  • Updating a gridview based on dundas chart callback

    I have a dundas pie chart which when clicked issues a client callback which updates another chart associated with it. Basically its like a drill down thing. I also want to update my gridview based on the user's selection of the pie. But since the update of chart is being done using dundas client callback I'm unable to rebind my Gridview. Is there any way to do it? .

  • Filter entire NSDictionaries out of NSArray based on multiple keys

    Hi, I have an NSArray of NSDictionary objects which I would like to be able to return a new array of NSDictionaries from, where every NSDictionary has "Area == North" (for example). The closest example I have found so far is http://stackoverflow.com/questions/958622/using-nspredicate-to-filter-an-nsarray-based-on-nsdictionary-keys but this just returns the unique values for a given key, not the dictionary that has that key. Is there any way to perform a similar operation, and to return the entire dictionary?

    I have a dialog-based app with an edit-control in it. When I minimize / restore the app, everything's ok. But when I hide all the windows with holding down that Windows-logo-key and pressing "D" and then I restore the app, the edit-control selects everything inside it. How to make it not to select the text on restore?

Such a library would allow me to send/receive membership lists, merge received membership lists, etc... Even better would be if the library implemented a protocol with performance O(logn) performance guarantees. Does anyone know of any open source library like this? It doesn't need to meet all of the aforementioned requirements; even something partially implemented would be helpful.

I discovered the following resource on maxmind: http://geolite.maxmind.com/download/geoip/api/php/timezone/ I suspect that I could use this with another api that provides the state that an area code belongs to. The problem is I do not want a specific paramater to do this (i.e Hide column X True/False) My report has several diffrent "departments" who are only intrested in certain columns. For example, if "navigation 1" was "this is the first item in the navigation", How do I make the width of the whole dropdown wider automatically, but without affecting the size of the navigation button which causes the dropdown the dropdown when mouseover'ed? Basically, I don't want to text to wrap in the dropdown, but at the same time, I don't want to button for the dropdown to go wider.

    I have two forms on one page and want to have the input boxes focused based on the URL. So for example: domain.com/Default.aspx#login and domain.com/Default.aspx#register and the javascript I have this: window.document.getElementById('<%=txtUserName.ClientID %>').focus(); window.document.getElementById('<%=txtEmail.ClientID %>').focus(); it might be better if the urls are Default.aspx?action=login actually (not sure if this effects the way in which it would work)

I am currently using office infopath which generates decent forms based on wsdl, but I would like to have it in my app, and generated at runtime. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

  • Resize form based on if subform visible

    I have a form with a subform on it. If subform contains no records, it's visible property is false. In that case, I'd like the outer form to shrink so that there isn't a big empty space where the subform was. The long way to do this would be by setting the position for all the controls on the form based on whether the subform is visible. However, is there an easier way to do this (maybe with the can grow/ can shrink property)?
