    I have an effective sticky footer solution, but I have a slight conflict because of the need for a background image in addition to the repeating banner image across the top. In order to make the large watermark type image show up on this site I added the following div: <div id="body-outer"> The only problem is that once I add this div tag, the footer climbs up the page, overriding all content in its path. If I remove that div, the footer is as sticky as one could hope. Is there some way to have the background image and the sticky footer too?   • Android app crashes when I change the default xml layout file to another

    I am currently just starting to learn android development and have created a basic "Hello world" app that uses "activity_main.xml" for the default layout. I tried to create a new layout xml file called "new_layout.xml" with a text view, a text field and a button and did the following changes in the MainActivity.java file: setContentView(R.layout.new_layout); I did nothing else expect for adding a new_layout.xml in the res/layout folder, I have tried restarting and cleaning the project but nothing.     I am using the Scriptaculous Draggable/Droppable scripts and have a problem when dragging into a scrolling div. This works very well for most cases, but when there are too many images for the grid and it has to scroll, I run into issues. I can still drag/drop into most items in that div, but when I scroll down and then try to drag onto an item in the bottom of the list, it drops on the row that was at the bottom before I scrolled the div. Even if I set the scroll attribute when creating the Draggable items, it will scroll the grid div, but not use the proper Droppable item. Is there any way to make the Draggable items drop onto the proper Droppable element regardless of if the containing div is scrolled or not?

  • PagerView overlapping PagerTabStrip / PagerTitleStrip

    I've been trying for about a week to get my PagerView not to overlap the TitleStrip. I've tried absolutely everything I can think of, and one StackOverflow question that looked like the same question, had an answer that wasn't applicable. It appears that both the PagerTitleStrip and the TextView start at 0,0 (left,top) Any help would be appreciated. Note that I can't use any XML (inc Layout.xml) so it's all done programatically.   • Why am I getting null object reference error when saving (OnItemUpdating event) the first edit item

    I'm getting the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." when trying to reference a HiddenField (lvEditProjectSteps_hdnStepStatusId for future reference) from the EditItem during the OnItemUpdating event after the Update event fires in a ListView. This only occurs on the FIRST item in the ListView. I checked the source and the HTML is being rendered properly. ANY insight is appreciated! Thanks in advance...   • extremely small gap between two divs that are width 100%

    hi I have two container divs one of them has a div with an image background and i think this is the div that is causing problem. I tried removing both container divs and the gap was still here. there are no margins no paddings, and i know it is not the image that has this line its not there when i open it in photoshop. So far I've been able to run and debug client/server code successfully via the GWT Maven plugin and its embedded Jetty container. However, I'm having trouble debugging client code when it is already running on a remote machine (and hence there's no need for the embedded Jetty container). Has anyone been successful at achieving this? Any help would be appreciated!

    In my Application am using ViewPager to swipe the images,which comes through webservice as URL. Everything goes smoothly,the problem is while swiping myself getting the position as collapsed one.. Swipe left-right: positions are 1,2,3,4,5,etc.. if i stops swiping at 5th pos and started to Swipe from right-left: positions are 2,1...why this happens? I need to catch the position of the imageURL to find out the ID of the specific image and so i need to download and set it as wallpaper.. Normally while we swipe from right-left,the positions should decrease like 4,3,2,1. Also in debugger mode i got some start position,end position,last position with different values.. Any Clue about ViewPager.     I'm working on a website that has a lot of transparency involved, and I thought I would try to build it entirely in RGBA and then do fallbacks for IE. I need a "facebox" style border effect, where the outer border is rounded and is less opaque than the background of the box it surrounds. The last example from http://24ways.org/2009/working-with-rgba-colour seems to suggest that it's possible, but I can't seem to get it to work. I should also add that I can't use another element inside the container, because I'm also going to use a border-radius on the container to get rounded corners, and webkit squares the corners of the child elements if they have a background assigned, which would essentially mean a rounded outer border with square contents.     I have a web-app that requires two settings: A JDBC datasource A string token I desperately want to be able to deploy one .war to various different containers (jetty,tomcat,gf3 minimum) and configure these settings at application level within the container. My code does this: InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext(); Context envCtx = (javax.naming.Context) ctx.lookup("java:comp/env"); token = (String)envCtx.lookup("token"); ds = (DataSource)envCtx.lookup("jdbc/datasource") Let's assume I've used the glassfish management interface to create two jdbc resources: jdbc/test-datasource and jdbc/live-datasource which connect to different copies of the same schema, on different servers, different credentials etc. Say I want to deploy this to glassfish with and point it at the test datasource, I might have this in my sun-web.xml: ... <resource-ref> <res-ref-name>jdbc/datasource</res-ref-name> <jndi-name>jdbc/test-datasource</jndi-name> </resource-ref> ... but sun-web.xml goes inside my war, right? surely there must be a way to do this through the management interface Am I even trying to do the right thing? Do other containers make this any easier? I'd be particularly interested in how jetty 7 handles this since I use it for development.   • jQuery - resizable + draggable, the scrolling(left,top) is not added

It works fine, drags and rezises fine, but i have a container that holds these elements and as soon as I trigger an overflow and attempt to rezise the div it fails and resets backs to container width. http://jsfiddle.net/JTTYM/26/ It seams as the this.scrollLeft and this.scrollTop are not included on drag.
