Hi Guys,
I'm constructing a geolocation based application and I'm trying to figure out a way to make my application realise when a user is facing the direction of the given location (a particular long / lat co-ord). I've got the math figured, I just have the triangle to construct.

I've heard many times that all programming is really a subset of math. Some suggest that OO, at its roots, is mathematically based. I don't get the connection. Aside from some obvious examples:
using induction to prove a recursive algorithm

My web application displays MathML embedded in HTML using the MathPlayer plugin. I need to output to PDF. I have PDF components (Dynamic PDF, ABCpdf), but they don't know how to parse the MathML, of course.
Is there a library that can help me translate the MathML to an image or something that I can…

eLyXer is a standalone LyX to HTML converter. In the resulting file, equations are formatted as MathML, and the file itself starts with an XML tag.
This causes two problems:
LibreOffice does not read the XML file (it can read HTML files, but not XHTML).
I am unable to copy and paste the equations…

I wish an easy way to communicate mathematical equations with gmail.
There's a javascript script called AsciiMath, which should translate Tex-like equations into standard mathML.
I thought that it would be nice to use this script with GM. I thought that before sending the email, this script would…
