• How to configure mod_cluster, httpd, Jboss 7.1.1?

  I am trying develop clustered environment in Jboss 7.1.1. For mod_cluster setup I have done the following steps. Downloaded httpd 2.4 placed @C:\Apache24 Placed below .so files in C:\Apache24\modules mod_proxy.so mod_proxy_ajp.so mod_slotmem.so mod_manager.so mod_proxy_cluster.so mod_advertise.so Using cmd, when I run C:\Apache24\bin: httpd.exe am getting below error and apache is not getting started. httpd.exe: Syntax error on line 528 of C:/Apache24/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load modules/mod_slotmem.so into server: The specified procedure could not be found. Could anyone provide the solution? Thanks

• Correct PHP5 DLL for Apache 2.2?

  I have installed Apache 2.2.14 (Win32) on a Windows XP machine and am trying to add the latest PHP module. I downloaded the ZIP file from here labeled "VC9 x86 Non Thread Safe" and extracted to my Apache directory. I then copied php5.dll to Apache's bin directory and copied php.ini to C:\Windows. In httpd.conf, I added these lines: LoadModule php5_module "C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/bin/php5.dll" AddType application/x-httpd-php .php Now Apache will not start. error.log says this: "Can't locate API module structure php5_module in file C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/bin/php5.dll": No error" I think I may have the wrong .dll file, because I found tutorials that use the filename php5apache2.dll and I didn't see that in the PHP package I got. Also, I have seen references to a file called php5ts.dll, but I don't see that either. What exactly do I need to make PHP5 work?

• HAProxy not passing SSL traffic in TCP mode (unknown protocol)

  Hi, I've got a HAProxy LB solution setup and working correctly. All HTTP traffic on port 80 is being passed through succesfully. I'm now trying to get SSL traffic to work (in TCP mode and on just one server for now) however I keep getting the following error when testing via openssl: 26396:error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol:s23_clnt.c:588: However, when I try the same test (openssl s_client -connect) on the web servers IP address and hostname, everything seems to look OK. I can setup a hosts record locally and confirm that the browsers are picking up the SSL certificate succesfully for the domain. • Eclipse says "Access Denied" when running javaw and how to fix it?

  I'm trying to get Eclipse to compile and run a HelloWorld class but it can't even do that. I have installed Eclipse x86 SDK 4.2.0 together bit with the latest JRE and JDK both in 64 bit as well. I also have the PATH variables set to respond to command prompts. When I try to run the following code: class HelloWorld { public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.println("Hello World!" ) ; } } And it returns the following error: Exception occurred executing command line. Cannot run program "C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe" (in directory "C:\Users\Default\workspace\devs"): CreateProcess error=5, Access is denied. Can you help me fix this? Thanks!

• Apache2 can't close connections with restart

  I'm running a Debian webserver with Apache2 and the restart command started giving me an error. root@srv:~# service apache2 stop Stopping web server: apache2. root@srv:~# service apache2 start Starting web server: apache2(98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address [::]:80 (98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80 no listening sockets available, shutting down Unable to open logs Action 'start' failed. The Apache error log may have more information. failed! Occasionally it actually will restart without a problem but usually I have to killall -9 apache2 first. Someone on the Debian IRC had me check my active apache2 connections and it turns out they aren't quitting and dozens of them are staying open. How can I get these to eventually time out?

• PHP-FPM bind issues

  I have a setup of a mac server running Nginx 1.2.3, PHP-FPM 5.3.10 on OSX Lion. It works fine with Nginx on port 8080 ( using port fordwaring on from 80 ) and PHP-FPM listening on 9000. Both are running as /System/LaunchDaemons. My issue is that the system log is full of these errors ( every ten seconds ) which despite the fact the system works I don't like. Could someone please point me to what configuration variables may be causing this problem. There are not any errorneous LaunchAgent/LaunchDaemons floating around either?

• Problems connecting to MS Dynamics AX 2009 Application Object Server

  I've got a funny problem connecting to an AOS server. I got a domain network containing a (VM) Server running the Application Object Server (AOS). Client computer A) can connect to the AOS without problems and work. When client computer B) tries to connect, all I get is this error message: Logon Error Connection with the Application Object Server could not be established. The event log of Client B) does not contain any messages about this. Firewalls are off on all three computers (by GP). Tcp/ip from cliebt B) to the AOS server does run fine. Both clients run the same OS (win 7 RC), sit on the same subnet, next to each other. Yesterday it all worked, today just one computer can connect. Any ideas what might cause this problem, how to resolve it, or how to debug it?

