURL POST how to follow location

    - by webfac
    Hi Guys, I am in a bit of a rut with a cURL issue. The post works greate, the data is POSTED just fine and received ok, but the url of the posted page never appears in the browser after the cURL session is executed, for example look at the following code: $ch = curl_init("http://localhost/eterniti/cart-step-1.php"); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HEADER, false); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, "error=1&em=$em&fname=$fname&lname=$lname&email1=$email1&email2=$email2&code=$code&area=$area&number=$num&mobile=$mobile&address1=$address1&address2=$address2&address3=$address3&suburb=$suburb&postcode=$postcode&country=$country"); curl_exec($ch); curl_close($ch); The post works fine and I am taken to the cart-step-1.php where I can process the posted data, HOWEVER the location in the URL address bar of the browser remains that of the script page, in this case proc_xxxxxx.php Any ideas how to get the URL address to reflect the page I am actually POSTED to? Thanks a mill

  • Ruby Oauth File upload/Multipart POST request

    - by Jonas Söderström
    Hi I've been looking at this for a couple of hours now and haven't found a solution. Is there a way to upload a file using OAuth-Ruby? When I send a normal request, everything works but adding a file as a parameter makes the signature invalid. Example: @access_token.post("http://.../imageresource", {:name=>"awesome cat"}) works great but gives me: <error> <message>images/POST: Request has neither file data nor a fileUrl from which to download data</message> </error> Any thoughts on this? Thanks,

  • Java HttpURLConnection bekommt keine cookies

    - by TeNNoX
    ich versuche über eine HttpURLConnection einen Login auf einer Webseite durchzuführen, und davon dann die cookies zu erhalten... Bei meinen Testseiten auf einem eigenen Server geht es problemlos, ich sende "a=3&b=5" und als cookie erhalte ich "8", also die Summe. Wenn ich dies allerdings auf der gewollten Seite anwende, kommt einfach nur die Seite, als ob ich gar nichts per POST gesendet hätte... :( Generelle Verbesserungsvorschläge sind auch erwünscht! :) Mein Code: HttpURLConnection conn = (HttpURLConnection) new URL(url).openConnection(); conn.setDoInput(true); conn.setDoOutput(true); conn.setRequestMethod("POST"); conn.setRequestProperty("useragent", "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0"); conn.setRequestProperty("Connection", "keep-alive"); DataOutputStream out = new DataOutputStream(conn.getOutputStream()); out.writeBytes("USER=tennox&PASS=*****"); out.close(); BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(conn.getInputStream())); String line; String response = new String(); while ((line = in.readLine()) != null) { response = response + line + "\n"; } in.close(); System.out.println("headers:"); int i = 0; String header; while ((header = conn.getHeaderField(i)) != null) { String key = conn.getHeaderFieldKey(i); System.out.println(((key == null) ? "" : key + ": ") + header); i++; } String cookies = conn.getHeaderField("Set-Cookie"); System.out.println("\nCookies: \"" + cookies + "\"");

  • Why would some $_POST variables go missing for a form with PHP?

    - by Chad Johnson
    Sometimes, multiple times a day in fact, users of my web application are submitting a certain form which has about a dozen form fields, half of which are hidden fields, and half of the $_POST data is simply not present in the processing script. Note that the fields that are not present are at the very bottom of the form. I know this because this raises a fatal error, and an email is dispatched to me which includes the post data. And of course, neither I nor any of the developers on my team can reproduce the problem. Flash is involved in the process, as I'm using a library called Uploadify to display a progress meter. Here is the flow...does anyone have ANY ideas at all why some of the post data would be getting wiped out? User visits edit screen for a page in the CMS I am using. Record id for the page is put into a form as a hidden value. User clicks the Uploadify browse button and selects a file (only single file selection is allowed). User clicks Submit button for my form. jQuery intercepts the form submit action, triggers Uploadify to start uploading, and returns false for the submit action (manually cancelling the form submit event so that Uploadify can take over). Uploadify uploads to a custom process script. Uploadify finishes uploading and triggers the Javascript completion callback. The Javascript callback calls $('#myForm').submit() to submit the form. This happens on multiple browsers (Firefox 3.5, 3.6, Safari, Internet Explorer 7, 8) and multiple platforms (Mac OS 10.5, 10.6 and Windows XP, 7).

