I am running windows 7 natively, i7 64 bit chipset.
ATI radeon hd 4800 series video card.
I have virtual box.
For some reason, when running ubuntu in virtualbox, the screen rez is like 600x480 (very very small).
Is this because ubuntu can't figure out my video card?

I recently bought a 19" LCD and the resolution automatically changed to 1440 x 900 when I plugged it in. I was fooling around with the resolutions then 1440 x 900 disappeared. Now I'm using 1280 x 1024, ITS BAD!!
How can I get this resolution back?

I have been using my Windows 7 PC with my 46" Samsung HDTV with 1920x1080 resolution. The boot screen seems to always be at 1024x768 resolution and the aspect ratio doesn't match the 1080p ratio.
