  • There is no DoubleClick event for ListView control in .NET CF 3.5

    In my project, tree is a list of customers displayed in an ListView control, When user double clicks (or taps) on an item I should show the details of that customer, But there is no double click (or click event, mouse up and down events etc.) event in .NET CF 3.5 ListView control (we only have ItemActive and SelectedIndexChanged events) Is there anyone has figure out this problem?

    Is there a way how modules can listen to parent application event? My current solution that works is: private function directoryRemoteObject_saveCompany_resultHandler(e:ResultEvent):void { this.directoryModuleLoader.child.dispatchEvent(new CompanyEvent(CompanyEvent.COMPANY_SAVED, e.result as int)); } this means that I need to dispatch event for every module. Isn't there better solution? Thanks.

  • Responding to the onmousemove event outside of the browser window in IE

    In Internet Explorer 7 body onmousemove or document.onmousemove events only seem to fire while the mouse is inside the browser window, not when it's outside. Yet in Firefox the onmousemove event is called correctly when I move outside of the browser window. How can I setup an event to be called outside of the browser window in IE? Google Maps does this in IE. If you hold the mouse button down and move the mouse outside of the browser window you can see that the map still moves.

I'm writing a WCF application at the moment and have started logging errors to the windows event viewer when I handle them. I then started thinking, should I be logging more than just errors, such as when a user has logged in or out or would you go further logging even more activity? For server side validations i m using ComponentModel.DataAnnotations. these validations are reflected to client side by html helper's method Html.EnableClientValidation(). this scheme works fine for except that it triggers the validation on blur event of each form control whereas i want to have it triggered on form's submit event. any suggestions in this regard are highly appreciated regards
