• Autofac Unit Testing using RegisterControllers()

  I am having problems using Autofac 2.1.13 and writing my unit tests for my ASP.NET MV2 application. I can't seem to resolve controllers when using the RegisterControllers method. I have tried using the Resolve<() and ControllerBuilder.Current.GetControllerFactory().CreateController() methods but to no avail. I am sure that I've missed something simple here so can anyone assist? This was my first attempt at resolving the HomeController - but does not work. • Struggling running ASP MVC2 on IIS6.0

  Hi I could use a little Help using MVC2 on an IIS6.0 Its an MVC2 RC2 [.NET 3.5]. I followed the famous Haacked Tutorial, created a virtual folder, created a Default.aspx Website for my Project, put everything to my virtual folder. The routing is modified, using wildcard mapping [anyway its not running without, too], according to the Tutorial. I also checked, that all Webservices are running [asp.net 2 / asp.net 4 / active server pages]. The routing is working fine on my development machine, even checked it using Haacks routing debugger ... [http://haacked.com/archive/2008/03/13/url-routing-debugger.aspx] Seems fine so far, but I get only 404 - not found errors. Is there something I might be missing ?   I've been working on a little Silverlight utility which calls a Silverlight web service. It works from my dev machine (XPsp2). I've tried publishing it to a 2008 R2 IIS 7.5 server and it doesn't work when trying to contact the web service. So I've tried using the WcfTestClient to connect to the web service. • Nginx + PHP-FPM executes script, but returns 404

  I am using Nginx + PHP-FPM to run a Wordpress based site. I have a URL that should return dynamically generated JSON data for use with the DataTables jQuery plugin. The data is returned properly, but with a return code of 404. I think this is a Nginx config issue, but I haven't been able to figure out why. The script 'getTable.php' works properly on the production version of the site which is currently using Apache. Anyone know how I can get this to work on Nginx?   I'm getting 100+ errors per day on my website with System.Web.HttpException: Invalid viewstate. The website is asp.net 3.5 running on iis6 , not running in a web-garden/web-farm , single server. • Disabling kextcache on 10.5.8 and 10.6.3

  We use Radmind to manage our Mac OS X loadsets and, as such, often run into difficulty when new OS releases come out due to, among other things, updated kernel extensions. The workflow in the past (OS revisions <= 10.4) was to delete the kernel extension cache, update the extensions, and then reboot. That worked just fine, as the system would re-create missing caches on boot. In Leopard, you need to delete the caches after replacing the kernel extensions with their new versions, as the system will automatically start creating them when you replace them; the only way to ensure that you don't have invalid extensions cached is to delete the cache before rebooting. I'm looking for a way to prevent the kernel extensions cache from being re-created until the next reboot. If you modify the contents of /System/Library/Extensions/, kextcache will start up automatically. I've looked through /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/ and other places, but I can't find whatever it is that's starting kextcache. Any ideas?

• Why does IIS respond to a secure(SSL) page request with a 302 to its non-secure version?

  I have SSL installed at the root of a server. I have a page whose code behind code is supposed to redirect after certain validation to a secure page. I looked at the firebug console and it appears that the client does make a get request to https://server/checkout/payment.aspx but IIS responds with a 302 to http://server/checkout/payment.aspx Any clues, as to what could be causing it. I've even tried forcing SSL for the page, but it doesn't work I get 403.4 error. (SSL is required to view this resource.) And if i remove the redirection logic and code the payment page to redirect to its SSL version when the connection is not secure using Request.IsSecureConnection, i end up with an endless redirect loop, simply because IIS still won't serve the secure version without a 302. Any ideas?

And the Magento Site which consists of a lot of InnoDB tables, some MyISAM and some INMEMORY. The "read" side seems to be running pretty well with a mass of optimizations I've used on Magento, the NGINX setup and PHP-FPM + XCACHE. I'd love to have a kick in the right direction with the MySQL config so I'm not blindly altering it based on the MySQLTuner without understanding what I'm changing. Thanks

  I run a website Cucumbertown with an initial pay load of nearly 9KB zipped. All my js is delayed loaded with requirejs and modernizer is the only exception. Now all my webpages are Nginx cached and only 10-15% hits go to the backend proxy. And the cache is invalidated by logged in users as proxy_cache_bypass. So for an anonymous user its nearly always a cache hit. I have some basic OS tuning with default via ip dev eth0 initcwnd 15 net.ipv4.tcp_slow_start_after_idle 0 Despite an all cache & large initcwnd my pages still take 2.5 – 3 seconds. I have a yslow score of And page speed at Are there strategies that can help deliver webpages even faster than this? Deliver pages at 1+ second time for 10KB payload? Notes: My servers run of a fairly good data center from Linode at Fremont.

