Can i safely disable IPv6 in BIND to prevent logwatch entries

My logwatch is going nuts with unmatched network lookups for IPv6. One solution is to disable IPv6 and get rid of the most entries.

My question is if it is save to do this. What are the pro's and cons of taking this step. I am planning on running an auction website, and I don't want to block out potential customers with my actions.
