I was using my cable internet on windows and it was working. Now I moved to ubuntu for development work. But I am unable to connect this internet on ubuntu. I called their technical support and they ask me to install PTPPN (I have forgot the exact name) and then provide our server name, your username and passowrd.

I download that software PTPPN(whatever) by using a debian file but I did not find it after installation.

I tried to contact to technical support again but unable to connect. Can someone please tell the exact name of that software and how to install and then connect to internet on ubuntu? I have only the following information for now:

Install "PTPN" on ubuntu. (forgot exact name of this package) servername: blue.connect.net.pk username: myusername password: mypassword

Thanks
