Form gets submitted Multiple times

While clicking inside the form , the form automatically tried to resubmit , I cannot figure out which part of the code causes it to behave like this . In the createTable function , a table is created after the domain is given . But I am unable to select any of the controls in the output . Loop results executing twice

I creating a simple site with PHP where the users can submit blogs and other users (who are logged in) can post comments on them. I have made a link called "comments" below each blog that when clicked will show / hide all the comments relevant to the specific blog (also if the user is logged in, it will show a form field in which they can submit new comments). So basically each blog will have multiple comments. I have done two different codes for this but they both have the same problem that each comment appears twice (everything else works fine). PHP & MySQL pagination display problem.

I asked a similar question like this yesterday but after waiting for ever I figured out part of the problem but now I'm stuck again I'm trying to display ... when the search results are to long because my pagination links will keep on displaying and will not stop until every link is displayed on the page. Break in Class Module vs. Break on Unhandled Errors (VB6 Error Trapping, Options Setting in IDE)

Basically, I'm trying to understand the difference between the "Break in Class Module" and "Break on Unhandled Errors" that appear in the Visual Basic 6.0 IDE under the following path: Tools --> Options --> General --> Error Trapping The three options appear to be: Break on All Errors Break in Class Module Break on Unhandled Errors Now, apparently, according to MSDN, the second option (Break in Class Module) really just means "Break on Unhandled Errors in Class Modules". Also, this option appears to be set by default (ie: I think its set to this out of the box). What I am trying to figure out is, if I have the second option selected, do I get the third option (Break on Unhandled Errors) for free? In that, does it come included by default for all scenarios outside of the Class Module spectrum? To advise, I don't have any Class Modules in my currently active project. I have .bas modules though. Also, is it possible that by Class Mdules they may be referring to normal .bas Modules as well? (this is my second sub-question). Basically, I just want the setting to ensure there won't be any surprises once the exe is released. I want as many errors to display as possible while I am developing, and non to be displayed when in release mode. Normally, I have two types of On Error Resume Next on my forms where there isn't explicit error handling, they are as follows: On Error Resume Next ' REQUIRED On Error Resume Next ' NOT REQUIRED The required ones are things like, checking to see if an array has any length, if a call to its UBound errors out, that means it has no length, if it returns a value 0 or more, then it does have length (and therefore, exists). These types of Error Statements need to remain active even while I am developing. However, the NOT REQUIRED ones shouldn't remain active while I am developing, so I have them all commented out to ensure that I catch all the errors that exist. Once I am ready to release the exe, I do a CTRL+H to find all occurrences of: 'On Error Resume Next ' NOT REQUIRED (You may have noticed they are commented out)... And replace them with: On Error Resume Next ' NOT REQUIRED ... The uncommented version, so that in release mode, if there are any leftover errors, they do not show to users. expanding/collapsing div using jQuery

I'm trying to expand and collapse a <div> by clicking some text inside the <div>. The behavior right now is very odd. For example, if I click the text after the <div> is expanded... the <div> will collapse and then expand again. Also, if I click somewhere inside the div after it is expanded, it will collapse again, and I think that is because I'm triggering the animation since the <div> being animated is inside the wrapper <div>. Why isn't the inline element inheriting height from its children?

I'm trying to make a rather complicated grid of images and information (almost like Pinterest). Specifically, I'm trying to inline position one set of <ul>s right after another. I have it working but one aspect is causing issues so I'm trying to ask about this small piece to avoid the complication of the whole problem. In order to horizontally align the images and their information we are using inline <li>s with other inline-block level elements inside of them. Everything works correctly for the most part except that the <li>s have almost no height. I know that changing the <li> to display:inline-block solves this problem but that isn't feasible for other reasons. So first of all, I'm just looking to see if anyone understands why the inline <li> element doesn't have any height. I can't find anything in the spec that explains this. I know I can't add height to an inline element but any explanation as to why this is happening that might enable me to fix would be great. Secondly, if you inspect the elements using IE's Developer Mode you will see that although the background color is in the correct location, the actual location of the <li>'s bounding box is at the bottom of the container according to hovering over the element. I could deal with this problem if it was at the top in every browser but it apparently varies. NOTE: I don't really care about older browsers in this case but I don't use HTML5 or JavaScript positioning. Thanks.

