Hi,

I installed CentOs on VMware Player 3.0.1 running on windows XP.

When trying to configure it to connect to the internet in a bridged configuration, I get an error message when trying to bring up the network interface:

[root@VMLinux ~]# /et/init.d/network start
Bringing up loopback interface:                   [  OK  ]
Bringing up interface eth0:
Determining IP information for eth0... failed
                                                  [FAILED]

• VM is running on a machine that has access to the network, I tried it on two different networks that have DHCP enabled.
• Everything works fine when using a NAT connection through my host.

How can I make the bridge work for me?
