If you get the following error, while running the SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard:

Internet Information Services is not installed. You must have Internet Information Services installed in order to use the SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard

In order to resolve this, Open Server Manager, go to Roles and right click on Web Server

And in the Window that comes up, Enable the option that says IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility (Installed)