"Too much recursion" error when loading the same page with a hash

Hi, I have a site w/ an image gallery ("Portfolio") page. There is drop-down navigation that allows a user to view a specific image in the portfolio from any page on the site. The links in the navigation use a hash, and that hash is read and converted into a string of an image filename. The image src attribute on the /portfolio/ page is then swapped out with the new image filename. This works fine if I'm clicking the dropdown link from a page OTHER THAN the /portfolio/ page itself. However if I take the same action from the /portfolio/ page, I get a "too much recursion" error in Firefox. Only Execute Code on Certain Requests Java

I am building a little API for class and the teacher supplied us with a link to a tutorial that provided a simple webserver that implements Runnable. I have already written some code that will parse arguments the arguments ( or at least get me the request string ) and some code that will return some simple xml. however I think certain requests like the one for the favicon are sent I think it is messing up my code. linked list problem (with insert)

The problem appears with the insert function that I wrote. 3 conditions must work, I tested b/w 1 and 2, b/w 2 and 3 and as last element, they worked. But b/w 3 and 4, it did not work. It only display up to the new added record, and did not show the fourth element. Efficiency is not my concern here (not yet). Please guide me through this debug process. Does anyone get zero-height select fields in Firefox 3.6.3?

If you open this HTML in Firefox 3.6.3 (confirmed in some earlier versions too), and click the drawStuff() link repeatedly, it doesn't render the contents of the last div consistently. Looking more closely it seems like it's rendering select fields with height=0. How to organize pictures on website using css? [on hold]

I am making a maze type of game using javascript and HTML and need some questions answered [on hold]

First off, i am a noob to JavaScript but am willing to learn. :) I found a simple JavaScript moment engine created by another member on this site. Using that i made it so my character can walk around within a rectangle/square shaped room. I want to make it so the character can walk through a "doorway" within a wall to the next room. Either that or make it so if the character moves over a certain image within the room it will take the player to another webpage in which the character "spawns" into the room and so on and so fourth. Java: Object Array assignment in for loop

I am trying to use Dijkstra's algorithm to find the shortest path from a specific vertex (v0) to the rest of them. How can I Display an extract from MySQL database entry?

I'd like to set it so that it only displays a certain part of the entry i.e 50 words. I'd then like to be able to set it so that I have a read more button below the post that links to the post id. Unable to display images through media queries form stylesheet

