    I have been banging my head for quite a while with this and can't get it to work. I have a LDAP Query I do have working in AD Users and Computers but dont know how to do it programatically in C#.     I am working with Qt's QWebView, and have been finding lots of great uses for adding to the webkit window object.     Some advice needed on how I can structure my models for my site. I have seen this post from Django project but still a little lost. Also come across Django-MPTT - but that's no help and possibly overkill. I'm looking to have categories & subcategories that are shown in the URLs like this: mysite.com/Level1/Maths/Calculations/Addition/ mysite.com/Level3/English/ mysite.com/Level2/English/Storytelling/ In my admin interface I'm looking to have drop downs for each level of category or subcategory. Also at each level I will be querying items (another model) like get all items that have the category 'Level1' AND 'Maths'. There could also be a situation where I have five or more subcategories. How is it best to create my models for best performance? It it worth using tagging instead?

In this example for costs of 500 or less, the markup is a 200%. For costs of 500-1000 the markup is 150%. I can sell kits or the individual parts, So the stock of the kits is virtual. The problem when I buy: Some providers sell me the Time Travel kit as a whole (with one barcode) and some sells me the individual parts (with a different barcode) So when I load the stock I don't know how to impute it. The problem when I sell: If I only sell kits, calculate the stock would be easy: "I have 3 Flux capacitors and 2 Mr Fusions, so I have 2 Time travel kits and a Flux Capacitor" But I can sell Kits or individual parts. So, I have to track the stock of the individual parts and the possible kits at the same time (and I have to compensate for the sell price) Probably this is really simple, but I can't see a simple solution. Resuming: I have to find a way of tracking the stock and the database/program is the one who has to do it (I cant ask the clerk to correct the stock) I'm using php+MySql. But this is more a logical problem than a programing one

    Most examples show how to redirect all subdomain traffic to a primary domain, maintaining the directory structure. I actually don't want this. I want to redirect all subdomain traffic (the site is going away) to the primary domain. This is not working: Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine on RewriteRule (.*) http://www.newdomain.com/ [R=301,L] What happens, is if you go to this: http://sub.newdomain.com/some/path/ You get this: http://www.newdomain.com/some/path/ I want it all to go to the root.

  • In GWT I'd like to load the main page on www.domain.com and a dynamic page on www.domain.com/xyz - I

    Hi, I have a question for which I'm sure there must a simple solution. I'm writing a small GWT application where I want to achieve this: www.domain.com : should serve the welcome page www.domain.com/xyz : should serve page xyz, where xyz is just a key for an item in a database. If there is an item associated with key xyz, I'll load that and show a page, otherwise I'll show a 404 error page. I was trying to modify the web.xml file accordingly but I just couldn't make it work. I could make it work with an url-pattern if the key in question is after another /, for example: www.domain.com/search/xyz. However, I'd like to have the key xyz directly following the root / (http://www.domain.com/xyz). Something like <servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>main</servlet-name> <url-pattern>/</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping> doesn't seem to work as I don't know how to address the main page index.html (as it's not an actual servlet) which will then load my main GWT module. I could make it work with a bad work around (see below): Redirecting a 404 exception to index.html and then doing the look up in the main entry point, but I'm sure that's not the best practice, also for SEO purposes. Can anyone give me a hint on how to configure the web.xml with GWT for my purpose? Thanks a lot.     My client's website has just reached spot 1 for the most valuable keyword. We acquired the domain that was at #1 spot. It's a keyword domain (targetkeyword.tld). Just wondering what would be the best way to make use of it. A permanent redirect or a single page that hyperlinks to the brand website? Should I be concerned about anything negative associated to this keyword domain (poor backlinks and the fact that this website was down for about one month)?

  • z-index has no effect in IE7 with Google Map and Navigation Sub-Menus

    I feel like the problem is extremely apparent. I'm working on an issue with a client's site, which actually happens on several of my clients' sites but this one is the most apparent. IE7 Is refusing to obey z-index rules. I've played around with differing values, particularly on the divs #mapWrapper and #map. I also ready through Aleksandar Vacic's article on IE6/7 z-index discrepancies, but still nothing. Any assistance would be much appreciated, I'm tearing my hair out on this one.