  I try and try and try to performance and fix problem with gluster, i try all. I served on gluster webpages, php files, images etc. I have problem after update from 3.3.0 to 3.3.1. I try 3.4 when i think maybe fix it but still the same problem. I temporarily have 1 brick, but before upgrade will be fine. Config: Volume Name: ... Type: Replicate Volume ID: ... • Can't log in a user in MVC!

  I have been scratching my head on this for a while now but still can't get it. I'm trying to simply log in a user in an MVC2 application. I have tried everything that I know to try but still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Here are a few things that I have tried: FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie( emailAddress, rememberMe ); var cookie = FormsAuthentication.GetAuthCookie( emailAddress, rememberMe ); HttpContext.Response.Cookies.Add( cookie ); FormsAuthenticationTicket ticket = new FormsAuthenticationTicket( emailAddress, rememberMe, 15 ); FormsIdentity identity = new FormsIdentity( ticket ); GenericPrincipal principal = new GenericPrincipal(identity, new string[0]); HttpContext.User = principal; I'm not sure if any of this is the right thing to do (as it's not working). After setting HttpContext.User = principal then Request.IsAuthenticated == true. However, in Global.asax I have this: HttpCookie authenCookie = Context.Request.Cookies.Get( FormsAuthentication.FormsCookieName ); The only cookie that ever is available is the aspnet session cookie. Any ideas at all would be much appreciated!

  I'm trying to code ASP.NET MVC views (WebForms view engine) in F#. I can already write regular ASP.NET WebForms ASPX and it works ok, e.g. <%@ Page Language="F#" %> <% for i in 1..2 do %> <%=sprintf "%d" i %> so I assume I have everything in my web.config correctly set up. However, when I make the page inherit from ViewPage: <%@ Page Language="F#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage" %> I get this error: Compiler Error Message: FS0442: Duplicate method. The abstract method 'ProcessRequest' has the same name and signature as an abstract method in an inherited type. • RAID P410i and P812 performance issues

  I'm having much trouble with I/O performance of HP DL360 server with two RAID controllers - P410i and P812, Windows Server 2008, 36 GiB RAM and 16 x Intel Xeon x5550. The server runs a bunch of tasks producing heavy sequential I/O, and after about 20-30 minutes of intensive work it looks like the tasks are stuck, not using CPU and with enough free memory (so this cannot be a bottleneck). The same tasks were running quite well on the older server (Windows Server 2003, 4 x Intel Xeon, 12 GiB RAM). RAID cache is present, write-cache battery is installed. Cache is configured as 25% readahead/75% writeback. The swap file resides on the logical disk served by P410i and other logical disks are on P812. Can someone tell me what can be the matter of this? Is this a hardware problem or misconfiguration?

• USB drive gets infected every time I plug it into my laptop

  Whenever I plug in my USB flash drive into my laptop running Windows XP, an AutoRun.inf file gets created inside it. Also a hidden folder called "Cache" which uses the Recycle bin icon gets created. AutoRUn.inf file cannot be opened in Windows. Both the Autorun.inf file and the "Cache" folder cannot be deleted. I opened the AutoRun.inf file using Ubuntu. I saw that it is trying to run a file Cache\TMP983.exe. I ran all anti-spywares, anti-malwares, anti-viruses, USB autorun eaters, but to no avail. How do I fix this?

  I'm having problem with our login procedure. Some customers complain that they can't login. I can see in our logs that their login is successful and that they are redirected from the login page to the member area. But there somehow the login isn't detected and they are bounced back to the login page. I've asked customers to check if cookies are supported (http://www.html-kit.com/tools/cookietester/) but problem remains even if this test returns true.   Hi I am using ObjectDataSource, ListView, CustomPaging If the total number of rows is too big, I got OutOfMemory exception, it seems that it caused by some array, I don't get it, because total number of rows should never make any array to be filled with elements, the page size do!!
