  • Retrieving data from a JSON sub array in javascript, where identifier starts with an integer

    I must be missing something simple here, but I'm having trouble retrieving data from a JSON array response. I can access objects with identifiers that start with letters, but not ones that start with numbers. For example, I can access data.item[0].specs.overview.details But I can't access data.item[0].specs.9a99.details If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

  • Java - problems iterating through an ArrayList

    Ok so I have an ArrayList (arrBok), which is full of book objects (the code is in Norwegian, so pay no attention to that please). I want to make a public method which iterates through all the objects in the arraylist. When I execute the code, it just seems to run in an infinite loop, not producing any return values. Here is the relevant (I hope, because there are a couple of other classes involved) part of the code; public String listAll() { itr = arrBok.iterator(); while (itr.hasNext()) { i++; } return "lol"; } This code does nothing useful, but I just want to see if it can iterate through it successfully. What I have tried so far; Tested if the bokArr (arraylist) is empty, which it's not. It has 4 objects inside of it. Return the toString() method of the itr, with the following result; java.util.AbstractList$Itr@173a10f // <-- not sure if this would be relevant to anything return itr.next().toString(); <-- // which seems to return the first object in the array, does that make sense?

    I inherited a zencart mod and can't figure out what's wrong. The customer selects a product and an attribute (model#). This is then sent to another form that they complete. When they submit the form, the product and the attribute should be included in the email sent. At this time, only the product is coming through. The attribute just says "array." The interesting part is, when I delete the line that prints the attribute, the products_options_names will print out. So I know that both the product and the products_options_names are working. The attribute is the only thing that is not working right. Here's what I believe to be the significant code.     Hi, I'm looping a two-dimensional array like this: if (!empty($aka)) { foreach ($aka as $ak) { if($ak["lang"]=="es") { $sptitle=$ak["title"]; } } } Pretty simple. If the array ($aka) is not empty I loop trough it and when it finds that the "lang" index is equal to "es" I just save the "title" value for that index in $sptitle. The problem is that the array ($aka) contains a lot of information and sometimes there is no "lang" index... and I get this error: Notice: Undefined index: lang. How can I fix this??? This is a extract of the array to help you understand.     I am working on a Facebook for which I need to get all the Profile Pictures of Friends of the users. Which I did using FQL query. I need these images for creating a poster of all the Friends Profile pics along tags in them. For that I need to create a Dynamic poster for every user with their Friends tagged in them. I tried using the GD Library for PHP. I tried with the imagecreatefromjpeg() function of php for which I can use one image and pass it to the main image. But here I have more than 1 images (average about 100 images) depending on the number of friends the user has. What function do I need to create this dynamic poster ? Please any help would be appreciated !!

  • decode mysql query before returning it to view

    I'm running a query to mysql that returns encrypted data. I'd like, if possible, to decode the results before sending it to the view. It seems like better form to handle the decoding in the controller (or even the model) rather than inside the view. I can't seem to wrap my head around how to do it, though. I was thinking I could iterate through the object, decodode it, and push it to another array that would be sent to the view. Problem with this is I won't know (and need to keep) the indexes of the query.     Hi I'm just playing around with some PHP and was wondering what happens when an object from a class is created within another PHP script? I assume once its created and been processed their is no way of then going back and 'playing' around with it from another script? The idea is i'm trying to create a kind of deck of cards using a card class, each card has specific data that is added to each individual object to make it unique, suit, value etc. Once its created i need to be able to go back to specific cards to use them. In java i'd have an arraylist of card objects, i'm not sure how to approach the same area in PHP. Thanks.
