    Hello everyone, PROBLEM: I have a program dummy.exe on windows. this program will bind to UDP port 5060, after started. but another program also want to bind port 5060. WHAT I HAVE DONE: using windbg to start dummy.exe, and set breakpoint on ws2_32!bind when the breakpoint hit, i changed the parameter (port value) with command ew this dummy.exe will bind to the new port, and worked well. QUESTION: How can i do that easily? write a simple windows debugger? Maybe i can hacking or modify the dummy.exe file, but how to do that? what's your way to achieve this? thanks

    I have a very standard Gridview, with Edit and Delete buttons auto-generated. It is bound to a tableadapter which is linked to my "RelationshipTypes" table. dbo.RelationshipTypes: ID, Name, OriginConfigTypeID, DestinationConfigTypeID I wish to use a label that will pull the name from the ConfigTypes table, using the "OriginConfigTypeID" and "DestinationTypeID" as the link. dbo.ConfigTypes: ID, Name My problem is, I can't automatically generate Edit and Delete buttons using an Inner Join in my dataset. Or can I?     Is there a way in Haskell to bind the second argument but not the first of a function without using lambda functions or defining another "local" function? Example. I have a binary function like: sub :: Int -> Int -> Int sub x y = x - y Now if I want to bind the first argument, I can do so easily using (sub someExpression): mapSubFrom5 x = map (sub 5) x *Main> mapSubFrom5 [1,2,3,4,5] [4,3,2,1,0] That works fine if I want to bind the first n arguments without "gap". If I want to bind the second argument but not the first, the two options I am aware of are more verbose: Either via another, local, function: mapSub5 x = map sub5 x where sub5 x = sub x 5 *Main> mapSub5 [1,2,3,4,5] [-4,-3,-2,-1,0] Or using lambda: mapSub5 x = map (\x -> sub x 5) x While both are working fine, I like the elegance of "sub 5" and wonder if there is a similarly elegant way to bind the n-th (n 1) argument of a function?

  • Why does Network-Manager close when it cannot bind to any connection?

    When Network-Manager is not able to bind my Ubuntu to any connection, after a while it closes. The icon in the notification area (or indicator area) disappears, and it does not run any more. For instance this happens when there is really no ethernet network nor wireless one. Nonetheless this is a problem, since I often plug in my ethernet cable long after having booted my computer. As a hack I therefore hit Alt + F2, and type nm-applet. But I am not satisfied with this solution, because I think it is not intuitive enough. Is there a way to keep Network-Manager always running? I have Network-Manager 0.8.1 on Ubuntu 10.10, but this has been so for a long time, at least for one year.

    I'm developing a game engine, and it's only going to work on modern (Shader model 4+) hardware. I figure that, by the time I'm done with it, that won't be such an unreasonable requirement. My question is: how many textures can I bind at once on a modern graphics card? 16 would be sufficient. Can I expect most modern graphics cards to support that amount? My GTX 460 appears to support 32, but I have no idea if that's representative of most modern video cards.

    I'm re-working on the design of an existing application which is build using WebForms. Currently the plan is to work it into a MVP pattern application while using Ninject as the IoC container. The reason for Ninject to be there is that the boss had wanted a certain flexibility within the system so that we can build in different flavor of business logic in the model and let the programmer to choose which to use based on the client request, either via XML configuration or database setting. I know that Ninject have no need for XML configuration, however I'm confused on how it can help to dynamically inject the dependency into the system? Imagine I have a interface IMember and I need to bind this interface to the class decided by a xml or database configuration at the launch of the application, how can I achieve that?

    In my debian 7: $ pwd /home/freestyler $ mkdir old new # mount --bind old new then $ mount /dev/cciss/c0d0p9 on /home/freestyler/new type ext4(rw,noatime,nodiratime,user_xattr,barrier=1,data=ordered) I can only see the /dev/cciss/c0d0p9, which is not the same as /home/freestyler/old How can I get the original olddir path? In debian 6: the mount outpt the olddir path well: $ mount /home/freestyler/old on /home/freestyler/new type none (rw,bind)

    I have a web service built for SharePoint 2007 that I am trying to port to SharePoint 2010. This web service is dependent on session state to function properly, but so far, I have been enable to get session state to work at all in SharePoint 2010. This web service runs as its own web application under t he /_vti_bin virtual directory. I have tried all of the following with no luck: Ensured the "State Service" service application is running. Added the System.Web.SessionState.SessionStateModule http module to my application's web.config file. Added the System.Web.SessionState.SessionStateModule http module to my SharePoint root web.config file. Added <pages enableSessionState="true" /> to my application's web.config file. Added <pages enableSessionState="true" /> to my root web.config file. Additional Environment info: Visual Studio 2008 - SP1 .NET 3.5 - SP1 SharePoint 2010 - RC Windows Server 2008 R2 ASMX web service (not WCF) Had anyone had any luck getting a web application or web service to use session state in SharePoint 2010 yet?     Hi, I've been googleing and searching here info about this but so far couldn't find anything relevant to my problem. We have a website currently working on II6 and Windows Server 2003 (x86) without any problem. Now we want to migrate our server to a Virtual Machine with Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64) and IIS7. Out current app is built in Classic ASP and SQL Server (This one located on a 2nd Server but this is staying the way it is now). The website is configured as a WebSite, not a virtual directory. Using DefaultAppPool with 4 applications.     I know that variable scope is enclosed by a start of block { and an end of block }. If the same variable is declared within the block, then the compile error Variable already defined occurs. But take a look at following example. public class Test{ int x=0;// Class scope variable public void m(){ int x=9; //redeclaration of x is valid within the scope of same x. if(true){ int x=7; // but this redeclaration generates a compile time error. } } Here, x can be redeclared in a method, although it's already declared in the class. But in the if block, x can't be redeclared. Why is it that redeclaration of a class scope variable doesn't generate an error, but a method scope variable redeclaration generates an error?

  • Java Classpath Problems in Ubuntu

    First off I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 I've edited the /etc/environment file to look like this: PATH="/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games" JAVA_HOME="/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.20" CLASSPATH="/home/travis/freetts/lib/freetts.jar:/home/travis/freetts/lib/jsapi.jar:." I then run "source /etc/environment" to make sure the changes are included. Then I try compiling my simple test program using this: javac Test.java It throws out a few errors, but when I compile like this: javac -cp /home/travis/freetts/lib/freetts.jar:/home/travis/freetts/lib/jsapi.jar:. Test.java It works just fine, this leads me to believe that for some reason javac isn't seeing the CLASSPATH environment variable? I can echo it and everything in the terminal: echo $CLASSPATH gives me what I put in. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    hi i tried 2 things what should be the same however it my testing says different does anyone know why the only thing i do is put it in a variable... if ($_SESSION[$something] === null) echo("this is null"); $_SESSION[$something] does not exists so it indeed says: "this is null". now look at this $theSession = $_SESSION[$something]; if (theSession === null) echo("this is null"); now it does not say "this is null" while it should be exactly the same right?

    I'm running a very simple query that I think should work. The only thing that I haven't done before is put a php variable in the WHERE clause of the query. The variable $X is a numerical value, say 100. When I run this query, I just get a value of 0 returned. Am I doing something obviously stupid? SELECT generator_64k.n FROM generator_64k WHERE generator_64k.n<= '$X' I've looked around the web and also tried this: SELECT generator_64k.n FROM generator_64k WHERE generator_64k.n<= '" . $X . "' But this also just returns 0. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
