• Xamarin bundle ID not matching provisioning Profile

  I changed my provision profile 'application name' and 'bundle id' and now my xamarin no longer builds successfully and comes back with this message: Project bundle ID '' does not match specified provisioning profile '15729097-407D-4744-9378-53905C00E62B' Build: 1 error, 0 warnings Where is that profile guid stored? I have looked in the info.plist file and there is no mentioning of it. I hav tried cleaning the build and the solution multiple times and restarting of machine. I think if I know where that id is stored, it can give me insights on how to fix it. Your help is appreciated.

• How can I truncate an NSString to a set length?

  I searched, but surprisingly couldn't find an answer. I have a long NSString that I want to shorten. I want the maximum length to be around 20 characters. I read somewhere that the best solution is to use substringWithRange. Is this the best way to truncate a string? NSRange stringRange = {0,20}; NSString *myString = @"This is a string, it's a very long string, it's a very long string indeed"; NSString *shortString = [myString substringWithRange:stringRange]; It seems a little delicate (crashes if the string is shorter than the maximum length). I'm also not sure if it's Unicode-safe. Is there a better way to do it? Does anyone have a nice category for this?

• WPF ComboBox Binding to non string object

  I'm using MVVM (MVVM Light Toolkit) and have a property on the view model which exposes a list of objects. The objects contain two properties, both strings, which correlate to an abbreviation and a description. I want the ComboBox to expose the pairing as "abbreviation - description". If I use a data template, it does this easily. I have another property on the view model which represents the object that should display as selected -- the chosen item in the ComboBox. I'm binding the ItemsSource to the list, as it represents the universe of available selections, and am trying to bind the SelectedItem to this object. I'm killing myself trying to figure out why I can't get it to work, and feeling more like a fraud by the hour. In trying to learn why this works, I created the same approach with just a list of strings, and a selected string. This works perfectly. So, it clearly has something to do with the typing... perhaps something in choosing equality? Or perhaps it has to do with the data template?   I have a website and I have installed URL Rewrite using Web Platform Installer. I wish to allow a user friendly URL like www.foo.com/123456 to go to www.foo.com/page.aspx?blah=123456. Using the User-friendly URL template accomplishes this except that the created rule also matches all of the /scriptresource.axd?blahblah created by ASP.NET which of course breaks most functionality. My initial attempts to exclude the script resource files have failed. The regex generated by the tool is ^([^/]+)/?$

  Hi guys, i recently got a prebuild application which uses MYOB odbc connection to myob file. the odbc connection works perfectly in that application i uses the same odbc connection string in other application but it failed to open in that application. the connection string is perfectly identical but it wont works the new application. What I want to do is write a function that compares two "strings" and then returns 1 first word is larger than the second, the opposite if word 2 is larger than word 1, and 0 if the two words are equal.   Hello, I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to launch an intent within an ExpandableListView. Basically one of the "Groups" is Phone Number and it's child is the number. I want the user to be able to click it and have it automatically call that number. Is this possible? How? Here is my code to populate the ExpandableListView using a Map called "data". • getting database connectivity issue from only one part of my ASP.net project?

  Hi, Something weird has started happening to my project with Dynamic Data. Suddenly I am now getting connection errors when going to the DD navigation pages, but things work fine on the default DD main page, and also other MVC pages I've added in myself work fine to the database. Any ideas?   I'm lead to understand that the following grants all proveleges to all databases that name begin with 'xian_', but mysql complains about a syntax error near ''xian_... GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON 'xian_%.*' TO xian@'192.168.1.%'; What is the correct syntax? Am I right in thinking that the _ needs escaping to \_ too as it is also a wildcard?

  I have this so far: chrome.tabs.getSelected(null, function(tab) { var title = tab.title; var btn = '<a href="' + tab.url + '" onclick="save(\'' + title + '\');"> ' + title + '</a>'; if(RegExp('/http:\/\/www.mydomain.com\/version.php/i') == true) { document.getElementById('link').innerHTML = '<p>' + btn + '</p>'; } }); Basically it should match the domain within this: http://www.mydomain.com/version.php?* Anything that matches that even when it includes something like version.php?ver=1, etc When I used the code above of mine, it doesn't display anything, but when I remove the if statement, it's fine but it shows on other pages which it shouldn't only on the matched URL.

  Dear all, I would like to write a xslt rule if it matches a certain chapter ID that it sets autolabel to zero on the section. in pseudo code: IF CHAPTER == LOGBOOK SECTION.AUTOLABEL = 0 ELSE SECTION.AUTOLABEL = 1 ENDIF But after reading the docbook xsl website and docbook xsl reference i'm still unable to figure out how to do it.   I have a model Publication and a model Category in my Rails app. Both are connected with a has_and_belongs_to_many association. Now I would like to search publications that match one or more categories. If more than one category is given they have all assigned to the publication. I want to specify the categories in a multiple select_box. Publication.released.categories_id_is([1,2]) is not working because the categories are connected with OR. With Publication.categories_id_is_all([1,2]) the categories are connected with AND, but no result is given back. Any idea's on that? Am I mising the right point in the docs. Thanks for your very welcome help!
