  • For securing forms, when do I issue the token?

    So, I have a form, to make it a little more secure and potentially help prevent CSRF attacks I want to add a random token value in a hidden field that value is also stored server side in my session data. When should I issue a new token? Per form? Per page load where there is any form? Per session? I can render it invalid as soon as a form is successfully submitted but I'm wondering when to generate one. I ask as if I issue it per form or per page do I not risk the chance of a duplicate token value overwriting the existing (valid) token if a user opens a separate window but submitting the first form (with the now overwritten value)?

  • WP_Insert_Post and GUID Issue [Wordpress]

    Hello, I have a posting form at my theme. I used wp_insert_post there. My code looks like this $post = array( 'ID' => '', 'post_author' => $post_author, 'post_category' => $post_category, 'post_content' => $post_content, 'post_title' => $post_title, 'post_status' => 'publish', ); $post_id = wp_insert_post($post); $fullpost = get_post($post_id); wp_redirect($fullpost->guid); Everything works fine. But when it's inserted to the database, at the GUID field, the entry format is like this permalinks_structure/id. So if my permalinks_structure is like /category/id , it become like http://www.example.com/uncategorized/1. So the problem is, if i post through wordpress admin panel, GUID of the post is http://www.example.com?p=1 . So my post database GUID become mess, because if i want to change permalinks_structure , the post which becomes from outside form will follow the structure. What I want to do is, I want to get the GUID like that I posted through admin panel which is http://www.example.com?p=1 How can i do it ? Please point me out. Thank you.

  • Can I suppress or enforce URLs to be prefaced with http:// in ALL browsers?

    I want to ensure that regardless of what browser a user is in, they all see the EXACT same characters in the URL bar. Most browsers show the preceding protocol type in the URL bar. However, Chrome for example truncates http:// (not sure about https) and starts with the domain name, ie: Chrome: stackoverflow.com/questions/ask Safari: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/ask So, is there a way to either suppress the http:// in all browsers, or even enforce it in all browsers? Preferably suppress.

    I have an array containing the contents of a MySQL table. I need to put each of these contents into curl_multi_handles so that I can execute them all simultaneously Here is the code for the array, in case it helps: $SQL = mysql_query("SELECT url FROM urls") or die(mysql_error()); while($resultSet = mysql_fetch_array($SQL)){ $urls[]=$resultSet } So I need to put be able to send data to each url at the same time. I don't need to get any data back, and in fact I'll be having them time out after two seconds. It only needs to send the data and then close.   • Symfony on virtual host (document root problem)

    Hello, I'm developing an application in Symfony and on localhost (XAMPP) I want to simulate the same conditions as on the webserver. The web server is configured as follows: /www => mydomain.com /foo => foo.mydomain.com /bar => bar.mydomain.com ... I'm going to put my Symfony application into /www direcotry so there'll be: /www /www/apps /www/apps/frontend /www/apps/frontend/... /www/apps/backend /www/apps/backend/... /www/cache /www/config ... and so on... /www/web The thing is that the document root is still set to the /www directory but Symfony expects it in the /www/web. Of course it will work if I call http://mydomain.com/web but I guess you understand this is quiet stupid solution. So my question is: Is there any way how can I change/bypass the default document root setting using .htaccess or whatever?

    Is there any way I can search an array for a value and return it's key, I tried array_search() with no success... below is an example of my array [0] = Array ( [value] = [text] = All Call Types ) [1] => Array ( [value] => enquiry [text] => Renovation Enquiry ) [2] => Array ( [value] => msg [text] => Message to Pass on ) ...   • Export to csv, string w/ comma in it, splits it up

    This code exports data into a csv file, which is opened within Excel. When a string has a comma within it, it messes up the order of the data. I need help modifying my code below to resolve any data that contains a comma within it, to not to create a new column. I am assuming it will pass each string within double quotes, so any comma within those quotes, then it will make an exception.
