    Hi! I would like to set two values for two different nodes from user input in XForms. I am curious about how this is done, if at all possible.     When I try to connect to an unavailable machine, I get an EndpointNotFoundException but it takes too long (about 20 seconds). Setting closeTimeout, openTimeout, receiveTimeout or sendTimeout has no effect. Can I get that exception earlier?

    I've searched everywhere, but I can't seem to find any help... I have some textboxes that are created dynamically via JS, so I need to bind all of their classes to an autocomplete. As a result, I need to use the new .live() option. As an example, to bind all items with a class of .foo now and future created: $('.foo').live('click', function(){ alert('clicked'); }); It takes (and behaves) the same as .bind(). However, I want to bind an autocomplete... This doesn't work: $('.foo').live('autocomplete', function(event, ui){ source: 'url.php' // (surpressed other arguments) }); How can I use .live() to bind autocomplete? UPDATE Figured it out with Framer: $(function(){ $('.search').live('keyup.autocomplete', function(){ $(this).autocomplete({ source : 'url.php' }); }); });

  • MVC EditorFor bind to type in array

    I have a ViewModel that, among other properties, contains an array of 'EmailAddress' objects. EmailAddress itself has properties such as "Address", and "IsPrimary". My view model breakdown is: public class UserDetailsViewModel { public BUser User { get; set; } public string[] Roles { get; set; } public EmailAddress[] EmailAddresses { get; set; } } I am showing a "User Details" page that is pretty standard. For example, I'm displaying data using @Html.DisplayFor(model => model.User.UserName) and @Html.DisplayFor(model => model.User.Comment) I also have a section on the page that lists all of the EmailAddress objects associated with the user: @if(Model.EmailAddresses.Length > 0) { foreach (var address in Model.EmailAddresses) { <div> @Html.DisplayFor(model => address.Address) </div> } } else { <div class="center">User does not have any email addresses.</div> } My problem is that I would like to show an "Add Email Address" form above the list of email addresses. I thought I would take the "normal" approach thusly: @using(Html.BeginForm(new { id=Model.User.UserName, action="AddUserEmailAddress" })) { <text>Address:</text> @Html.EditorFor(model => ** HERE I AM STUCK **) <input type="submit" value="Add Email" class="button" /> } As you may be able to tell, I am stuck here. I've tried model => Model.EmailAddresses[0] and model => Model.EmailAddresses.FirstOrDefault(). Both of these have failed horribly. I am sure that I am going about this all wrong. I've even thought of adding a "dummy" property to my ViewModel of type EmailAddress just so that I can bind to that in my EditorFor - but that seems to be a really bad hack. There has to be something simple that I'm overlooking! I would appreciate any help anyone can offer with this matter. Thank you in advance!

  • Parsing/executing C# code in C++ (on Linux)?

    I want to be able to add scripting functionality to my application. One of the language bindings I am considering is C# (and possibly VB.Net). The challenge is this: My application is developed in C++ My application runs on Linux I am aware of Mono, but I dont know (as yet), what is required to allow my C++ appliaction (running on linux), to be scriptable with .Net languages. Is this feasible? Am I crazy for even thinking of doing this? If I'm not crazy, can anyone provide some guidelines on how to go about implementing this? Help, tips, ideas, suggestions anyone?

I can connect to it and execute queries without issues, but for some reason, the "Output - JavaDB Database Process" pane within Netbeans keeps displaying Security manager installed using the Basic server security policy. Could not listen on port 1527 on host localhost: java.net.BindException: Address already in use How do I find out what process is already using, or bound to that port?     Hi, I'm using: echo $javascript->link('tools.overlay-1.0.4', false); which is initialized with: $(".overlay_popup").overlay({ expose: '#000000', close: '.close_overlay', finish: { top: 'center', left: 'center', absolute: false } }); I call the overlay popup box like this: echo $html->link( "add part", array('controller'=>'garage_parts', 'action'=>'addfrompartlist', $gcar['GarageCar']['id'], $gcar['GarageCar']['car_id']), array('class'=>'js-ajax overlay_popup', 'id'=>'add_part_overlay', 'rel'=>'.overlay_container') ); This all works fine and dandy, however I have an ajax function that dynamically adds the "add part" hyperlink button shown above and I have no idea how to bind this new button to the overlay. Normally, I would use something like this: $(".overlay_popup").bind("click", function(){... but this didn't work for the overlay. Any ideas on how I can successfully do this?

    I have an EditorFor: <%: Html.EditorFor(model => model.Client, "ClientTemplate", new { editing = false })%> This will bind coming down to the view fine (as expected) but will not bind bind back when the model gets posted. This is due to the form id's not being prefixed with "Client." Usually in this situation i just pass in model and then bind the inputs to model.Client.PropertyName in the Template but this is not an option in this case as the template is used on two different viewmodels (that have client on). Any suggestions on getting this to bind properly? Many thanks, Kohan.

In the search dialog I have a combobox as follows: comboImp = new CCombo(grpColSpet, SWT.BORDER | SWT.READ_ONLY); comboImp.setBounds(556, 46, 184, 27); comboImpViewer = new ComboViewer(comboImp); comboImpViewer.setContentProvider(new ArrayContentProvider()); comboImpViewer.setInput(ImpContentProvider.getInstance().getImps()); comboImpViewer.setLabelProvider(new LabelProvider() { @Override public String getText(Object element) { return ((Imp)element).getImpName(); } }); Imp is a database entity, ManyToOne to the main entity which is searched, and ImpContentProvider is the model class which speaks to embedded sqlite database via jpa/hibernate. This combobox is supposed to contain all instances of Imp, but to also let empty selection; it's value is bound to a service bean as follows: IObservableValue comboImpSelectionObserveWidget = ViewersObservables.observeSingleSelection(comboImpViewer); IObservableValue filterByImpObserveValue = BeansObservables.observeValue(searchPrep, "imp"); bindingContext.bindValue(comboImpSelectionObserveWidget, filterByImpObserveValue , null, null); As soon as the user clicks on the combo, a selection (first element) is made: I can see the call to a selectionlistener i added on the viewer. My question is: after a selection has been made, how do I let the user change his mind and have an empty selection in the combobox? should I add a "fake" empty instance of Imp to the List returned by the ImpContentProvider? or should I implement an alternative to ArrayContentProvider? and one additional related question is: why calling deselectAll() and clearSelection() on the combo does NOT set a null value to the bound bean?

  • How to call/use a value converter inverted

    Is it possible to use a converter the "wrong" way around? In other words: can I swap source and target? Here's an example: I created a simple IValueConverter called NullableDecimalToStringConverter which converts an input if "" into null and a number into decimal. I use it to bind a TextBox in my WPF view to a decimal? property in my ViewModel. In another context I'd like to convert a NullableDecimal into a String in the same way... Is it possible to simply use the existing NullableDecimalToStringConverter inverted? One method is to use the parameter of the converter to tell the converter which way it should convert. But is there a .NET build in way to do such a thing? Another way would be to build a base class with both conversion methods and two separate converter which call the base class methods...
