I am using apache deny to deny a country's ip ranges(Turkey in this case).
However from the apache log I still see ips from .tr(using dls connection presumably) accessing and get a valid http 200 response:
dslxxx.xxx-xxxxx.ttnet.net.tr
what am I missing?

I notice on my firewall that my QNAP NAS is continuously sending UDP sessions out to the Internet. Every second I have 5 - 7 connections out to addresses like the following:

I have a problem with a FreeBSD server.
There is a FreeBSD 9.0 amd64, two network cards em1 (internet), em0 (local network)
configured firewall ipfw, natd, squid (not transparent), the server acts as a gateway for access to the Internet.
Next problem: upload via squid is very low.

This probably very simple. This was setup before I arrived, and has been working to block facebook. I recently eliminated some static port forwarding on this 2691 (as in, I don't think anything else has changed), and now facebook is once again accessible.
Why is this list not doing what it seems…