Configuring UCM cache to check for external Content Server changes

Recently, I was involved in a customer scenario where they were modifying the Content Server's contributor data files directly through Content Server. This operation of course is completely supported. However, since the contributor data file was modified through the "backdoor", a running WebCenter Spaces page, which also used the same data file, would not get the updates immediately. This was due to two reasons. The first reason is that the Spaces page was using Content Presenter to display the contents of the data file. The second reason is that the Spaces application was using the "cached" version of the data file. Fortunately, there is a way to configure cache so backdoor changes can be picked up more quickly and automatically. First a brief overview of Content Presenter. The Content Presenter task flow enables WebCenter Spaces users with Page-Edit permissions to precisely customize the selection and presentation of content in a WebCenter Spaces application. With Content Presenter, you can select a single item of content, contents under a folder, a list of items, or query for content, and then select a Content Presenter based template to render the content on a page in a Spaces application. In addition to displaying the folders and the files in a Content Server, Content Presenter integrates with Oracle Site Studio to allow you to create, access, edit, and display Site Studio contributor data files (Content Server Document) in either a Site Studio region template or in a custom Content Presenter display template. More information about creating Content Presenter Display Template can be found in the OFM Developers Guide for WebCenter Portal. The easiest way to configure the cache is to modify the WebCenter Spaces Content Server service connection setting through Enterprise Manager. From here, under the Cache Details, there is a section to set the Cache Invalidation Interval. Basically, this enables the cache to be monitored by the cache "sweeper" utility. The cache sweeper queries for changes in the Content Server, and then "marks" the object in cache as "dirty". This causes the application in turn to get a new copy of the document from the Content Server that replaces the cached version. By default the initial value for the Cache Invalidation Interval is set to 0 (minutes). This basically means that the sweeper is OFF. To turn the sweeper ON, just set a value (in minutes). The mininal value that can be set is 2 (minutes): Just a note. In some instances, once the value of the Cache Invalidation Interval has been set (and saved) in the Enterprise Manager UI, it becomes "sticky" and the interval value cannot be set back to 0. The good news is that this value can also be updated throught a WLST command. The WLST command to run is as follows: setJCRContentServerConnection(appName, name, [socketType, url, serverHost, serverPort, keystoreLocation, keystorePassword, privateKeyAlias, privateKeyPassword, webContextRoot, clientSecurityPolicy, cacheInvalidationInterval, binaryCacheMaxEntrySize, adminUsername, adminPassword, extAppId, timeout, isPrimary, server, applicationVersion]) One way to get the required information for executing the command is to use the listJCRContentServerConnections('webcenter',verbose=true) command. For example, this is the sample output from the execution: ------------------ UCM ------------------ Connection Name: UCM Connection Type: JCR External Appliction ID: Timeout: (not set) CIS Socket Type: socket CIS Server Hostname: webcenter.oracle.local CIS Server Port: 4444 CIS Keystore Location: CIS Private Key Alias: CIS Web URL: Web Server Context Root: /cs Client Security Policy: Admin User Name: sysadmin Cache Invalidation Interval: 2 Binary Cache Maximum Entry Size: 1024 The Documents primary connection is "UCM" From this information, the completed setJCRContentServerConnection would be: setJCRContentServerConnection(appName='webcenter',name='UCM', socketType='socket', serverHost='webcenter.oracle.local', serverPort='4444', webContextRoot='/cs', cacheInvalidationInterval='0', binaryCacheMaxEntrySize='1024',adminUsername='sysadmin',isPrimary=1) Note: The Spaces managed server must be restarted for the change to take effect. More information about using WLST for WebCenter can be found here. Once the sweeper is turned ON, only cache objects that have been changed will be invalidated. To test this out, I will go through a simple scenario. The first thing to do is configure the Content Server so it can monitor and report on events. Log into the Content Server console application, and under the Administration menu item, select System Audit Information. Note: If your console is using the left menu display option, the Administration link will be located there. Under the Tracing Sections Information, add in only "system" and "requestaudit" in the Active Sections. Check Full Verbose Tracing, check Save, then click the Update button. Once this is done, select the View Server Output menu option. This will change the browser view to display the log. This is all that is needed to configure the Content Server. Latest roll up patch for 10.1.3.4.1 is now out in the wild. Yep, there are bug fixes but the guys have implemented some great enhancements. I'll be covering some of them over the coming weeks, from collapsing bookmarks in your PDFs to better MS AD support to 'true' Excel templates, yes you read that correctly! Making WCF Output a single WSDL file for interop purposes.

By default, when WCF emits a WSDL definition for your services, it can often contain many links to others related schemas that need to be imported. For the most part, this is fine. WCF clients understand this type of schema without issue, and it conforms to the requisite standards as far as WSDL definitions go. However, some non Microsoft stacks will only work with a single WSDL file and require that all definitions for the service(s) (port types, messages, operation etc…) are contained within that single file. In other words, no external imports are supported. Some Java clients (to my working knowledge) have this limitation. This obviously presents a problem when trying to create services exposed for consumption and interop by these clients. In order to get WCF to produce a single WSDL file, we first need to follow some good practices when it comes to WCF service definitions. Step 1: Define a namespace for your service contract. Failure to do these tasks will cause WCF to emit its default http://tempuri.org namespace all over the place and cause WCF to still generate import statements. This is also true if the namespace of the contract and behaviour differ. If you define one and not the other, defaults kick in, and you’ll find extra imports generated. While each of the previous 2 steps wont cause any less import statements to be generated, you will notice that namespace definitions within the WSDL have identical, well defined names. Finally…. the magic…. Step 4: Use a custom endpoint behaviour to read in external imports and include in the main WSDL output. In order to force WCF to output a single WSDL with all the required definitions, we need to define a custom WSDL Export extension that can be applied to any endpoints. This requires implementing the IWsdlExportExtension and IEndpointBehavior interfaces and then reading in any imported schemas, and adding that output to the main, flattened WSDL to be output. Sounds like fun right…..? Hmmm well maybe not. This step sounds a little hairy, but its actually quite easy thanks to some kind individuals who have already done this for us. As far as I know, there are 2 available implementations that we can easily use to perform the import and “WSDL flattening”. WCFExtras which is on codeplex and FlatWsdl by Thinktecture. Both implementations actually do exactly the same thing with the imports and provide an endpoint behaviour, however FlatWsdl does a little more work for us by providing a ServiceHostFactory that we can use which automatically attaches the requisite behaviour to our endpoints for us. Making WCF Output a single WSDL file for interop purposes.

