Main post shows the problem as an example scenario. 1) Now the problem is find and replace some string without considering the tags. The tags may shows up within a single word. String may contain multiple word. Tag only appear in the content string or the document. The search phrase never contain any tags. We can easily remove all tags and do some text operation. But here the another problem shows up. 2) The tags must be preserve, even after replacing the text. That is what the example shows. Thank you Again for helping

    I'm having trouble with ajaxStart/ajaxStop. In the following code, the ajaxStart/ajaxStop code is only ever called once (the very first time).   • jQuery ajax not preloading images

    I have a list of galleries, when you click on the title of a gallery it pulls in the contents (HTML with images). When the content is pulled in it preloads the html but not the images, any ideas?   • Can't get focus on a TextBox inside a ListBox using Silverlight

    I'm having a little trouble in silverlight with a listBox containing databound textBox elements. The items display correctly in the list and the textBox is populated correctly but I can't get focus on the text box in the list. If I hover over the edges of the textBox it highlights but it won't let me click into it to edit the text. Any ideas?   • Best way to store and deliver files on a CMS

    Hi all.. First of all, this isn't another question about storing images on DB vs file system. I'm already storing the images on the file system. I'm just struggling to find a better way to show them to all my users. I' currently using this system. I generate a random filename using md5(uniqueid()), the problem that I'm facing, is that the image is then presented with a link like this: <img src="/_Media/0027a0af636c57b75472b224d432c09c.jpg" /> As you can see this isn't the prettiest way to show a image ( or a file ), and the name doesn't say anything about the image. I've been working with a CMS system at work, that stores all uploaded files on a single table, to access that image it uses something like this: <img src="../getattachment/94173104-e03c-499b-b41c-b25ae05a8ee1/Menu-1/Escritorios.aspx?width=175&height=175" /> As you can see the path to the image, now has a meaning compared to the other one, the problem is that this put's a big strain in the DB, for example, in the last site I made, I have an area that has around 60 images, to show the 60 images, I would have to do at least 60 individual query's to the database, besides the other query's to retrieve the various content on the page. I think you understand my dilemma, has anyone gone trough this problem, that can give me some pointers on how to solve this? Thanks..

ButtonReorderViewController contains 1 button and 1 picture. Button in AdminViewController tie to an event call goToReorderButton. The content of goToReorderButton are below: ButtonReorderViewController *buttonReorder = [[ButtonReorderViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"ButtonReorderViewController" bundle:[NSBundle mainBundle]]; UINavigationController *navController = [[UINavigationController alloc] initWithRootViewController:buttonReorder]; //Add a Navigation Controller to the root view [navController setNavigationBarHidden:TRUE]; buttonReorder = (ButtonReorderViewController *) navController; [[buttonReorder view] setFrame:CGRectMake(0, -20, 320, 470)]; [self.view addSubview:buttonReorder.view]; I use UINavigationController to allow me to swipe left and right.So I am in AdminViewController, and I click on goToReorderButton, it load ButtonReorderViewController. I am able to swipe left and right (awesome !!!) So I click the button in ButtonReorderViewController call goToAdmin, simply to go back to the AdminViewController -(void) goToAdmin{ [self.view removeFromSuperview]; } However, as soon as I go back to AdminViewController, I cant click anything at all. The program does not seg fault, it just that I cant click the button at all. if I remove the line buttonReorder = (ButtonReorderViewController *) navController; inside goToReorderButton, then everything work fine. Any idea how to fix this?

    I have a js function for playing any given sound using the Audio interface (creating a new instance for every call). This works quite well, until about the 32nd call (sometimes less). This issue is directly related to the release of the Audio instance. I know this because I've allowed time for the GC in Chromium to run and it will allow me to play another 32 or so sounds again. Here's an example of what I'm doing: <html><head> <script language="javascript"> function playSound(url) { snd = new Audio(url); snd.play(); delete snd; snd = null; } </script> </head> <body> <a href="#" onclick="playSound('blah.mp3');">Play sound</a> </body></html> I also have this, which works well for pages that have less than 32 playSound calls: var AudioPlayer = { cache: {}, play: function(url) { if (!AudioPlayer.cache[url]) AudioPlayer.cache[url] = new Audio(url); AudioPlayer.cache[url].play(); } }; But this will not work for what I want to do (dynamically replace a div with other content (from separate files), which have even more sounds on them - 1. memory usage would easily skyrocket, 2. many sounds will never play). I need a way to release the sound immediately. Is it possible to do this? I have found no free/close/unload method for the Audio interface. The pages will be viewed locally, so the constant loading of sounds is not a big factor at all (and most sounds are rather short).

