    Hi , is there any wiki that supports ACL , ADI and API ? and my requirement is we need a wiki that does three things 1. Uses ACL (Access Control lists - who can access what pages) 2. Needs AD (active directory integration) 3. Is scriptable via an API (meaning I can create a wiki page through an API in a program instead of logging in and manually typing in the page.)   • connecting to freenx server : configuration error

    I am not able to pin point what is missing. I have configured freenx-server (useradd, passwd etc). However, server drops the connection after authentication. Please note my server is ubuntu 10.04 and client recent version.   • Sound from both speakers and headphones with SoundMAX ADI AD1986A on Windows 7: possible?

    My ASUS A8N-VM CSM motherboard has an on-board sound chip–the SoundMAX ADI AD1986A. Although sound does work reliably on Windows 7, I was a bit disappointed that neither ASUS nor the manufacturer of the sound chip offer drivers for it for Windows 7 (or Vista for that matter). Among other things jack detection, output to front and read jack simultaneously and surround sound are no longer available using Microsoft's default HD Audio driver under Windows 7. Under Windows XP and several Linux distributions (Arch, Gentoo and Ubuntu) that I've tried everything works as it should. Since I switch between headphones and speakers quite often, this annoyance begs me to ask: aside from buying a sound card, is there any way to get sound from both outputs at the same time?

  • I can't get over a resolution of 640x480 after upgrading to 12.04, how can I fix it?

    Ever since I upgraded to 12.04 my screen resolution has gone down to 640 x 480, even though I had higher resolutions before. My xrand output looks as below : sandeep@sandeep-desktop:~$ xrandr xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default Screen 0: minimum 640 x 480, current 640 x 480, maximum 640 x 480 default connected 640x480+0+0 0mm x 0mm 640x480 0.0* How can I get higher resolutions, I know that my monitor support higher resolutions.

  • Upgrade from 11.10 to 12:04 failed

    I upgraded from Ubuntu 11.10 to 12.04 using the update manager. At the end of the upgrade the console said the upgrade had failed and it forced me to restart. After a restart I am not able to do anything other than logging in. I just see a blue screen with the ubuntu one icon, I can open applications, but nothing beyond that. I opened the terminal but after that the keyboard is not being recognized. Basically the laptop is now rendered useless. Any pointers on how to recover? This is on a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop with a 64 bit AMD Sempron Processor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Sandeep

I need a way for an object to disconnect all the handlers of its events in the Dispose method so a leak would not happen - at least not because of events.     Hi Guys, we need to evaluate a value in an object in run time while we have a textual statement of the exact member path for example: myobject.firstMember.secondMember[3].text we thought of parsing this textual statement using regex and then evaluate the text value by using reflection but before we do that i wonder if C# support some kind of eval ability? so we won't have to do the parsing ourself.     Hi, My Requirement is to show two sub reports in a Report. What I am doing is, I have created two sub-reports and put that into a report. But the issue is that, both the sub reports are growing (i.e. their height is not static as the number of records are variable). Is there anyway to capture Network-Traffic on iPhone simulator similar to Selenium RC Network capture or BrowserMob Proxy for Web Driver. Please let me know if you know way to capture Network traffic on iPhone simulator programmatically.   • Winforms - a strange problem a with simple binding

    Hi Guys, It's hard for me to clearly describe my problem but I'll try. I have a UserControl1 which contains UserControl2 which contains several WinForms controls (most of them DevExpress). I do simple binding to these controls to my datatable fields. So far everything works fine. When I move the focus to a record in the table (by navigating in a grid rows for example) the binding works great, the concurrenmcy manager moves the cursor and everything reflects right in the bounded controls. The problem starts when I add new user UserControl3 above UserControl2 and make UserControl2.Visible = false. Now UserControl3 is shown and UserControl2 exists but not shown. Now when I set UserControl2.Visible = true to show it again the simple binding stops working! I navigate in the grid but either the ConcurrencyManager stops working or the simple binding becomes disconnected. My question: Are there any known issues/ best practices with the binding & concurrency manager? Thanks a lot, Adi Barda

    Hi Guys, I have an assembly with few versions registered in the GAC. Now, I want one of my clients which uses this assembly (version 1.3) to point to the newest version (1.4) without opening the source and recompiling the client. I saw an article demonstrating a technique for doing so using the application config file (winform application) here is the config file content : <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <configuration xmlns:asm="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1"> <runtime> <asm:assemblyBinding> as you can see, there is a binding redirect from version 1.3.0.0 to 1.4.0.0 for assembly named MyFacade. Now, there's only a Minor issue with this approach. It doesn't work :) I'm sure it's something with my code. Any suggestions? Thanks, Adi Barda

    Hi Guys, Like everyone of us, I have my own dreams about developing the next cool product that will be adopted by many users and become industry standard. Surprisingly, I find that the most challenging task is to keep my website up & running. My site is being hacked again and again no matter what I do - I blocked the FTP connections, changed the Joomla (CMS) database table names, installed all latest patches and what not. The web site supports the product (over 1800 users now...) by generating licenses, support forums, documentation, galleries etc. The product which is a winforms application cannot be marketed without this web site. My question: Do you have any innovative idea about securing joomla based web sites or what is the best secured web hosting you know. currently i'm hosting my site at ixwebhosting and i like them very much but obviously i can't do any serious marketing being hacked over and over again Thank you very much, Adi Barda

    Is it possible to use Symbol MC70 series scanner with native code? I have a Windows Mobile application written using Lazarus(Object pascal) and I want to use it with Symbol MC70. The sdk that they have are for C, .NET and Java. I had a look at the C sdk and it comes with .LIB files which I cannot use with Object Pascal. I have no clue as to how the scanner is working with .NET stuff, I could not see a WIN32 dll in the files provided, maybe it is in the cab file. Any suggestions as to what I should do to get the scanners to work for me. Sandeep

  • set environment variables calling script file

    I have a requirement where I have to set environment variables calling a script file eg:set_env.sh. set_env.sh contains all the environment variables. export SCRIPT_DIR=/e/scripts/ ... when I call the set_env.sh from my code the variables are available in that file itself. They are not available in file where I have called the script. What should be done so that environment variables can be retained and can be used in file which calls set_env.sh. Thanks, Sandeep M.
