What external comment system to use for Jekyll powered blog?

What external comment system (i.e. something like Disqus or perhaps even Hacker News / YCombinator) would you recommend for Jekyll-powered blog (in this case: blog on GitHub Pages), or in more generic term for blog aware static site generator powered blog (which includes beside Jekyll also for example ikiwiki or xfire's growl)?

Because a blog without comments is not a blog :-).
