How to execute a osmdroid application?

Hello everyone, Can someone please tell me what are the steps to execute a osmdroid application. I have Eclipse installed on my machine along with ADT plugin and i have downloaded the source code and imported it in a eclipse. and tried to run it on Android 1.6 platform but somehow i am not getting the map instead i m just getting blank screen with grid in it. Are there any configurations has to be done which i am missing? Any help or any tutorial to execute osmdroid application will be appreciated.