    I'm looking for a language + GUI toolkit for rapidly prototyping utility applications for multimedia installations. I've been working with Max/MSP/Jitter for many years, but I'd like to add a text-based language to my 'arsenal' for tasks apart from 'content production'. (When it comes to actual media synthesis, my choices are clear [SuperCollider + MSP for audio, Jitter + Quartz + openFrameworks for video]). I'm looking for something that maintains some of the advantages of Max, but is lower-level, faster, more cross-platfrom (Linux support), and text-based. Integration with powerful sound/video libraries is not a requirement. Some requirements: Cross-platform (at least OSX and Linux, Windows is a plus) Fast and easy cross-platform GUIs with no platform-specific modification GUI code separated from backend code as much as possible Good for interfacing with external serial devices (micro-controllers) Good network support (UDP/TCP) Good libraries for multi-media (video, sound, OSC) are a plus Asynchronous synchronous UNIX integration is a plus The options that come to mind: AS3/Flex (not a fan of AS3 or the idea of running in the Flash Player) openFrameworks (C++ framework, perhaps a bit too low level [looking for fast development time] and biased toward video work) Java w/ Processing libraries (like openFrameworks, just slower) Python + Qt (is Qt appropriate for rapid prototyping?)   • How to access and run field events from extension js?

    I have an extension that helps in submitting forms automatically for a process at work. We are running into a problem with dual select boxes where one option is selected and then that selection changes another field's options. Since setting an option selected property to true doesn't trigger the field's onchange event I am trying to do so through code. The problem I've run into is that if I try to access or run functions on the field object from the extension, I get the error Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component is not available" nsresult: "0x80040111 (NS_ERROR_NOT_AVAILABLE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://webformsidebar/content/webformsidebar.js :: WebFormSidebar_FillProcess :: line 499" data: no] the line causing the error is... if (typeof thisField.onchange === 'function') The line right before it works just fine... thisField.options[t].selected=true; ...so I'm not sure why this is resulting in such an error. What surprises me most I guess is that checking for the existence of the function leads to an error. It feels like the problem is related to the code running in the context of the extension instead of the browser window document. If so, is there any way to call a function in the browser window context instead? Do I need to actually inject code into the page somehow? Any other ideas? Thanks

  • How to store a file on a server(web container) through a Java EE web application?

    I have developed a Java EE web application. This application allows a user to upload a file with the help of a browser. Once the user has uploaded his file, this application first stores the uploaded file on the server (on which it is running) and then processes it. At present, I am storing the file on the server as follows: try { FormFile formFile = programForm.getTheFile(); // formFile represents the uploaded file String path = getServlet().getServletContext().getRealPath("") + "/" + formFile.getFileName(); System.out.println(path); file = new File(path); outputStream = new FileOutputStream(file); outputStream.write(formFile.getFileData()); } where, the formFile represents the uploaded file. Now, the problem is that it is running fine on some servers but on some servers the getServlet().getServletContext().getRealPath("") is returning null so the final path that I am getting is null/filename and the file doesn't store on the server. When I checked the API for ServletContext.getRealPath() method, I found the following: public java.lang.String getRealPath(java.lang.String path) Returns a String containing the real path for a given virtual path. For example, the path "/index.html" returns the absolute file path on the server's filesystem would be served by a request for "http://host/contextPath/index.html", where contextPath is the context path of this ServletContext. The real path returned will be in a form appropriate to the computer and operating system on which the servlet container is running, including the proper path separators. This method returns null if the servlet container cannot translate the virtual path to a real path for any reason (such as when the content is being made available from a .war archive). So, Is there any other way by which I can store files on those servers also which is returning null for getServlet().getServletContext().getRealPath("")

  • How do set up jquery to exclude classes in a function?

    I essentially only understand how to read bits of javascript and make modifications. I am using grid-slider, a script I purchased, but the code writer is mia at the moment, so hopefully someone here can help me. Basically, it's a slider and there are options to have links open like normal or to have links open in a panel on the same page. I want some links to open in a panel and others to open in the parent window. It seems to me that all that would be required to do this would be to activate the panel display function (which I've done) and then set up an exclude function to exclude certain uls or lis with a specific class from the function.   • Custom webserver caching

    I'm working with a custom webserver on an embedded system and having some problems correctly setting my HTTP Headers for caching. Our webserver is generating all dynamic content as XML and we're using semi-static XSL files to display it with some dynamic JSON requests thrown in for good measure along with semi-static images. I say "semi-static" because the problems occur when we need to do a firmware update which might change the XSL and image files. Here's what needs to be done: cache the XSL and image files and do not cache the XML and JSON responses. I have full control over the HTTP response and am currently: Using ETags with the XSL and image files, using the modified time and size to generate the ETag Setting Cache-Control: no-cache on the XML and JSON responses As I said, everything works dandy until a firmware update when the XSL and image files are sometimes cached. I've seen it work fine with the latest versions of Firefox and Safari but have had some problems with IE. I know one solution to this problem would be simply rename the XSL and image files after each version (eg. logo-v1.1.png, logo-v1.2.png) and set the Expires header to a date in the future but this would be difficult with the XSL files and I'd like to avoid this. Note: There is a clock on the unit but requires the user to set it and might not be 100% reliable which is what might be causing my caching issues when using ETags. What's the best practice that I should employ? I'd like to avoid as many webserver requests as possible but invalidating old XSL and image files after a software update is the #1 priority.

