I have been using my capture card as a video in device so I can play my video game systems without having to go to the TV in another room. I have been trying to get the audio to play through line-in, to no avail. Would there be a way to make the audio from line-in to output the video game console…

I had this working with MythTV on Ubuntu 9.1. Then a power surge killed the motherboard. After replacing the motherboard, ram and cpu, the card does not produce any audio except through the output jack on the back of the card.
I do not want to use a cable to go from the back of the card to the audio…