  • Using MinHash to find similiarities between 2 images

    - by Sung Meister
    I am using MinHash algorithm to find similar images between images. I have run across this post, How can I recognize slightly modified images? which pointed me to MinHash algorithm. Being a bit mathematically challenged, I was using a C# implementation from this blog post, Set Similarity and Min Hash. But while trying to use the implementation, I have run into 2 problems. What value should I set universe value to? When passing image byte array to HashSet, it only contains distinct byte values; thus comparing values from 1 ~ 256. What is this universe in MinHash? And what can I do to improve the C# MinHash implementation? Since HashSet<byte> contains values upto 256, similarity value always come out to 1. Here is the source that uses the C# MinHash implementation from Set Similarity and Min Hash: class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { var imageSet1 = GetImageByte(@".\Images\01.JPG"); var imageSet2 = GetImageByte(@".\Images\02.TIF"); //var app = new MinHash(256); var app = new MinHash(Math.Min(imageSet1.Count, imageSet2.Count)); double imageSimilarity = app.Similarity(imageSet1, imageSet2); Console.WriteLine("similarity = {0}", imageSimilarity); } private static HashSet<byte> GetImageByte(string imagePath) { using (var fs = new FileStream(imagePath, FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read)) using (var br = new BinaryReader(fs)) { //List<int> bytes = br.ReadBytes((int)fs.Length).Cast<int>().ToList(); var bytes = new List<byte>(br.ReadBytes((int) fs.Length).ToArray()); return new HashSet<byte>(bytes); } } }

  • Form data sent to Node via Post is undefined

    - by user185812
    I know this has been asked countless times on here, however I tried all the solutions and am still having the issue. Most people say to set the content-type (which I did) and to name the inputs that I wish to Post to node. I have done both of these things, yet still get "undefined" when trying to send data from an HTML form to node. JADE Templating HTML Code (Sorry I can't seem to get the indenting to show up here, however I think I should leave the code intact when posting here instead of converting it to normal HTML so that if the error is in here, you are still able to help) Form(action="/registration", method="post", enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded") div(class="control-group-Username") label(class="control-group", for="username") Username: div.controls input#Username(id="Username", type="text", placeholder="Username Here", maxlength="23", name="username") //Other divs and stuff here button.btn#submit_button(type="submit") Submit app.js code /** * Module dependencies. */ express = require('express') , routes = require('./routes') , user = require('./routes/user') , http = require('http') , path = require('path'); app = express(); // all environments app.set('port', process.env.PORT || 3000); app.set('views', __dirname + '/views'); app.set('view engine','jade'); app.use(express.favicon()); app.use(express.logger('dev')); app.use(express.bodyParser()); app.use(express.methodOverride()); app.use(express.cookieParser('your secret here')); app.use(express.session()); app.use(app.router); app.use(require('less-middleware')({ src: __dirname + '/public' })); app.use(express.static(path.join(__dirname, 'public'))); // development only if ('development' == app.get('env')) { app.use(express.errorHandler()); } app.use(express.static(__dirname + '/public')); app.get('/', routes.index); app.get('/users', user.list); app.get('/register', routes.register); http.createServer(app).listen(app.get('port'), function(){ console.log('Express server listening on port ' + app.get('port')); }); require('./Register.js'); register.js code app.post('/registration', function(req, res) { var Email=req.body.username console.log(username); });

  • How can I force asp.net webapi to always decode POST data as JSON

    - by Nathan Reed
    I getting some json data posted to my asp.net webapi, but the post parameter is always coming up null - the data is not being serialized correctly. The method looks something like this: public HttpResponseMessage Post(string id, RegistrationData registerData) It seems the problem is that the client (which I have no control over) is always sending the content-type as x-www-form-urlencoded, even though the content is actually json. This causes mvc to try to deserialize as form data, which fails. Is there anyway to get webapi to always deserialize as json, and to ignore the content-type header?

I don't know enough about headers etc... is this possible... can anyone link an example... by search skills just turned up how to use $_POST... Thanks...