By default, when WCF emits a WSDL definition for your services, it can often contain many links to others related schemas that need to be imported. For the most part, this is fine. WCF clients understand this type of schema without issue, and it conforms to the requisite standards as far as WSDL definitions go. However, some non Microsoft stacks will only work with a single WSDL file and require that all definitions for the service(s) (port types, messages, operation etc) are contained within that single file. In other words, no external imports are supported. Some Java clients (to my working knowledge) have this limitation. This obviously presents a problem when trying to create services exposed for consumption and interop by these clients. Step 2: Define a namespace for your service behaviour [ServiceBehavior(Namespace = "http://SingleWSDL/Service1")] public class Service1 : IService1 { ...... } As you can see, the namespace of the service behaviour should be the same as the service contract interface to which it implements. Failure to do these tasks will cause WCF to emit its default http://tempuri.org namespace all over the place and cause WCF to still generate import statements. This is also true if the namespace of the contract and behaviour differ. If you define one and not the other, defaults kick in, and youll find extra imports generated. While each of the previous 2 steps wont cause any less import statements to be generated, you will notice that namespace definitions within the WSDL have identical, well defined names. Finally. the magic. Step 4: Use a custom endpoint behaviour to read in external imports and include in the main WSDL output. In order to force WCF to output a single WSDL with all the required definitions, we need to define a custom WSDL Export extension that can be applied to any endpoints. This requires implementing the IWsdlExportExtension and IEndpointBehavior interfaces and then reading in any imported schemas, and adding that output to the main, flattened WSDL to be output. Sounds like fun right..? Hmmm well maybe not. This step sounds a little hairy, but its actually quite easy thanks to some kind individuals who have already done this for us. As far as I know, there are 2 available implementations that we can easily use to perform the import and WSDL flattening. WCFExtras which is on codeplex and FlatWsdl by Thinktecture. Both implementations actually do exactly the same thing with the imports and provide an endpoint behaviour, however FlatWsdl does a little more work for us by providing a ServiceHostFactory that we can use which automatically attaches the requisite behaviour to our endpoints for us. CSS Dropdown Menu issues

Can anyone help with a small problem. I've got a nice simple CSS dropdown menu http://www.cinderellahair.co.uk/new/CSSDropdown.html The problem I have is when you rollover a menu item that has children which are wider than the content, it pushes the whole menu right. Aside of shortening the child menu links down, is there any tweak I can make to my CSS to stop this happening? Maintain cookie session in Android

Okay, I have an android application that has a form in it, two EditText, a spinner, and a login button. The user selects the service from the spinner, types in their user name and password, and clicks login. The data is sent via POST, a response is returned, it's handled, a new webview is launched, the html string generated form the response is loaded, and I have the home page of whatever service the user selected. That's all well and good. Now, when the user clicks on a link, the login info can't be found, and the page asks the user to login again. My login session is being dropped somewhere, and I'm not certain how to pass the info from the class that controls the main part of my app to the class that just launches the webview activity. It seems to work for one service I log into that I know keeps the cookies on the server (old, archaic, but it works and they don't want to change it.) The service I'm attempting now requires the user to keep cookies on their local machine, and it does not work with this setup. Any suggestions?
