I'm curious as to how much people are willing to spend on a typical computer. My most expensive machine is a gaming rig complete with an ATI Radeon HD4850, Wolfdale 3.0 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo, 500 Gb hard drive, Antec 900 computer case, the works. I also have a 2-monitor set up. I'd have to say this thing has cost me a little more than a grand at this point, and I'd put the total value of the components at roughly $1300.

So, how far have you gone with your computer rigs and has it been worth it?
