    For those who use AjaxToolKit controls presenting a language-dependent data (the CalendarExternder with the names of the months and weeks, for example) you can change the language to be presented in a simple way. In Web.Config let's define the primary culture as follows: < system . web > <System. Web> < globalization uiCulture = "pt-pt" culture = "pt-pt" /> <Globalization UICulture = "en-us" culture = "en-us" /> ... ...  In this example I'm using Portuguese. To finish it is necessary to change our ScriptManager. Be it the ToolScriptManager AjaxToolKit or belonging to the ScriptManager's framework.   • Writing Unit Tests for an ASP.NET MVC Action Method that handles Ajax Request and Normal Request

    In this blog post, I will demonstrate how to write unit tests for an ASP.NET MVC action method, which handles both Ajax request and normal HTTP Request. I will write a unit test for specifying the behavior of an Ajax request and will write another unit test for specifying the behavior of a normal HTTP request. Both Ajax request and normal request will be handled by a single action method. So the ASP.NET MVC action method will be execute HTTP Request object’s IsAjaxRequest method for identifying whether it is an Ajax request or not. So we have to create mock object for Request object and also have to make as a Ajax request from the unit test for verifying the behavior of an Ajax request. I have used NUnit and Moq for writing unit tests. This control eliminates the need to use four DropDownlist controls to hold the range values and the need for a validation control. Then we will use the Column Chart to display number of cars on Sesame Street based on the selected range values.   • AJAX spreadsheet editor interfaced to own website

    My website has records that are tables. I would like for my users to be able to edit these records in an easy way. Currently they download a .csv-file, edit it in their favourite spreadsheet, and upload it again. But this often fails (they upload in wrong format or edit fields that they are not supposed to touch). I would therefore like to present the users with an editor directly on the website. So just like you can have WYSIWYG editors in CMSes for text I would like to have it for spreadsheets. One solution would be to interface my website with GoogleDoc and have the users edit the files using GoogleDoc's spreadsheet, and some how get the sheet back when they are done, but I do not know if this is possible at all.
