Can i change default AdminDateWidget to SelectDateWidget in my models?

How can i do this?

I try:

class RespondentAdmin(admin.ModelAdmin):
    formfield_overrides = {
            models.DateField: {'widget': SelectDateWidget},
        }

but it doesn't work
