  • JQuery help, How to Hide all button in JQuery

    Hi guys, I'm trying to make a request/reply section in my project. I want to achieve these functionality in that code (that I'm not able to implement; so guys please help me out): 1 When user click on reply button; other reply area(text-area +button) should be hide (means at a time only one reply area should be visible to the user). 2 when user click on reply button text-area will focus and page will slide down (suppose user reply 10 comment focus will automatically set to the 10 number text area and page will slide down to that position accordingly).   • jQuery - Need help stopping animation on click command.

    With a few of your help I was able to get the jquery I wanted to work flawlessly, except for one thing.. the animation doesn't stop when i click on the buttons. Scenario: I have an Image, and 3 buttons underneath labeled "1","2", and "3". The jquery will automate the click function every 4500ms and switch from 1 to 2, then 2 to 3 and continuously loop. However the problem is, if I manually click on a 1,2,3 button the animation does not stop.   • Best way to update UI from other classes?

    I've got several nested classes, with the following structure: BackupLocation contains list of BackupClients BackupClients contains a list of BackupVersions BackupVersions contains a list of BackupFiles In my UI - Im populating a combo box with BackupLocations - and have several listboxes for the clients, versions, and files. When processing the BackupLocations - I can update my status bar easily because thats the top level class that the UI creates. But how can I update the status bar and progress bar on each file being processed? Since the BackupFiles are 3 levels deep, I cant see any way to update the UI. The actual processing of the files are within the BackupVersion class - which loads its files. I think it probably has something to do with events and delegates - but am unsure exactly how to proceed with this, any help would be appreciated.

  • jQuery UI Dialog Issue With IE

    I am using the new jQuery 1.3.2 and jQuery-ui-1.7 libraries along with the UI Dialog. I have a div tag with several form elements (textbox, checkbox, etc.) in it. Upon page load, jQuery shows the div as a dialog. This works absolutely fine in FF, but in IE, the height of the div is wrong. It is just showing the title bar a bit of the content. I explicitly set the height when creating the div. If I set the height option after opening the dialog, the height is corrected, but the content is blank (shows the top third of a textbox). If I allow the dialog to be resizable, if you resize it in IE it works fine, but I don't want to force IE users to resize just to see the contents. Any ideas? I am assuming that Model and ViewModel would not be part of the name because the selection data is but a portion of the Model or ViewModel.
