Amazon Product API: "Your request is missing a required parameter combination" on Blended ItemSearch

I'm having some problems trying to do an ItemSearch on the Blended index using the Amazon Product API. According to the documentation, Blended requests cannot specify the MerchantId parameter - and indeed, if I try to include it I get an error telling me so. However, when I don't include it, I get an error telling me that my request is missing a required parameter combination and that a valid combination includes MerchantId... what the hell? I can provide additional info from the out file if necessary. I've read that some people use SQLite for dev and test then MySQL in prod but that sounds like a pretty horrible idea.

Ensuring a divs content has changed over time in Selenium

I have a div that contains a slideshow. ( http://film.robinhoodtax.org/issues/education ) I am using Selenium to test it. So far I have been using the HTML/Selenium script below to validate that the slideshow is actually working. But my assertEval is failing. How can I correctly detect the slideshow and make sure it is moving?. Hi, I am trying to change the layout of my application from portrait to landscape and vice-versa. But if i do it frequently or more than once then at times my application crashes.. auth.getSession not working

hi all, i am having troubles with calling auth.getSession in my proxy. It is being called from a iPhone connect client. When the proxy URL is invocated from the iphone, FB returns a 100 invalid parameter error to the proxy. However the 2nd attempt from iPhone yields success. Both times the proxy is doing the same code, only the auth_token is different. Doing a good search, shows that this is a problematic method. I have tried everything in code and even called in a iPhone expert to see if the problem is on the iPhone client. I have concentrated my efforts on the java api being the problem, however i believe the problem lies else where. I have added settings to my live wallpaper but they are not being applied when changed. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me why my settings are not being applied when changed. dynamically include zipfilesets into a WAR

hi all - a bit of clumsy situation but for the moment we cannot migrate to more straight-forward project layout. We have a project called myServices and it has 2 source folders (yes, I know, but that's the way it is for now) - I'm trying to make build process a bit more flexible so we now have a property called artifact.names that will be parsed by generic build.xml and based on name, it will call either jar or war task, eg. myService-war will create a WAR file with the following zipfilesets included there: myService-war-classes, myService-war-web-inf, myService-war-meta-inf. I want to add a bit more flexibility, and allow having additional zipfilesets, eg. myService-war-etc-1,2 etc - so these will be picked up by the package target automatically. I cannot use "if" inside war target, and also ${ant.refid:myService-war-classes} property is not resolved, so I'm kind of stuck at the moment with my options - how do I dynamically include a zipfileset into a WAR? You can refer to fileset by id, but it MUST be defined then, eg. you can't have it optional on project level. Thank you. Android: MediaPlayer gapless or seamless Video Playing

I can play the videos fine back to back by implementing the OnCompletionListener to set the data source to a different file. No problems there. I call reset() and prepare() just fine. What I haven't been able to figure out, is how to get rid of the 1-2 second gap screen flicker between the data source change and the new video starting. The gap shows a black screen, and I haven't found any way to get around it. I've tried setting the background of the parent view to an image, but it manages to bypass that. Even if the SurfaceView is transparent (which it is by default.) I've also tried to have the multiple video files played at the same time, and switching mediaplayer's display when one ends and the other is supposed to start. The last thing I tried, was to have a second view in the background that I show temporarily while the video is "preparing" and removing it when the video is ready to start. That also wasn't very seamless. Is there any way to get rid of that gap. Error using Session in IIS

After deployment of my website to IIS I'm getting a following error message when trying to access session: Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. Please also make sure that System.Web.SessionStateModule or a custom session state module is included in the \\ section in the application configuration. I access it in Page_Load or PreRender events (I tried both versions). With VS Dev Server it works without a problem. I tried both InProc an SessionState storage, 1 and multiple woker processes. I added a enableSessionState = "true" to my webpage explicitly. android program crashing (new to platform)

So it is my first real Android program (!hello world), but i do have java experience.The program compiles fine, but on running it crashes as soon as it opens (tried debugging, but it crashes before it hits my breakpoint). Write to file depending on minSdkVersion - android