  • Facebook calling Google App Engine code using GET instead of POST

    - by Nick Gotch
    I've been developing a Facebook app using Google App Engine in Python and the pyfacebook bindings. For weeks everything worked fine but suddenly it stopped. At first I thought it was a code change so I rolled back the entire dev directory to a version I knew worked, but still it failed. It's possible a change I made to the application's settings caused the issue but, if so, I can't figure out what. I've figured out that the problem is that instead of calling the post(self) method of my Main class, Facebook is calling using a GET. Does anyone know why Facebook would use a GET method instead of a POST? It's an IFrame app. Thanks,

  • Click event on submit buttons only fires once

    - by Chris
    I subscribe to the click event on all submit buttons on my page once loaded. All buttons fire off the correct event when clicked, but this only works once. If you click any two buttons in a row the second button submits the form normally as opposed to running the script. What am I doing wrong?. Note: I load the form data from "myurl" using .load() then hook up to the submit buttons' click events in the complete event. $(document).ready(function() { //Load user content $("#passcontent").load("myurl", function() { //subscribe to click events for buttons to post the data back $('input[type=submit]').click(function() { return submitClick($(this)); }); }); }); function submitClick(submitButton) { submitButton.attr("disabled", true); alert(submitButton.closest("form").serialize()); $.post("myurl", submitButton.closest("form").serialize(), function(data) { alert("woop"); $("#passcontent").html(data); }); //Prevent normal form submission process from continuing return false; }

  • Post request with body_stream and parameters

    - by Damien MATHIEU
    Hello, I'm building some kind of proxy. When I call some url in a rack application, I forward that request to an other url. The request I forward is a POST with a file and some parameters. I want to add more parameters. But the file can be quite big. So I send it with Net::HTTP#body_stream instead of Net::HTTP#body. I get my request as a Rack::Request object and I create my Net::HTTP object with that. req = Net::HTTP::Post.new(request.path_info) req.body_stream = request.body req.content_type = request.content_type req.content_length = request.content_length http = Net::HTTP.new(@host, @port) res = http.request(req) I've tried several ways to add the proxy's parameters. But it seems nothing in Net::HTTP allows to add parameters to a body_stream request, only to a body one. Is there a simpler way to proxy a rack request like that ? Or a clean way to add my parameters to my request ?

  • Multiple key/value pairs in HTTP POST where key is the same name

    - by randombits
    I'm working on an API that accepts data from remote clients, some of which where the key in an HTTP POST almost functions as an array. In english what this means is say I have a resource on my server called "class". A class in this sense, is the type a student sits in and a teacher educates in. When the user submits an HTTP POST to create a new class for their application, a lot of the key value pairs look like: student_name: Bob Smith student_name: Jane Smith student_name: Chris Smith What's the best way to handle this on both the client side (let's say the client is cURL or ActiveResource, whatever..) and what's a decent way of handling this on the server-side if my server is a Ruby on Rails app? Need a way to allow for multiple keys with the same name and without any namespace clashing or loss of data.

  • My jquery AJAX POST requests works without sending an Authenticity Token (Rails)

    - by dchua
    Hi all, Is there any provisions in rails that would allow all AJAX POST requests from the site to pass without an authenticity_token? I have a Jquery POST ajax call that calls a controller method, but I did not put any authenticity code in it and yet the call succeeds. My ApplicationController does have 'request_forgery_protection' and I've changed config.action_controller.consider_all_requests_local to false in my environments/development.rb I've also searched my code to ensure that I was not overloading ajaxSend to send out authenticity tokens. Is there some mechanism in play that disables the check? Now I'm not sure if my CSRF protection is working or not. I'm using Rails 2.3.5.

  • Spring - Redirect after POST (even with validation errors)

    - by Taylor L
    I'm trying to figure out how to "preserve" the BindingResult so it can be used in a subsequent GET via the Spring <form:errors> tag. The reason I want to do this is because of Google App Engine's SSL limitations. I have a form which is displayed via HTTP and the post is to an HTTPS URL. If I only forward rather than redirect then the user would see the https://whatever.appspot.com/my/form URL. I'm trying to avoid this. Any ideas how to approach this? Below is what I'd like to do, but I only see validation errors when I use return "create". @RequestMapping(value = "/submit", method = RequestMethod.POST) public final String submit( @ModelAttribute("register") @Valid final Register register, final BindingResult binding) { if (binding.hasErrors()) { return "redirect:/register/create"; } return "redirect:/register/success"; }

  • URL encoded POST bad practice?

    - by StackedCrooked
    I am (just for fun) trying to implement a High Score web-service. I would like it be compatible with REST principles. I want to be able to add a new highscore using url parameters like this http://mydomain.com/hs/add&name=John&score=987. According to REST this must be done using a POST request. Which leads to empty POST request with all data contained in the URL parameters. Would this be considered a bad practice? Update Security is currently not a big concern.
