Hi.
Do you know how I can find out the default compiler compliance level that my Maven installation uses when nothing is defined in the maven-compiler-plugin?

When I click the start button (with or without debugging) in Visual Studio 2005, it launches the stand alone IE. My default browser in VS is set to the internal one. Is this normal behavior?
When I do "View in browser", it does launch the internal one.
When using stored procedures I am able to add default values to parameters, for example:
@name varchar(50) = NULL
Is is possible to do something similar when using a parameterized query in .NET.
Thanks
I am receiving a SecurityException since yesterday when I launch the service using signature protection level for permission with the default debug keystore. The strange thing is I wasn't receiving this error before yesterday and I didn't make any security related change.
On the other hand, my own keystore using for releases is still working good. Related AndroidManifest.xml part:
<permission android:name="com.my.app.privateservices"
android:protectionLevel="signature" />
<service android:name=".MyService"
android:permission="com.my.app.privateservices" />
i want to to pass class method as and a default argument to another class method, so that i can re-use the method as a @classmethod
@classmethod
class foo:
def func1(self,x):
do somthing;
def func2(self, aFunc = self.func1):
# make some a call to afunc
afunc(4)
this why when the method func2 is called within the class aFunc defaults to self.func1, but i can call this same function from outside of the class and pass it a different function at the input.
i get
NameError: name 'self' is not defined
I have a .net Console Application called FooConsole. When I build and deploy it, I see that the App.config file from my project is deployed to FooConsole.exe.config.
How can I deploy the .config file to Foo.config instead of FooConsole.exe.config and still have it read as the default .config file?
I have a dropdown list (FK) which I would like to set and display a default value based on a login userid. Can you please tell me how to do it? I only want to affect the dropdown filter that appear at the top above the Gridview.
Thanks

Hi
I am running eclipse on windows XP.
I am trying to make changes in Default Contact Application and make it a separate apk file.
But due to dependancies on other libraries it's showing me compile errors.
How can this be resolved? So that I can make a new contact application using current code base.
Thanks,
Saurabh
I'm trying to customise the mark-up of the default search results page in Drupal 6. Specifically I'd like to remove the search box and the title from the page - I know I can hide it with CSS, but I'd rather it wasn't rendered in the first place.
Ideally, in the same why that you theme a particular content type node by copying the node.tpl.php and renaming it to something like node-blog.tpl.php and then amending the mark-up accordingly - is there an equivalent way to do this for the search results page?
I have a scrollview containing a ListBox. I would like the scrollview to scroll all the way to the bottom by default when the view has been loaded! This because the most recent element is always the last element in the ListBox.
Is there an easy way to achieve this behavior?
Thanks
So the other day my C# application crashed. Usually, with a .NET application, if you have an unhandled exception you get a nice error message with a stack trace.
However, this time, I got a different dialog that just told me there was an error and offered to attach a Debugger, but there was no stack trace in the dialog and the machine it was running on had no debugger installed.
What gives? Why don't I see the default .NET exception handler?
In Javascript, how can you set the event handler of a DOM element to default behavior?
For example, suppose I set the onkeypress event of an input element:
elem.onkeypress = function() { alert("Key pressed!"); }
Later, how can I remove this event? Is it okay to simply set the onkeypress property to null? I tried that and it works, but I don't know if it is the proper way to do this.
By default, when SSH'ing into a client I am automatically placed into /home/marco/ but instead I would like to be placed into /something/other. I would prefer to keep my home directory where it is, but I would like to be automatically routed to /something/other/
Is this possible?
*The client runs Debian 5.04
I'm using VWD Express 2008 to develop a WPF Browser Application. When I start debugging, it launches the XBAP in my default browser, which is Opera. Obviously, XBAPs don't work in Opera, so I have to repeatedly right-click on the document to open in IE.
Is there any way to change the settings for PresentationHost.exe so that it always opens with IE? A registry setting, perhaps?
In MATLAB, when you click File - New - Function M-File, you get a file with the following contents:
function [ output_args ] = Untitled( input_args )
%UNTITLED Summary of this function goes here
% Detailed explanation goes here
end
Is it possible to override this behaviour, and specify your own text?
(The motivation is that I'm trying to persuade my colleagues to document their m-files more thoroughly, and having default text for them to fill in might encourage them.)
As far as I know, the copy constructor must be of the Form T(const T&) or T(T&). What if I wanted to add default arguments to the signature?
T(const T&, double f = 1.0);
Would that be standards compliant?
I have a TextBox that I wish to reset its Background property to its default value after changing it to a different colour.
I have tried setting it to SystemColors.WindowBrush, but then, if the Display Settings are updated to change this value, it doesn't get dynamically reflected in the TextBox (it does normally if TextBox.Background hasn't been touched).
Any idea how to do this?
How can I emulate Expression.Default (new in .NET 4.0) in 3.5?
Do I need to manually check the expression type and use different code for reference and value types?
Hello,
Could anyone point exactly where MSDN says thet every user stored procedure returns 0 by default if no error happens? In other words, could I be sure that example code given below when being a stored procedure
IF someStatement
BEGIN
RETURN 1
END
should always return zero if someStatement is false and no error occurs?
I know that it actually works this way, but I failed to find any explicit statement about this from Microsoft.
In a LINQ to entities expression like this:
var vote = (from vote in db.Vote where
vote.Voter.Id == user.Id
select v).FirstOrDefault();
how do you you add a DefaultIfEmpty so that when there's no vote I'd get a default value?
Is there a way that the default NHibernate.Caches.SysCache.SysCacheProvider expiry time of 5 minutes can be configured without the use of cache regions? Is there a hibernate property that can be set from config?
The sun grid engine defaults to csh, and you have to put this: #$ -S /bin/sh into scripts to avoid it. What global configuration setting would change this default?
In Drupal 6 - Our default select box is the "Ajax - autosuggest" variation. This shows up in Location and Views modules amoung other places.
Is there a place where we can set this to the regular select-dropdown type of select box?