Hi, I have written a filewriter for my android application. It is to function on a Galaxy Tab, so my minSdkVersion has to be at least 4, so it will fill the screen. I originally started out with SdkVersion = 2 and at that point my filewriter worked perfectly. Changing the SdkVersion to 4 introduced the problem. My filewriter doesn't work anymore! The application runs fine, but a file doesn't get created. NHibernate that was used was pretty old ( 1.0.2.0), so we decided to upgrade to ( 2.1.2) for the new features. HBM files are generated through custom template with MyGeneration. Everything went quite smoothly, except for one thing. Lets say we have to objects Blog and Post. Blog can have many posts, so Post will have many-to-one relationship. Due to the way that this application operates, relationship is done not through primary keys, but through Blog.Reference column. As i understand, in old version, for nhibernate it was enough to have Blog.Reference field, and it could retrieve entity by that field, and attach it to PostEntity, and when saving PostEntity, everything would work correctly. And as i understand, new NHibernate tries only to retrieve by Blog.Id. How to solve this? I cannot change DB design, nor can i assign an Id to BlogEntity, as objects are out of my control (they come prefilled as generic "ojbects" like this from external source)

Tomcat does save logged users during restart

How to force Tomcat to save logged users, so that the they kept logged in even after Tomcat has restarted? Right now the user has to login again everytime. Thanks for reading all of this. I've already implemented it and it works nicely, and I'm planning to extend it to validate the contents of IEnumerable fields and other fields that are Validatable. What I'm particularly concerned about is that if no ruleset is specified, the validator tries to use the name of the property as the ruleset name. (If you don't want that behavior, you can use [SuppressValidation].) This makes the code much less cluttered (no need to use [UseValidationRuleset("something")] on every single property) but it somehow doesn't feel right. I can't decide if it's awful or awesome. What do you think? Any suggestions on the other parts of this design are welcome too. I'm not very experienced and I'm grateful for any help. Also, is "Validatable" a good name? To me, it sounds pretty weird but I'm not a native English speaker.

Hibernate: update on parent-child relationship causes duplicate children

I have a parent child relationship in which the parent has a collection of children (a set to be specific). The child collection is setup with cascade="all-delete-orphan". When I initially save the parent element everything works as expected. However, when I update the parent and save again, all the children are re-saved. This behavior leads me to believe that the parent is losing its reference to the collection of children, and therefore when persisting all the children are re-saved. It seems the only way to fix this is to not use the setter method of this child collection, but unfortunately this setter is called implicitly in my application (Spring MVC is used to bind a multi-select form element to this collection, and the setter is called by spring on the form submission). Overwriting this setter to not lose the reference (ie, do a colleciton.clear() and collection.addAll(newCollection) rather than collection = newCollection) is apparently a hibernate no-no, as is pointed out here: https://forum.hibernate.org/viewtopic.php?t=956859 Does anyone know how to circumvent this problem? I've posted some of my code below. ASP.NET Login Page Redirection Problem

Hello everyone! I'm building a silverlight application hosted on ASP.NET Web App. / IIS7 / SSL-enabled website. For security, I put my silverlight page inside a Members folder in the ASP.NET Web Application, and restricted access from anonymous users.(see web.config below) when users try to access pages under Members folder, they get redirected to https://www.ssldemo.com/authenticationtest/login.aspx. (see web.config below) (I've mapped www.ssldemo.com to 127.0.0.1). for security, I'm switching to HTTPS in login.aspx, and back to HTTP after validation. below is the code for login.aspx.cs. protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { LoginControl.LoggedIn += new EventHandler(LoginControl_LoggedIn); } void LoginControl_LoggedIn(object sender, EventArgs e) { //for going to ReturnURL & switching back to HTTP string serverName = HttpUtility.UrlEncode(Request.ServerVariables["SERVER_NAME"]); string returnURL = Request["ReturnURL"]; Response.Redirect(ResolveClientUrl("http://" + serverName + returnURL)); } The problem is, when I deploy another application to http://www.ssldemo.com/authenticationtest/members/AnotherApplication/ and open http://www.ssldemo.com/authenticationtest/members/AnotherApplication/default.aspx, Users get redirected to https://www.ssldemo.com/authenticationtest/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fauthenticationtest%2fmembers%2fanotherapplication%2fdefault.aspx. but even when I enter the correct credentials at login page, I get redirected to the same login page again, not to the ReturnUrl. when I looked into fiddler, it said '302 object moved to here.'
