  • Regular exp to validate email in C

    - by Liju Mathew
    Hi, We need to write a email validation program in C. We are planning to use GNU Cregex.h) regular expression. The regular expression we prepared is [a-z0-9!#$%&'*+/=?^_`{|}~-]+(?:\.[a-z0-9!#$%&'*+/=?^_`{|}~-]+)*@(?:[a-z0-9](?:[a-z0-9-]*[a-z0-9])?\.)+[a-z0-9](?:[a-z0-9-]*[a-z0-9])? But the below code is failing while compiling the regex. #include <stdio.h> #include <regex.h> int main(const char *argv, int argc) { const char *reg_exp = "[a-z0-9!#$%&'*+/=?^_`{|}~-]+(?:.[a-z0-9!#$%&'*+/=?^_`{|}~-]+)*@(?:[a-z0-9](?:[a-z0-9-]*[a-z0-9])?.)+[a-z0-9](?:[a-z0-9-]*[a-z0-9])?"; int status = 1; char email[71]; regex_t preg; int rc; printf("The regex = %s\n", reg_exp); rc = regcomp(&preg, reg_exp, REG_EXTENDED|REG_NOSUB); if (rc != 0) { if (rc == REG_BADPAT || rc == REG_ECOLLATE) fprintf(stderr, "Bad Regex/Collate\n"); if (rc == REG_ECTYPE) fprintf(stderr, "Invalid Char\n"); if (rc == REG_EESCAPE) fprintf(stderr, "Trailing \\\n"); if (rc == REG_ESUBREG || rc == REG_EBRACK) fprintf(stderr, "Invalid number/[] error\n"); if (rc == REG_EPAREN || rc == REG_EBRACE) fprintf(stderr, "Paren/Bracket error\n"); if (rc == REG_BADBR || rc == REG_ERANGE) fprintf(stderr, "{} content invalid/Invalid endpoint\n"); if (rc == REG_ESPACE) fprintf(stderr, "Memory error\n"); if (rc == REG_BADRPT) fprintf(stderr, "Invalid regex\n"); fprintf(stderr, "%s: Failed to compile the regular expression:%d\n", __func__, rc); return 1; } while (status) { fgets(email, sizeof(email), stdin); status = email[0]-48; rc = regexec(&preg, email, (size_t)0, NULL, 0); if (rc == 0) { fprintf(stderr, "%s: The regular expression is a match\n", __func__); } else { fprintf(stderr, "%s: The regular expression is not a match: %d\n", __func__, rc); } } regfree(&preg); return 0; } The regex compilation is failing with the below error. The regex = [a-z0-9!#$%&'*+/=?^_`{|}~-]+(?:.[a-z0-9!#$%&'*+/=?^_`{|}~-]+)*@(?:[a-z0-9](?:[a-z0-9-]*[a-z0-9])?.)+[a-z0-9](?:[a-z0-9-]*[a-z0-9])? Invalid regex main: Failed to compile the regular expression:13 What is the cause of this error? Whether the regex need to be modified? Thanks, Mathew Liju

    1) Is it possible to use llvm-py on Windows without Visual Studio 2008? Maybe I can compile files on another computer and use on my? 2) Is llvm-py mature enough in your opinion? If not, what are the problems?

  • VPATH in makefile issue.

    - by Ashok Patil
    Hello, I have a question related to VPATH. I'm playing around with make files and the VPATH variable. Basically, I'm grabbing source files from a few different places (specified by the VPATH), and trying to compile them into the another directory ( $CURDIR/OBJ/ ) using simply a list of .o-files that I want. Can I create .o's in any another directory other than current dir when using VPATH??

  • Wanted: a very simple java RegExp API

    - by itsadok
    I'm tired of writing Pattern p = Pattern.compile(... Matcher m = p.matcher(str); if (m.find()) { ... Over and over again in my code. I was going to write a helper class to make it neater, but I then I wondered: is there a library that tries to provide a simpler facade for Regular Expressions in Java? I'm thinking something in the style of commons-lang and Guava.

  • Possible to use SaveVideoAtPathToSavedPhotosAlbum and still maintain 3.0 backward compatibility?

    - by erotsppa
    The function SaveVideoAtPathToSavedPhotosAlbum is only available with the iPhone SDK 3.1 or above but we want to maintain backward compatibility with 3.0 devices. How can this be done? At first we though we can do a runtime check, but it turns out that this can't even compile against the 3.0 SDK. We are getting the error "_UISaveVideoAtPathToSavedPhotosAlbum", referenced from: -[MovieViewController saveButtonPressed:] in MovieViewController.o ld: symbol(s) not found

  • Easiest way to implement RSS reader on Google Android?

