• Uncaught syntax error: Adding <li> elements to an <ul>

  I keep getting an uncaught syntex error which I know usually means your code has a missing closing something. I keep failing to see what it is that I am missing. The idea of the function is that it extracts the a links ID and Text content and add's it to an un-ordered list. The links have a class of 'ingredient_add' and the unordered list has an ID of 'ingredientsAdded'. • $this.attr() stops Jquery dialog from opening

  I am using the following code to post my form data to player/index.php and open it in a dialog. Because I have multiple of these forms in my table I need to use $(this). But now it doesn't open in a dialog. • Trouble with jQuery Form Validation

  I'm making a form that has the following validation rules: no fields are "required", but if you enter an email, it must be valid, and if you enter a password, it must be at least 6 characters and match the confirm password field value. The form works flawlessly with no validation so I know it's not a PHP or HTML problem.   Hi I am quite weak at XSLT so this might seem obvious. Here is some sample XML <term> <name>cholecystocolonic fistula</name> <definition>blah blah</definition> <reference>cholecystocolostomy</reference> </term> And here is the XSLT I wrote a while ago to process it <xsl:template name="term"> { "dictitle": "<xsl:value-of select="name" disable-output-escaping="yes" />", "html": "<xsl:value-of select="definition" disable-output-escaping="yes"/>", "referece": "<xsl:value-of select="reference" disable-output-escaping="yes"/> } </xsl:template> Basically I am creating JSON from the XML. The requirements have now changed so that now the XML can have more than one definition tag and reference tag. They can appear in any order, i.e definition, reference, reference, definition, reference. How can I update the XSLT to accommodate this? Probably worth mentioning that because my XSLT processor is using .NET I can only use XSLT 1.0 commands. Many thanks!

• "Add another item" form functionality

  I have a form that lets a user enter their career history - it's a very simple form with only 3 fields - type (dropdown), details (textfield) and year (dropdown). Basically I want to include some dynamic functionality whereby the user can enter multiple items on the same page and then submit them all in one go. I had a search on Google and found some examples but they were all based on tables - my markup is based on DIV tags: <div class="form-fields"> <div class="row"> <label for="type">Type</label> <select id="type" name="type"> <option value="Work">Work</option> </select> </div> <div class="row"> <label for="details">Details</label> <input id="details" type="text" name="details" /> </div> <div class="row"> <label for="year">Year</label> <select id="year" name="year"> <option value="2010">2010</option> </select> </div> </div> So basically the 3 DIV tags with class "row" need to be duplicated, or to simplify things - the div "form-fields" could just be duplicated. I am also aware that the input names would have to converted to array format. Additionally each item will require a "remove" button. There will be a main submit button at the bottom which submits all the data. Anyone got an elegant solution for this?

Is it possible to lock individual objects in a collection instead of locking the entire collection so that only threads trying to access the same object in the collection would get blocked instead of every thread?   Hello all, I have tags in a html list, here is an example of two tags. <div class="tags"> <ul> <li> <a onclick="tag_search('tag1');" href="#">tag1 <span class="num-active">1</span></a> </li> <li> <a onclick="tag_search('tag2');" href="#">tag2 <span class="num-active">1</span></a> </li> </ul> </div> I would like to write a function that I can pass a string to, that will match the strings in the a hyperlink i.e. "tag1" or "tag2", if there is a match then increment the number in the span, if not then add a new li. The bit I am having trouble with is how do I search for a string in the div with class tags and then when I find a match identifying the element. I can't even do the first bit as I am use to using an ID or a Class.   Say you've got some IEnumerable called S of length N. I would like to select all continuous subsequences of length n <= N from S. If S were, say, a string, this'd be pretty easy. There are (S.Length - n + 1) subsequences of length n. For example, "abcdefg" is length (7), so that means it has (5) substrings of length (3): "abc", "bcd", "cde", "def", "efg". But S could be any IEnumerable, so this route isn't open. How do I use extension methods to solve this?

Is it possible to do this without having nested loop? I do not want to loop through $arr2. I tried using array_filter but didnt really work. Maybe I used it wrong. • jQuery: Sustain a hover over two elements

  I have an <img> that, once hovered over, animates and fades in the <div> of a larger version of the picture, along with text and a hyperlink. When mousing out, the <div> animates and fades away. This works fine, only my hover function only pertains to the <img> itself. As soon as either a) the <div> appears over the <img>, or b) one mouses off the <img> to get to the <div>, jQuery reads a mouseout and animates the <div> away. How do I re-write my jQuery to allow me to fix this? Thanks in advance ... I can't think of any reason why it should behave this way, any idea if this is the expected behaviour or have I done something wrong? System is on hibernate/Syabse. Thanks.

  I have an array $aMethods whose print_r output is this: Array ( [0] => Array ( [pattern] => [return_media] => 1 [return_name] => ) ) I'm trying to access 'return_media' with this code: $iReturnMedia = $aMethods[0]->return_media; echo $iReturnMedia; Also, when I tried this: $iReturnMedia = $aMethods[0]['return_media']; I get an error stating: Cannot use string offset as an array in... But it's not working, $iReturnMedia comes back as blank. Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here?