  • Redirect parent of a page from a cfwindow

    Hi All, I have a page with cfwindow that require the user to be logged in to view the content on the page. The problem at the moment is if the user logs into the site, then does nothing and the session times out, I have no way that I can think of to redirect the parent of the window to the login screen when the user opens it. So far I have tried using cflocation but that has no way of specifying the container that should be redirected (i.e. the page in the window is being redirected but not the windows parent). I have also thought about using a hidden input with a value based on the session which is then check with Body onLoad event but currently this doesnt work with how the pages have been setup. The last option I have is to check the session variable on loading the window and then closing it if the user is not logged in, which will cause the parent to refresh and redirect to login anyway. However I cant find a way to close a cfwindow without using javascript. Thanks for any help you can give.

    I am a sharepoint newbee and am having trouble getting any search results to return using the search API in Sharepoint 2010 Foundation. Here are the steps I have taken so far. The Service Sharepoint Foundation Search v4 is running and logged in as Local Service Under Team Site - Site Settings - Search and Offline Availability, Indexing Site Content is enabled. Running the PowerShell script Get-SPSearchServiceInstance returns TypeName : SharePoint Foundation Search Description : Search index file on the search server Id : 91e01ce1-016e-44e0-a938-035d37613b70 Server : SPServer Name=V-SP2010 Service : SPSearchService Name=SPSearch4 IndexLocation : C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Exten sions\14\Data\Applications ProxyType : Default Status : Online When I do a search using the search textbox on the team site I get a results as I would expect. Now, when I try to duplicate the search results using the Search API I either receive an error or 0 results.     Let me try to explain my situation: We are using a CMS which 'bakes' a website, and you publish it to a webserver. The published site contains only static HTML ( or XML ) pages ( generated from the content in the CMS database ). I imported an XML file with the names and phone numbers from the company phone directory. Using only XSLT, can I create a way to search that directory? For example, if my XML file, directory.xml looks like this: <directory> <person> <fname>Ryan</fname> <lname>Purple</lname> <phone>887 778 5544</phone> </person> <person> <fname>Tanya</fname> <lname>Orange</lname> <phone>887 998 5541</phone> </person> <directory> Can I create a way to search for a person with the last name starting with "Pur" ? Can I pass a parameter to the XSLT? Can I search the XML tree to match the string in the parameter?

  • .net 4.5 Asp Mvc -> Error 403.14- IIS 7 - Windows Server 2008 R2

    When I want to deploy an MVC 4 (.net 4.5) application to my iis i got the 403.14 calling me that the content ist not browseable. This also occurs when i deploy the unchanged mvc 4 template. when using the mvc 4 template with .net 4.0 everything works. I checked the other posts but can't figure out the solution. ist set i ran aspnet_regiss -i which completed without any errors. the only strange thing is that .net 4.5 is installed in the .net 4.0 directory %windows%/microsoft.net/Framework64/4.0.30319 From this folder i also ran aspnet_regiis. to ensure that 4.5 is installed i restarted the .net 4.5 setup and it tells me taht it is installes Also the apppools show me 4.0.30319 as version. There is an other application targeting mvc with 4.5 which runs. but i don't know wether it was created with a 4.0 templated and retargeted to 4.5 Any hints? The app.config is the unchanged default from the mvc 4 template. I just tested to create a subfolder which i convert to an application. placing the site there makes it working. But why not on root folder?

    I am trying to create a tabbed interface using the prototype helper method "replace_html." I have three different partials I am working with. The first one is the 'main tab' and it is loaded automatically like so: <div id = "grid"> <% things_today = things.find_things_today %> <%= render :partial => "/todaything", :collection => things_today, :as =>:thing %> </div> ...which works fine. Similarly, I have a _tomorrowthing partial which would replace the content in the 'grid' div like so: <%things_tomorrow = things.find_things_tomorrow%> <%= link_to_function('Tomorrow',nil, :id=>'tab') do |page| page.replace_html 'grid' , :partial => '/tomorrowthing',:collection => things_tomorrow, :as => :thing end %> If I click on this tab nothing happens at all. Using firebug, the only errors I find are a missing ) after argument list which is contained in the Element.update block where the link_to_function is called. What am I doing wrong?