  On a new installation of IIS 7.5 I have setup Windows Authentication on my Intranet. The providers I have used are 'NTLM' and negotiate in that order. This works fine in IE and Firefox but in chrome I get the following This web page is not available The web page at http://mysite.com/myintranet.php might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. Error 338 (net::ERR_INVALID_AUTH_CREDENTIALS): Unknown error. I've tried looking online for a solution without any success. I'm running the latest version of Chrome 21.0.1180.60

• IIS7 returns 403.1 (execute access denied) for image file

  I have a web app running in IIS7 on Windows Server 2008. There is a virtual directory pointing to a shared folder "/Content/Data" on another machine (running Windows Server 2003), as well as a real directory "/Content/Images" on the local machine (web app sub folder). Accessing images in "/Content/Images" is no problem, but when an image (e.g. a JPEG file) in the "/Content/Data" is accessed by a browser, IIS returns this error: HTTP Error 403.1 - Forbidden: Execute access is denied. However, the web app can read and write to / from it. I assume IIS and ASP.NET are running under different user accounts? Does anyone have an idea on what I have to do to make it work? I have set the permissions on the shared folder to Everyone Full Control, with no luck.

• How do I mount an EBS root volume to a windows instance in Amazon EC2

  So basically, I created a large windows server for development, and then I created a micro windows server for production. I set up everything how I wanted it on my development server, and then i unmounted the drives, and mounted them to my micro server. Now I'm trying to get back into my large windows development server, and I'm getting the error. Invalid value 'i-4896ce28' for instanceId. Instance does not have a volume attached at root (/dev/sda1) this error pops up when I try to start my large windows server. I've remounted the drives to the large development server, and I still get this message. I'm not really sure what to do, I've read other posts and everyone is giving these almost like command line arguments and talking about other tools, and I really have no clue what any of that means, or where I even have an option to enter any commands without be logged into a specific instance.

  When I try and start my app I get this error. I have verified that JarScanner exists in the CATALINA_HOME directory so I dont know why it cant find it. Is there anything that could lead to this issue starting my app? I am running Scientific Linux 6.1, which ships with httpd-2.2.15. • Cannot update Windows update

  When I try to get latest windows updates, windows (7 home) tells me that it needs to update the windows update. And that the Update window needs to be restarted in order to do that. After that restart I get error "WindowsUpdate 8007006D". Googlin that code doesnt' give me any more information. • PostgreSQL service doesn't start on Windows 7

  (Not sure if this should be on Stack Overflow or Super User... please move if needed.) When I start the PostgreSQL service on Windows 7 x64, it immediately stops. When I check my log folder (C:\PostgreSQL\9.1\data\pg_log\), I see new but empty log files. The Event Viewer doesn't tell me anything other than the fact that the server did not respond. I've even tried turning off my firewall (I don't have any antivirus or anything else), but nothing helps. The setup works fine when I'm on Windows XP (32-bit) (same computer, different partition). I can't figure out what's wrong, even though I've tried tracing the system calls. Is PostgreSQL compatible with Windows 7 x64 at all? Any ideas what the issue might be? • Register a dll in Windows Server 2003

  I'm trying to register some DLLs for a particular application but having some problems. The DLLs are stored in the application folder in the D: drive. I run cmd.exe, go to the D: drive and run regsvr32, but it gives me the error: "The was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. This file cannot be registered." After searching for other solutions, I also tried copying the DLLs into the C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder and running regsvr32 directly there but that didn't work either. It gave me the same error. I'm not very familiar with Windows Administration, so I may need detailed instructions/explanations. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much!

• Siteminder webagent installation failed

  Hi All, I have tried to install a 32 bit Netegrity(CA) siteminder web agent on 64 bit Windows server 2003. The IIS server is V 6.0 and so it is also 64 bit. But the problem is while configuring the agent it is showing metabase error. Previously 64 bit web agent was installed on the same server and removed. The IIS V 6.0 is also reinstalled on the server. But after that when I tried to install 32 bit siteminder web agent, it is showing an error as said above. Is it possible to install a 32 bit siteminder web agent on 64 bit IIS? • HP Loadrunner failed to start .NET Diagnostics probe

  I've got a HP Diagnostics Server (commander mode) installed in the same PC where HP Loadrunner is. I've installed the .NET probe in the web application server. When I navigate localhost:2006/registrar/health I can see the CommandingServer and three instances of the probe, all in green and connected. Then, when in LoadRunner controller I enable Diagnostics, select the probe and start the scenario, I get the next error: Failed to start J2EE/.NET Diagnostics run. (Facade error: Unable to send 'startRun' notification to probe MyAgent.1347615505142149) I've looked at the firewall logs and the rule that lets the server send commands to the probes has been matched three times. What else could it be what doesn't let me start the probe?