    - by user291888
    Hi guys, This is my first time on stack overflow, so I apologize if this question has been asked before, but is there an easy way to implement an RSS reader on the Google Android (API 1.5)? I'm searched far and wide with the code sources I know of, and I've only found one implementation which takes 6 different classes and doesn't seem to compile on the current Android SDK's. If I end up having to write my own, I'll be sure to post it here later on. Thanks a lot.

  • Error in creating template class

    - by Luciano
    I found this vector template class implementation, but it doesn't compile on XCode. Header file: // File: myvector.h #ifndef _myvector_h #define _myvector_h template <typename ElemType> class MyVector { public: MyVector(); ~MyVector(); int size(); void add(ElemType s); ElemType getAt(int index); private: ElemType *arr; int numUsed, numAllocated; void doubleCapacity(); }; #include "myvector.cpp" #endif Implementation file: // File: myvector.cpp #include <iostream> #include "myvector.h" template <typename ElemType> MyVector<ElemType>::MyVector() { arr = new ElemType[2]; numAllocated = 2; numUsed = 0; } template <typename ElemType> MyVector<ElemType>::~MyVector() { delete[] arr; } template <typename ElemType> int MyVector<ElemType>::size() { return numUsed; } template <typename ElemType> ElemType MyVector<ElemType>::getAt(int index) { if (index < 0 || index >= size()) { std::cerr << "Out of Bounds"; abort(); } return arr[index]; } template <typename ElemType> void MyVector<ElemType>::add(ElemType s) { if (numUsed == numAllocated) doubleCapacity(); arr[numUsed++] = s; } template <typename ElemType> void MyVector<ElemType>::doubleCapacity() { ElemType *bigger = new ElemType[numAllocated*2]; for (int i = 0; i < numUsed; i++) bigger[i] = arr[i]; delete[] arr; arr = bigger; numAllocated*= 2; } If I try to compile as is, I get the following error: "Redefinition of 'MyVector::MyVector()'" The same error is displayed for every member function (.cpp file). In order to fix this, I removed the '#include "myvector.h"' on the .cpp file, but now I get a new error: "Expected constructor, destructor, or type conversion before '<' token". A similar error is displayed for every member as well. Interestingly enough, if I move all the .cpp code to the header file, it compiles fine. Does that mean I can't implement template classes in separate files?

  • Compiling Gearman extension for PHP on OS-X Snow Leopard with Zend Server Community Edition

    I was wondering if anyone else has figured out how to solve this problem. Whether I install the extension via PECL or compile it by hand, I get the same error: PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/zend/lib/php_extensions/gearman.so' - dlopen(/usr/local/zend/lib/php_extensions/gearman.so, 9): no suitable image found. • In Haskell, what does it mean if a binding "shadows an existing binding"?

    - by Alistair
    I'm getting a warning from GHC when I compile: Warning: This binding for 'pats' shadows an existing binding in the definition of 'match_ignore_ancs' Here's the function: match_ignore_ancs (TextPat _ c) (Text t) = c t match_ignore_ancs (TextPat _ _) (Element _ _ _) = False match_ignore_ancs (ElemPat _ _ _) (Text t) = False match_ignore_ancs (ElemPat _ c pats) (Element t avs xs) = c t avs && match_pats pats xs Any idea what this means and how I can fix it? Cheers.

  • Is it possible to add "assert" as a keyword in Delphi?

    - by stanleyxu2005
    I write couple of "assert(...)" in code, to make sure that pre- and post-conditions should be satisfied. We can tell the Delphi compiler, whether to compile with assertions in a debug version and without assertions in a release version. I would like to know, if it is possible, to highlight "assert" like other Pascal keywords?

  • How to use ResourceManager in a "website" mode ?

    - by Erick
    I am trying here to do a manual translation for the application I am working with. (There is already a working LocalizationModule but it's working dodgy, so I can't use <asp:Localize /> tags. Normally with ResourceManager you are supposed to be using it as Namespace.Folder.Resourcename (in an application). Currently I am translating an existing asp.net "website" (not web application so no namespace here....). The resources are located into a folder name "Locales/resources" which contains "fr-ca.resx" and "en-us.resx". So I used a code with something like this : public static string T(string search) { System.Resources.ResourceManager resMan = new System.Resources.ResourceManager( "Locales", System.Reflection.Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly(), null ); var text = resMan.GetString(search, System.Threading.Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentCulture); if (text == null) return "null"; else if (text == string.Empty) return "empty"; else return text; } and inside the page I have something like this <%= Locale.T("T_HOME") %> When I refresh I have this : Could not find any resources appropriate for the specified culture or the neutral culture. Make sure "Locales.resources" was correctly embedded or linked into assembly "App_Code.9yopn1f7" at compile time, or that all the satellite assemblies required are loadable and fully signed. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
