How do I design mailbox in my site ...

I am new to the PHP language ...

And asked me to design mailbox for each member in my site...

As the site contains the members, personal page for each member and the incoming fund that in which he can read private messages as well as send new messages, and also keep the messages sent ..

How do I do that ...????

I just want a guideline for the right way .... How do I start to design ..???
