I'm having a shocking time trying to install SQL Server 2008 on 64-bit Windows 7. When I run setup.exe, I get the following error message:
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 installation has failed.
SQL Server 2008 Setup requires .NET Framework 3.5 to be installed

I embedded video tutorial ( in the format of .swf) inside a chm file, but the video cannot run on Windows Vista/ 7 64 bit. It runs fine, however, on Windows XP.

Windows 7 64-bit version installs 32-bit programs to Program Files (x86) folder, and 64-bit programs to Program Files folder. Of course, Microsoft must have a reason for doing that, but as a user I don't find it handy to have 2 separate program folders. Is there any way to merge those folders into…
