    Hello, i can't find a way to do multiple row tabs with ASP.net ajax tab control. I also can't find a tutorial or example on using CSS to make multiple row of tabs.     I have set up a list using this css... #navlist li { list-style-type: none; padding: 7px; float: left; } I have shown the page using jquery ui with other div containers... the page here the page named friend.jsp?all=true Im using a clearing div... .clear { clear:left; overflow:hidden; height:1px; } Now when i use a clearing div i get the page like this... the clearing div is clearing up to the end of the page... but on the 1st tab, that is on the freinds tab, when i m not using a clearing div i get the tab pane with no height... Any help with setting up a css for ui tabs or with setting up the list without float:left thanks Pradyut

  • CSS Extra Small Spacing

    http://www.dougymak.com/cnit133/hw8.part4.html So if you look at the tabs and look at hw2, you'll notice it has a little extra spacing that overlaps the spacing on the right. That's because wrapped the div in the <li>. You will notice the others not having it. I don't understand why is it making that extra little spacing after I wrap it. Just for the record, this is for CSS spacing which has nothing to do with the JS.

Since I want user to fill everything in my form, none of the radio buttons and check boxes are checked and the text fields are empty.     I'm using Python 2.x and I'm wondering if there's a way to tell if a variable is a new-style class? I know that if it's an old-style class that I can do the following to find out. import types class oldclass: pass def test(): o = oldclass() if type(o) is types.InstanceType: print 'Is old-style' else: print 'Is NOT old-style' But I haven't been able to find anything that works for new-style classes. If I try to apply the styling to the Border for example it does just that - draws the standard checkbox with a border around it - which is valid I guess.     I am using wamp and creating a Joomla template with changeable parameters. initially the message is The parameter file \templates\ssc_2010\params.ini is writable! once I make changes everything works as expected, except now i get the message: The parameter file \templates\ssc_2010\params.ini is unwritable! One solution is to brows to the directory, right click the file, select properties, and uncheck read-only. Again the file is writable but once I modify the parameters again it becomes read only again. I'm quite lazy and would like to prevent this from happening again, I've notice this happening in past projects, but now I have to work a lot with parameters so it becomes quite boring doing manual labor like that :P

    I want to display a basic html table with controls to toggle showing/hiding of additional columns: <table id="mytable"> <tr> <th>Column 1</th> <th class="col1">1a</th> <th class="col1">1b</th> <th>Column 2</th> <th class="col2">2a</th> <th class="col2">2b</th> </tr> <tr> <td>100</td> <td class="col1">40</td> <td class="col1">60</td> <td>200</td> <td class="col2">110</td> <td class="col2">90</td> </tr> </table> So Column 1 and Column 2 will be the only columns displayed by default - but when you click on the Column 1 I want 1a and 1b to toggle, and same with Column 2 with 2a and 2b. I may end up with more columns and lots of rows - so any javascript looping approaches have been too slow to work with when I tested. The only approach that seems to be fast enough is to set up some css like this: table.hide1 .col1 { display: none; } table.hide2 .col2 { display: none; } table.hide3 .col3 { display: none; } table.show1 .col1 { display: table-cell; } table.show2 .col2 { display: table-cell; } table.show3 .col3 { display: table-cell; } And then set up onClick function calls on the table header cells that will trigger a toggle - and determine which css class to set "mytable" to that will create the toggle effect that I'm looking for. Is there an easy way to set this up so that the code can work for n # of columns?

    Hi css experts I'm having a problem with my site http://artygirl.co.uk/pixie/about/ I can't seem to get the footer to automatically stick to the bottom of the browser, and show the rest of my background. Is there a solution better than using position:fixed or absolute? I think there are possibly other styles over-riding some tests I do in firebug. Thanks for your help Regards Judi