In the code belong a userId is passed into the method, then LINQ uses this to get all rows from the GroupTable tables matching the userId.     I have a text file that lists the names of a large number of Excel spreadsheets, and the names of the files that are linked to from the spreadsheets. In simplified form it looks like this: "Parent File1.xls" Link: ChildFileA.xls Link: ChildFileB.xls "ParentFile2.xls" "ParentFile3.xls" Blah Link: ChildFileC.xls Link: ChildFileD.xls More Junk Link: ChildFileE.xls "Parent File4.xls" Link: ChildFileF.xls In this example, ParentFile1.xls has embedded links to ChildFileA.xls and ChildFileB.xls, ParentFile2.xls has no embedded links, and ParentFile3.xls has 3 embedded links. I am trying to write a regular expression in PowerShell that will parse the text file producing output in the following form: ParentFile1.xls:ChildFileA.xls,ChildFileB.xls ParentFile3.xls:ChildFileC.xls,ChildFileD.xls,ChildFileE.xls etc The task is complicated by the fact that the text file contains a lot of junk between each of the lines, and a parent may not always have a child. Furthermore, a single file name may pass over multiple lines. However, it's not as bad as it sounds, as the parent and child file names are always clearly demarcated (the parent with quotes and the child with a prefix of Link: ). The PowerShell code I've been using is as follows: $content = [string]::Join([environment]::NewLine, (Get-Content C:\Temp\text.txt)) $regex = [regex]'(?im)\s*\"(.*)\r?\n?\s*(.*)\"[\s\S]*?Link: (.*)\r?\n?' $regex.Matches($content) | %{$_.Groups[1].Value + $_.Groups[2].Value + ":" + $_.Groups[3].Value} Using the example above, it outputs: ParentFile1.xls:ChildFileA.xls ParentFile2.xls""ParentFile3.xls:ChildFileC.xls ParentFile4.xls:ChildFileF.xls There are two issues. Firstly, the inclusion of the "" instead of a newline whenever a Parent without a Child is processed. And the second issue, which is the most important, is that only a single child is ever shown for each parent. I'm guessing I need to somehow recursively capture and display the multiple child links that exist for each parent, but I'm totally stumped as to how to do this with a regular expression. Amy help would be greatly appreciated. The file contains 100's of thousands of lines, and manual processing is not an option :)

  • PHP not working when accessed through a domain name, but works fine when accessed through IP

    Done a basic setup of Ubuntu Server installing Apache, PHP and mysql through tasksel. When I browse to the IP address of the server it works fine and allows me to render PHP scripts fine. So I added a DNS entry for the server onto my local DNS server, calling it webdev.lazer.net When I go to this domain name through my browser it renders HTML documents fine but if I try to view PHP scripts it doesn't render and downloads in plain text to the browser (As if the PHP parser isn't rendering .php documents). I'm sure its some rookie mistake, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  • webserver running as nobody cannot resolve domain names

    if i try to run the following: <?php echo file_get_contents("http://www.yahoo.com/index.html"); ?> through the web server I get a an "php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo" error. If I run the same file from the shell with: php test.php then I get the expected file output. This indicates to me that the 'nobody' user, which the webserver runs as, is not able to resolve the domain name, but the shell user can. Any ideas on how to fix this? Further info: CentOS 6, cPanel install, Apache, PHP running as dso. BTW, I've tried disabling the firewall to no effect.

  • Why can't sub-packages see package private classes?

    Okay so, I have this project structure: package A.B class SuperClass (this class is marked package private) package A.B.C class SubClass (inherits from super class) I'd rather not make SuperClass publicly visible... It is really just a utility class for this specific project (A.B). It seems to me that SubClass should be able to see SuperClass, because package A.B.C is a subpackage of A.B... but this is not the case. What would be the best way to resolve this issue? I don't think it makes sense to move everything in A.B.C up to A.B or move A.B down to A.B.C... mainly because there will probably be an A.B.D which inherits from stuff in A.B as well... I'm a bit new to Java, so be nice :D (I'm a C++ and .NET guy)

So far I have this as my jquery code $('#main').find('.sub_main').each( function() { alert('hi'); }); The alert is just a test that it should show "hi" twice. But this is not working. For example, my domain would now be "my_domain.com" but i would like another one to be "domain2.my_domain.com". My question is,what is this officially called and how do i set it up? I'm not sure if you need two servers or just 1;

  • PKI Issuing CA on Domain Controllers

    I am setting up a PKI which will initially be used internally. As we may grow our use of this I have opted for a three tier hierarchy - Offline Root and Policy CAs (one Policy CA at the moment for internal use), and online issuing CAs. We had initially discussed using our Domain Controllers as the Issuing CAs rather than setting up dedicated ones. I am now starting to have doubts about whether it is a good idea to have our DCs do certificate issuing. We have less than 1000 users, so our DCs aren't hugely taxed. Does anyone have any suggestions for or against doing this? We are currently running Windows 2003 Active Directory, but will be upgrading to Windows 2008 in the coming year. I'm setting up Windows 2008 PKI.
