• Maven:install jar file during build process

  I have got a requirement as follows. I need to run ant build file during maven build process. I need to invoke the build.xml from my pom.xml file. I have done that using maven-antrun-plugin. Now I need to install the ant build generated jar file automatically into my local repository before maven compiles my project source. I tried using build-helper-maven-plugin but it did not help. Either I am doing something wrong, or i am not doing right. Please help. Update Thank you. ant maven tasks worked for me as well. However I am runing into the following exception at the end of the build process. • Boost Python - Limits to the number of arguments when wrapping a function

  I'm using Boost Python to wrap some C++ functions that I've created. One of my C++ functions contains 22 arguments. Boost complains when I try to compile my solution with this function, and I'm trying to figure out if it is just because this function has too many arguments. Does anyone know if such a limit exists? I've copied the error I'm getting below, not the code because I figure someone either knows the answer to this or not - and if there is no limit then I'll just try to figure it out myself. • Why do I get a NullPointerException when initializing Spring

  Hi guys, I've got a problem running a batch job on my server, whereas it runs fine from Eclipse on my development workstation. I've got my Spring environment set up using Roo, made an entity, and make a batch that does some work, and test it well on my develompent box. I initialize my context and do the work, but when I run my batch on the server, the context isn't initialized properly. • How to packing Resources in Maven Project?

  I am looking for suggestion in putting image file maven web project. One of classes under src/main/java need to use an image file. My problem is, if i put image file under src/main/webapp/images then application server cannot find that path on runtime(where myeclipse can ) because war archive do not have specified path "src/main/webapp/images". My question is where should i put the image file that my project can find it without prompting any error or exception. • Oracle sample data problems

  So, I have this java based data trasformation / masking tool, which I wanted to test out on Oracle 10g. The good part with Oracle 10g is that you get a load of sample schemas with half a million records in some. The schemas are : SH, OE, HR, IX and etc. So, I installed 10g, found out that the installation scripts are under ORACLE_HOME/demo/scripts. I customized these scripts a bit to run in batch mode. That solves one half of my requirement - to create source data for my testing my data transformation software. The second half of the requirement is that I create the same schemas under different names (TR_HR, TR_OE and so on...) without any data. These schemas would represent my target schemas. So, in short, my software would pick up data from a table in a schema and load it up in to the same table in a different schema. Now, I have two issues in creating my target schema and emptying it. I would like this in a batch job. But the oracle scripts you get, the sample schema names are not configurable. So, I tried creating a script, replacing OE with TR_OE, HR with TR_HR and so on. However, this approach is kind of irritating coz the sample schemas are kind of complicated in the way they are created; Oracle creates synonyms, views, materialized views, data types and lot of weird stuff. I would like the target schemas (TR_HR, TR_OE,...) to be empty. But some of the schemas have circular references, which would not allow me to delete data. The only work around seems to be removing certain foreign keys, deleting data and then adding the constraints back. Is there any easy way to all this, without all this fuss? I would need a complicated data set for my testing (complicated as in tables with triggers, multiple hierarchies.. for instance.. a child table that has children up to 5 levels, a parent table that refers to an IOT table and an IOT table that refers to a non-IOT table etc..). The sample schemas are just about perfect from a data set perspective. The only challenge I see is in automating this whole process of loading up the source schemas, and then creating the target schemas and emptying them. Appreciate your help and suggestions.

  My site is i18n based on the following structure: mydomain.com/en mydomain.com/en/product/blue-widgets mydomain.com/fr mydomain.com/fr/product/blue-widgets The site is internationalised not localised, therefore i don't want to GEO target specific locals just target "french" or "english" speaking users. When submitting a sitemap to the search engines should i send one sitemap with links to all the different language versions or have one separate sitemap for each language. Is that even possible?

When the user clicks on the smaller image in the post, it opens up a new tab with the fullsize view of the image (I'm sure you're already familiar with this if you use Wordpress). For some reason, I can't get his code to work, and I'm wondering if I'm targeting this wrong within my CSS. Can you help? In place of the .drop-shadow class that he uses, I'm target all images wrapped with an a tag within the #main-i div. So, like this... #main-i a img Does anyone know how to target it better than I have so that I can get the drop shadows to be applied for all images within the specified div? Thanks for your help!   I build packages from a batch file using commands like: msbuild ..\lib\Package.dproj /target:Build /p:config=%1 The packages' settings are dependent on an option set: <Import Project="..\optionsets\COND_Defined.optset" Condition="'$(Base)'!='' And Exists('..\optionsets\COND_Defined.optset')"/> This option set defines a conditional symbol many of my packages depend on. The file looks like this: <Project xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003"> <PropertyGroup> <DCC_Define>CONDITION;$(DCC_Define)</DCC_Define> </PropertyGroup> <ProjectExtensions> <Borland.Personality>Delphi.Personality.12</Borland.Personality> <Borland.ProjectType>OptionSet</Borland.ProjectType> <BorlandProject> <Delphi.Personality/> </BorlandProject> <ProjectFileVersion>12</ProjectFileVersion> </ProjectExtensions> </Project> Now I need two builds: one with the condition defined and one without. My attack vector would be the option set file. I have some ideas on what to do: write a program which modifies the option set file, run this before batch build fiddle with the project files and modify the option set path to contain an environment variable, then have different option sets in different locations But before starting to reinvent the wheel I'd like to ask how you would tackle this task? Maybe there are already means meant to support such a case (like certain command line switches, things I could configure in Delphi or batch file magic).
