Scientific notation in Excel

Hi,

I need make Number Format like scientific notation, but without E nor e. Just classic like this:

$alt text$

(In latex its 2.3\times10^3)

Maybe excel doesn't support this format.

(I have on mind Number Format - for hundreds numbers - not in math formula)
